Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

Was treated to a much needed «Rejuvination»…80 minute massage, facial and foot treatment! I have to say, everyone front the front desk, receptionist to the best massage I have ever had in my life… was exceptional! Treat yourself, whether you think you deserve it or not! You do! And thank you!

Mary was exceptional! I enjoyed my facial with microdermabrasion and think it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. And I’ve had plenty. I would highly recommend Mary for your next facial. Hand & Stone is clean, comfortable, cost effective and the staff is very friendly. 5 star experience!

I am so glad I finally found my Esthetician Monal at Hand and stone Plano location. I had best Facial in my life… as I have tried different facials at different places! She is so knowledgeable. She exactly knew what she was doing with great technique. My skin has never looked better! She actually took time to go through my diet to see what could possibly be causing all the breakouts. She’s really gentle with extractions. My skin just feels really hydrated and clean. I bought few products from there. However, She never pushed me to buy.
I would recommend Monal to anyone who has any type of skin care issues, from mild to severe or even if you have great skin already and just need an awesome facial or an immediate glow. Go Monal!!! :-)

Girlfriend was trying to get a massage here today. Put in an appointment request last night about 9pm. It said something along the lines that they would call an hour after they opened. She didn’t hear from them and called about 11am. She asked if there was anything available for today, but the girl on the phone had an extremely rude tone. After being on the phone with this girl my girlfriend was very put off with this business, so she said forget it and called another place. She was very happy with the place she called and ended up getting a massage there today.
I was very disappointed in hearing her experience after I was very pleased with what I read about the business and their reviews. Bad customer service is horrible for business. I am not excited to be writing this review. I do not like giving 1 star reviews.
Think twice before using this business.

Amazing! I’ve gotten facials at differnt joints. But, it was an exceptional experience at this place. Got two microdermabrasions so far and the difference is visible. Had old blemishes on my left cheek which have started to fade away. I can’t be happier. Monal is wonderful. She knows her stuff. She is so good with her technique I fall asleep every time. I totally recommend her.

I’ve been looking for a great option for regular massages to complement chiropractic work — my search is over. I scheduled online and was able to get a same-​day appointment. Now, I’m not a person who needs to pay an exorbitant amount of money to have a quiet room and baths and all the extras that I don’t use anyway, but if you are one of those people, then look elsewhere.
I was checked in by a very kind gentleman who gave me the typical paperwork to fill out. Teschelle was my therapist. She. Is. Amazing! I like firm pressure/​deep tissue massages. If you do also — ask for her!
I was hesitant at first to book somewhere that offers memberships, as I really wasn’t interested in one, but signed up at the end of my visit to ensure that I would get massages regularly. I will definitely return and also recommend to my chiropractor.

I have been a member at Hand and Stone (Denver, Co. location) for several years. I have always loved my Denver location and was sad to move to Dallas, TX. Fortunately, I was able to find a H&S (Plano) not far from my home. I must say I am pleased with this location! I received many massages from Will and hands down… the man is amazing!!!
He has helped me in so many ways, by stretching me and doing trigger point on areas that needed help. He is also very knowledgeable and has taught me how to take care of my body post massage. By doing his suggestions (various stretching and how to sleep properly) I now feel amazing!
I have been to this location several times now for both facials and massages and all the therapists there have been great! All of them have their own styles and tricks! I have not had any bad experiences. The staff is super friendly and parking has never been an issue. I highly recommend this place!

My therapist was like being touched with a miracle!!! I have frozen shoulder — and what I thought I was getting was just a plain massage to help relax the muscles… no… my guy knew what he was doing! While it wasn’t the most stress releaving massage… it made my pain GO AWAY!
my range of motion was better the next day — I felt like I could wash my own hair!!! (cause I have limited range of motion). It was unreal — that within an instant — that the stabbing pain — just disappeared. He knew exactly what he was doing — and I will forever sing his praises — refer everyone I know and scream it from the mountain tops how great he is! The only negative is the membership issue — I think that if you just charged a higher rate (median and comparible to others) more people would come back. Gyms have ruined the whole membership issue.

First time at hand and stone and overall it was decent!
Pros:
–They were able to take my friend and I for facials with 3 hours notice.
–Everything was clean and sanitary.
–Our estheticians were friendly and inviting and both on time.
Now I only have what my friend told me about her experience, but in comparison mine seemed to barely hit all the requirements.
She had Mary and LOVED her. She was very informative, and made my friend very relaxed with what she was doing each step, making light of all conversations.
I had Monal (spelling?) she was very sweet, took the time to talk to me to get a feel for my skin needs etc.
I’m not sure if they all wear gloves but, though I understand why, got to be very annoying because that’s all I could hear.
She had great technique, but when she’s slide across my chin, she kept getting product on my lips and after doing that a few times, I could actually start to taste the product. Not the end of the world, but when you’re trying to relax… That didn’t make it easy. She offered me a shoulder or hand massage while I had a mask setting on my face.
I opted for the shoulder massage, though in previous facials I got both. The pressure was a bit to much in some places, and it bothered me that she didn’t even ask of the pressure she was doing was okay.
My friend, who had Mary. Got both! Even though we both got the same facial with different add ons.
When it came time to look closer at my face, Monal put little round pads over my eyes, and then turned on a bright light without warning me. Not a big deal. But again, when trying to be relaxed, things like that make it difficult.
Also, Mary took an extra 15 minutes with my friend, and as I waited for her, I saw Monal leave within 10 minutes of me sitting there. Clearly ready to be off the clock. Totally understandable. But still.
I didn’t get all the names of people we spoke with before and after, but Shelby the front desk girl was helpful. (A little pushy about the membership, but that’s her job. And when I said no thanks, she dropped it. Much appreciated!!)
All in all not a bad place. I may go back. But probably not this location. And although people get return clients by putting their own spin on things, I wish our facials had been more similar. Prices compare to massage envy.

This was my very first time visiting Hand and Stone and I must say I truly enjoyed it! I was able to request an 80min massage and 1-​hour facial online the night before, they called me the next day and booked me in the time frame I requested without any problems (appt was the same day I booked!) The atmosphere is very relaxing and the coconut water is delicious lol. For my facial I had Mary and she was awesome, she knew exactly what she was doing and knew what my skin needed without me having to tell her. And I left there with my skin feeling amazing (she made me feel very comfortable)! Kasandra took care of my massage and it was the absolute perfect happy medium between firm and soothing which was exactly what I wanted! Overall, I left there feeling amazingly rejuvenated. Receptionists were nice and very cordial so customer service was good, but I was more focused on the quality of services. Really good price for the quality! Definitely recommend this place!

Had a Terrible couples massage, felt like the lady gave me an oil rub down and told me to stretch. First and a last time we will be here. It was far from being a tranquil relaxing experience

I have had many massages here from several different people. I love this place and will continue to keep going. I’ve never felt so good after I leave this place. I can’t say enough good things about them all. I’ve also even bought a few gift certificates for a couple family members. Not one complaint at all. Nothing but a piece of heaven here.

Let me start out by staying that my massage was great and my therapist was very polite. I am an Esthetician and Spa Manager at another local spa and I’d say my massage was even better than one that some of our clients pay double the price for. I love visiting other spas in the area to check out local talent. Plus, it’s nice to visit a spa where no one knows who you are!
Anyways, I had a terrible headache for going on three days and definitely got the relief I needed. I booked for a 50 minutes massage and the peppermint scalp massage. The only issue I had was when I checked in, the spa coordinator really pushed me to get more add on services which was fine because they sounded great and I know that it’s what she is trained to do. I decided to add on an extra 30 minutes to my massage.
When I sat down to fill out paperwork, the Spa Coordinator came to let me know that unfortunately, the massage therapist had an emergency to tend to right after my massage and could not add on an additional 30 minutes. Working in the industry, I knew that this was total BS and my therapist just didn’t want to stay any later than she already was for my 7:30 appointment time (I know how the mind of a commissioned staff member works). If my therapist really had an «emergency» to tend to after my service, the Spa Coordinator would not have pushed the add on services the way that she did. If she really did have an emergency to tend to, I’d recommend that Hand and Stone get a new Spa Coordinator that can better manage the therapist’s schedule and not offer services that they can’t accommodate for because quite frankly, it’s unacceptable in our industry.
So, would I go back here again? Yes. Would I recommend it to someone I know? Yes. Would I consider getting any last minute add ons? Absolutely not.

Tytiana was terrific. Knew exactly where every knot was and exactly how much pressure to apply. I believe I walked out a bit taller than when I walked in.
