The burgers are good but they use to much condiments. The fried mushrooms are great. VERY FRIENDLY

Jimmy’s Big Burgers is a place where any guy can go and get filled up with $ 12 average and have a good meal while their there. The burgers are big, packed and flavorful, they have many different options with up to 1 lb beef burgers and a philly cheese steak, chicken philly and around 5 other chicken options, a fish sandwich as well as some salad and chicken tenders. They have good food that’s actually worth the slightly higher price, and the place is fairly clean, lit up and friendly. It’s great for groups and friends, and they have smooth takeout. The transactions are quick and you’ll have your food within 15 – 20 minutes. You could go to more out of the way places like Olive Burger, but as a long time customer, its definitely worth the short trip down the road. Good eats my friends!

One of my coworkers raves about Jimmy’s Burgers. I was in the area. So I stopped in and ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The burger was OK but the chewy elastic bacon is just kinda weird. I don’t get it.

Jimmy runs an excellent grill — burgers, sandwiches, sides — it’s all good. Dine in, the place is clean; pick-​up is hot and ready to go

Great burgers! Jimmy’s is close to my work so I’ve been in a few times. Always clean and friendly staff! They get your order out quick. So far I’ve just had the burgers, french fries and spicy curly fries. Looking forward to trying more!

Needed to grab a quick dinner, so I decided to order to go. The order was ready faster tgan they committed. My mushroom burger was delicious and the onion rings were perfectly cooked. I will be going back in the future.

I’m giving Jimmy’s Big Burgers a one star from the 5 star I gave a few years ago. Change of ownership really did this restaurant in, they no longer deliver and the food is awful. Plus, the restaurant is not very appealing.

We love coming here… the manager is very nice and the food is great and quick. I love the burgers!

I was shocked to notice I haven’t written a review on Jimmys. Love this place! Food is delicious. Juicy flavorful home style burgers. Fries have this amazing seasoning on them. They always have combo specials. I usually get the jalapeño burger combo. Burger, fries and drink for $ 6.95. Good price and flavor is So good! I love the cooks here too always remember you and stop to say hello. Another cool thing, not that it applies to my way of life, but the food is halal? I think that’s the right terminology. Hmm maybe I’ll have Jimmys tonight. Ha! Good stuff.

Wife called in a carry-​out order and had a hard time communicating with the lady on the other end of the phone line.
She eventually ordered the jungle burger and 2 drinks. We had a groupon that we used on this transaction. $ 12 for $ 20 worth of food.
The store had a few folks in line and needed a little cleaning. The burgers took a while to cook but they were great as always.

Amazing!!! I was shocked at how good this 100% halal place was! (New to the area and still exploring). I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was delicious. Definitely coming back. This is better than the other halal jimmys in plano FYI. Customer service was excellent!

We decided to try out this place after finding out that Olive Burger was closed down due to remodeling. There are not that many halal burger joints in Dallas so this was our second best choice.
Starting off with the service, the gentleman behind the counter was very courteous and patient while we were taking our order. The food came out fairly quick and they answered all the questions we had about the menu. So all in all service was good.
Environment was a bit outdated and bland. The bathrooms could use some serious updating. And the tables and chairs just seemed a little cheap. But all that doesn’t really bother me too much, I don’t judge the merits of a restaurant based on superficial fluff. But if I were the owner, I would consider hiring an interior designer to soften the place up a bit and definitely updating the bathrooms.
And finally for the food, I ordered a classic cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The burger was okay, a little over done in my opinion, but maybe I should have specified that upon ordering. But the real test were the fries, and that’s where this place fell short the most. If you ever want to win me over, hand cut fries are a must! I know it takes a little extra time and effort, but that is really the trick to owning a successful burger joint.
I liked the people, but I wasn’t a fan of the food. Sorry Jimmy’s but let me know when you’ve caught up to the competition and we will meet again. Salam!

Decent place for burgers. We went here after finding out the place we were originally going to for dinner closed early but it didn’t really disappoint. It has a fairly large seating area and order at the counter system. The menu consists of burgers with chicken and beef options and we were told it’s halal which is definitely a bonus! It also does specials on Pakistani-​Indian food such as biryani which was slightly odd to me but was really good. I personally had the chipotle chicken sandwich which I thought was decent– nothing great but it wasn’t bad either. Their curly fries were really good! Overall a sub par experience. Can’t say I’m dying to go back anytime soon.

We visited Jimmy’s Big Burger Saturday after my son’s game. I may have gone here with high expectations based on other reviews as I felt the burger was just okay. I ordered the ¼ cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The burger was a bit dry and had a few pieces of gristle throughout. The sweet potato fries were definitely not worth the $ 1 up charge.

I would come back for the hamburger. I got the $ 6 combo. ¼ of a hamburger, fries and drink. Hubs had the steak burger and «the boss» ordered a grilled cheese.
Everything was fresh and hot when it was delivered to the table. The burger had mayo on it where I normally expect mustard but no biggie. It best emended me of a good gas station hamburger. (And that’s a compliment where I am from.)
The regular and curly fries wouldn’t be included on my next order but they aren’t horrible. Just plain. Onion rings are ⁵⁄₁₀. And the generic ketchup doesn’t help the situation.
It was empty for lunch on a Sunday and I am not sure why.

Great big tasty burgers at a really good price. The toppings are wonderful. The beef is flavorful. The sides eh so so.

This place is a lot of hype! Burger was big but it fell apart too fast. They need a better bun, and the meat seemed like it was butchered to death. The patty was cut into 3 different pieces. Onion rings were nothing to write home about. I would not come back. There are much better burger places in town!

This is the best burger joint that I’ve found in DFW so far! Clean! Friendly! Fresh, fresh food! Sweet potato fries! Ice cream!
It looks to be a relatively new establishment and is quite clean inside. The food is consistently good. The service is quick and attentive.
FYI This is a walk-​in burger joint (no drive-​thru). They could use a few booths in the dining area to cozy up the place. The atmosphere is a little sterile with only the tables and chairs for seating options.
