Pizza is definitely New York style and tastes great. Just ask for extra crispy. Go early on busy nights or you’ll be waiting a while to sit down. Even carry out takes long on busy nights. Garlic knots are soft and tasty. It was my first visit. I did carry out. I’ll definitely return for sit down.

Ok, so we’ve become consistent customers of Joe’s. Unfortunately, I must drop a star due to the poor quality and lack of freshness of the desserts, and that’s after trying them on multiple occasions. They simply don’t throw out the old desserts when they’re dated & no longer fresh, rather they serve them to paying customers — gross & potentially sickening. I’ve experienced a rancid tiramisu — twice… a hard chocolate cake… AND a soggy cheesecake slice. This is our go to place for pizza, but we’ll be sure to leave it at only that. Shame.

Very good food! Service was okay(wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great), but food more than made up for it. We had the Margararita Pizza, Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, Chicken Parmesan, and Mac & Cheese, and it was ALL amazing.(Seemingly) Top quality, fresh food in a small, «hole in the wall» venue? I love it. I will definitely be returning.

The Ceasar salad was wilted, soggy, and unappetizing to look at, and only came with one croûton. I’m not sure how long ago it was made… The pizza was pizza, not anything spectacular. Not worth $ 6.99 for a slice of pizza, salad, and soft drink.

Use to really like this place but recently their delivery has been very poor. A week or so ago I placed an order for 1 pizza. It took 2 hrs for it to reach my door. After many phone calls the driver then blamed the restaurant for giving him the wrong address however the address was correct on the ticket. I called to talk to the owner he accused me of being someone I am not just to get free food. I do not know who he thought I was but he proceeded to curse me out. I did not ask for anything but having been in the service and restaurant business for many years I just wanted to give him a head’s up. Never again will I eat at this establishment. Thumbs down in service.

We have eaten at Joes a few time more lunch than dinner. Have always had great service and we love the food. I like that you can order a slice of pizza, salad and a drink for lunch for a good price.

Great pizza, super easy online order and payment, and delivery was right on time. Even the delivery guy was super nice! It was our first-time to try Joes — we’ll definitely call again! Thanks for a great dinner!

Good NY style pizza. Garlic rolls… not quite. Stromboli was good. Will be going back!

Their pizza is so good you can’t stop eating it. I would recommend not ordering a large unless you are ok with putting yourself in a food coma. Joes wins.

Their Chicago-style deep dish pizza is AMAZING! Authentic Italian… Even the 2 guys making the pizza(assuming they’re the owners?) were arguing in Italian and talking with their hands. It was great lol! One of them came to our table to apologize for the long wait; but the fresh, hot pizza was worth it! Servers are young, flirty Plano West high school boys. They were friendly and know how to flatter a table of patrons. Their pasta, subs, and appetizers were only so-so, unfortunately. Overall, will be back whenever the family wants a good, thick, fresh, hot, eat-with-a-fork-and-knife kind of pizza! Yumm.

Growing up in the northeast I’ve enjoyed my fill of stromboli. Today I had the best ever at Joe’s!

I have probably been here half a dozen times in the past year and each time my visit is very similar — in a good way. This place is BYOB — while not a big deal to me, I get why people would love that. The pizza is delicious — I haven’t tried much other than cheese/pepperoni but if I want pizza, this is where I go. There’s a pizza place(also named joes but not sure there’s an affiliation) probably 2 mins from my house in Carrollton but I’ll drive the 15 mins or so to come here. We have never done take-out; always ate there. Service is good; pretty standard. My only compliant would be their cheesy garlic bread — the cheese tastes odd to me and there’s too much of it(I like cheese but man). Just give me bread and sauce and I’m good to go! Also — prices quite reasonable — for both slice and pie.

Service was the best part. I stopped in for some by the slice. No counter service so I sat down, a bit confused. I ordered 2 slices. The onions on the one we’re still raw and it was as though my toppings were put on after the fact and reheated shortly. It was not very fresh. The cheese slice was better. Asking for extra marinara sauce for dipping helped. I think that the whole pies are another story aaa they are made fresh upon ordering. Just not great for a quick slice grab.

I thought I’d give this restaurant a try on my lunch break. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken and asked for an extra roll. Below are the reasons I gave this restaurant 1 star. 1. When I placed the order the representative told me it would be 10 minutes. 23 minutes later, I received my salad. Yes, all I had was a salad! 2. When I arrived, it took about 4 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge I was standing there. I should have left then. They were all busy conversing with each other. 3. My total for a salad w/chicken and an extra roll was $ 11.39! This was ridiculously high. 4. Digressing from the service and on to the food… the dressing was cheap and funny-tasting. The rolls were cold and the portion was small, especially after paying $ 11.39. Maybe their pizza or pasta dishes are better but then again if you can mess up a salad…

The BEST Italian food in all of the D/FW area. Cannot be beat for taste, quality, portions or price, that amount you get at the price you pay would damn near be twice the price anywhere else. I always have leftovers and just as good as the first time. I usually get the Pasta Primo which is EXCELLENT, tonight I decided to try the lasagne… EXCELLENT, I go to NYC a lot and this is just as fantastic as my secret places in Little Italy. If you are going anywhere else in the area, you are paying way too much. B.Y.O.B.

Have you ever just stuffed your face with pizza so good — you just can’t stop eating it?!? If not, then you haven’t been to Joe’s. This place is a dangerous place for me. Not only do they have phenomenal pizza, the pasta is dang good too! Normally our pizza we pick up… but we’ve eaten in at times and have never had an issue with service. Our favorite guy, Anthony(pronounced: Ant-knee) is always happy to see us and makes an awesome pizza. I can’t say enough great things about this place!

If you get food to go check your order before you leave. !!!’ Second time here and our order had been incorrect both times. I ordered chicken marsala which came with a side of Angel hair pasta. I asked for the side of pasta to come with red sauce on it. I got it with the chicken marsala on top of the angel hair pasta no red sauce. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak with chips, we received a Philly with french fries The food is good however is it worth it if you never getting what you asked for?

Great New York style pizzas. Unfortunately, their service is New York style as well. I’ve always received a cold, unfriendly vibe from the staff here and I hate it. It’s the food and the food only that keeps me coming back occasionally. And forget about delivery– you’d be more successful delivering a grand piano on a unicycle than relying on Joes to deliver your pizza. I live 5 mins from here and they either take way too long(always longer than their estimated time) or they get the wrong order. Luckily, I live close enough where I’ve learned to just do carry out. If they fixed their delivery and had a more friendly staff, this place would be the best pizza joint in Plano. At least they have the food going for them– the pizza is excellent.

This is a weekly GOTO! Delicious and especially hot food! The lunch specials are to die for, for just $ 5.99 and that includes your choice of salad PLUS outstanding garlic rolls(free refills). I have ordered the Joes Combination and it rocks with three cheesy entrée’s in one massive and VERYHOT bowl. Any of the calzones and strombolis are big enough for two meals! And who can resist a totally loaded slice of Joes famous special pizza by the slice at a mere $ 1.75. One slice alone covers a dinner plate! What sets this place apart is the SERVICE! The managers are a DELIGHT and always check in with you to see if you are happy and they RECOGNIZE you! You always feels welcomed and appreciated here!
