Shop Jos. A. Bank Plano, located at 6121 W. Park Boulevard, Space B220, for the best selection of men’s clothing, including men’s suits, sportswear, shoes, and accessories.
First of all, the same clothes can be bought at other Jos A Banks and they are not bad wrt selection. Then again many other mens stores exist and do a better job at getting the clothes in store and to you. So now for the review: This store is managed poorly and this based on my experience. I bought about $ 700 in clothes in a sitting and then wanted a pair of shorts for the summer. I bought one pair and then wanted another but they didn’t have the color I wanted in my size so I ordered after being told it would be 3 – 5 days to arrive. Now, 7 weeks later, no shorts and every time I go there or call, I’m told it will be next Monday. Basically, lie to my face every time. Finally, I bought two pair of work trousers well over the $ 200 mark per pair. They need alterations, so I went ahead and paid their over inflated in store price for convenience. Went to work out of town that week and lo and behold, the same two trousers measured the same day by the same person came back 1.5″ shorter than the other. What?! I could go on about the service or the lies, needless to say I wont be shopping there any more.

First, let me say that my experience at the Preston/Park location was horrible. I needed a suit for a wedding. The jacket had to be ordered because they did not have it in stock. It came in days before the wedding. They had ordered a 44 long. All of my other suits are 42 regular. I tried on the jacket when I got home. It was huge! I returned the next day to exchange it. The response: «that fits perfect.» Really? Am I supposed to look like a kid wearing his dad’s jacket? They would not help me.(probably because they would not receive a commission on the exchange). I immediately went to the Willow Bend location. The store manager, Roger Van Houten, was immediately ready to help and agreed that the jacket was way too big. He found me the right size and instructed the tailor to go to work right away because the wedding was the next day. That is the service I wanted in the first place. In summary, if you want quality service, go to the shops at Willow Bend. The salesmen at the Preston/Park location are terrible and try to up sale at every opportunity.

On my recent visit to Jos. A Bank in Plano, I had Joseph as my assistant to help me purchase pants and shirts to replace pants and shirts I am retiring because they are 10 years old and it is time. Joseph made sure I got the right size and the right fit for the pants. He was very patient as I looked through all the colors of slacks that they had until I selected the ones that were best for me. I tried on everything, the clothes look and feel like good quality garments, to boot I also found that they would honor the on-line price for my purchase. SCORE! They sell good quality clothing at a good price with their frequent sales. Good service to boot.

I had to go get myself a black suit yesterday for an upcoming funeral. The folks at Jos A. Bank were super helpful, even understood my haste and knocked out my alterations the same day. I admittedly paid more than I’d wanted for the suit but it’s good quality and came with excellent customer service.
