I have enjoyed the ability to go to kid to kid and purchase items for my fast growing children for 2.5 years now. The reasons being, the items were priced good and in really good shape. The past 2 times I went to the Plano location, the items were priced much higher and were very shabby. Shirts with stains, material that was all beaded up… One stained item was $ 6.99. When talking about how ratty the items were the man let me know he was the new owner and told me he could knock the item down to $ 2.99. REALLY?! You just told me that your buyer should have never bought it and it should never have been on the rack?! Needless to say, the past few experiences have made it feel REALLY second hand and I won’t be going back. Old Navy is pretty cheap, too.

I’ll repeat what other have already said… have a garage sale, you’ll get more money that way. Donate to salvation army, you’ll get a bigger tax write off that way. Give clothes to relatives/friends you’ll feel better that way. Do anything but sell your stuff to this store who will buy it for a whole lot less than you’ll want to sell it for and utterly ruin your day. I only sell them things i wouldn’t be bothered to do anything else with and thats a very, very small list of VERYUSED clothes and kid stuff. i’m assuming others sell their clothes here for the same reason so i don’t buy stuff here… too many sales all over of brand new clothing to justify buying used ones for the same prices… so i have no comment on the buying experience.

Well… Its my first time been there. And I will never go back ! If you just get like .50 $ for each clothes(most of them are brand new) I would rather donate them. Staffs are friendly though… and weird thing is, they take most of brands but not gerber!?

These people are criminal! They told me to preapprove for cash or store credit but what they didn’t tell me is they were going to give me next to nothing for practically brand new items that I took to sell. When I wanted to take all of my things back for a different way to sell(I know I could get more than $ 9 for 4 pairs of brand name maternity jeans in a garage sale) I was told my items had already been tagged and my only option was to take store credit or cash. I understand that I preapproved for cash but not to be raked over the coals in the process. Be very cautious here! I would advice swap shop or a good old fashioned yard sale!

Again we found terrific deals on quality items, and they even bought my entire box of stuff I brought in to sell. Great customer service as they helped me try-on a Moby Wrap :) Good improvement and nice smiles with prompt service, did I mention the cute stuff? :)

The Frisco store is under same ownership and I suggest you stay away. Look for sales at Kohls or Carter’s or Target thats what I will do in future. The store was neat and pretty well organized but I loathe the store return policy. Disappointed in customer service and store policy. First time in here and no plans to visit these stores again. Store policy is if it final sale can’t be returned however being my girst time in I got items that should have been big on my 6 month old for summer 12mo size and the shoulders were too tight. The store would not allow return because of final mark down. even when you return items your option is store credit only.

Staff is very rude! They are super picky about what they buy and don’t give you much back at all. The past few times I’ve been in racks have been empty and I know it’s because people are fed up with their attitudes and tired of everything they bring in getting sent right back.

I’ve been here to shop and no one wants to check you out. I’ve been here to sell and they are rude and inconsiderate. I had my clothes folded neatly in bins, exactly like they ask, but they just throw them back in the bins if they don’t want them. It’s like torture to get them to say a few words. My gosh, I’m done with this store. I’d rather give my clothes to the Salvation Army.

I stopped in to see what baby boy things they had. Employees could not be bothered to check me out. Looked right at me as I’m standing at counter with items — walked off to work on computer. I put the stuff back and left as did another grandmother. One employee was doing inventory and the male employee was at risk of dying from slowness. Nobody ever acknowledged my presence. There are tons of consignment and thrift shops in DFW — check them out.

Bad customer service… I use to be a high school student a few years ago, so that’s not excuse for these kids poor service. It’ was more then dirty blonde with the North Face jacket. She wasn’t only rude to me but other buyers too. I brought my clothes in to sell… First off no help getting in the door and I had a lot of bags, and it seams they just don’t train the kids who work at this location. They didn’t listen to me and after the rude dirty blonde(That’s her name since she wouldn’t tell me her name) one who did the price buy system, I asked her what the total was… It was a joke for ALL new clothes that were NEVER used. I asked them to put the clothes back in the bags and the rude dirty blonde just threw them back in there. I brought them in folded and in order and she just threw them in. I commented on this 3 times as she was doing this. I was so pissed I was ready to snap at her. The Manager wasn’t there. She was also rude to the other people in the store too. The other 2 kids there seamed they were being trained, they were nice but didn’t really know the job. The dirty blonde didn’t seam to care to be there. If you hate the job quit it and let someone else who can do it right take the job. This girl should be fired or at least repeat high school and learn something. I wouldn’t sell or buy here ever again. I went to another store and had better service and price offered. I also called the main company in Utah to report this girl. I would never let a girl like this work in my store.

Happy with this location. There is a nice variety– clothes, toys, shoes, and baby stuff galore! There is a small area for kids to play while mom shops! Prices seem reasonable and store is clean. Staff has been friendly each time I visit. I would give this place 5 stars if there was more of a «boy» stock. Planning on selling the items I don’t have the time to garage sale. Better than finding more closet space. Hopefully they offer a fair price but after reading reviews I am a little hesitant.

Can sometimes be an ok place to buy, some finds and pretty reasonable prices. Bad place to sell, they want your stuff for free. We decided we’d get more out of giving our items away to friends than giving them away here. The staff could stand some customer service training. Poor return policy. We bought some brand new headbands and bows here that our daughter did not like. We came back within the week but they refused to take the return. My wife refuses to go back.

Good place to buy — particularly if you are on their email list and get coupons, but don’t sell there. They gave me pennies on the dollar for things worn once or never.

You know, it never made sense to me to spend tons of money on great kids clothes. It seems that Kid to Kid thinks the same thing. Honestly, we buy our 3 year old THE cutest clothes, but in a month, they are too small. Then I get sad because I do not want to give them up! Kid to Kid has clothes in great condition and even lots of brand name clothes. It was a pleasant surprise. The best part is, I will probably be taking these clothes back in a few months to sell back! It’s a fabulous idea and the clothes are in awesome shape. I’m very happy to have them near my house!!!
