Lone Star Mobile Mechanics

My vehicle broke down on 3−13−16 by Love Field in Dallas, TX. Googled Mobile Mechanics and found this number. Called and they scheduled a Mechanic to come out. I told them on the phone I was having a fuel issue. Wait time was 1 hr. The Mechanic showed up on time. Told him what I thought was wrong which was the fuel pump/​filter or the Throttle Position Sensor. He said he would take a look. After about 1.5 hours of trouble shooting he said he THOUGHT it was the fuel pump or filter. But he said he didn’t have the right tools to do the job. (Who sends a mechanic without the proper tools?) he said they would come look at it the next morning at 8:30 am. He said I owed him $ 80 for the diagnosis. What diagnosis? HE wasn’t even sure what the problem was. I waited till 12pm the next day and hadn’t heard anything back. I called and he said he was busy and it wouldn’t be until Friday to come look at it. (They came and looked at it on a Sunday.) he told me he can’t keep track of every person that calls and sorry for the inconvenience. I asked for my money back because for 1. They never even did a thorough diagnosis and came to the conclusion what the problem was and 2. They never even called me to tell me they weren’t coming. He said he’ll give me 50% off my next visit. Lol well… you’re not very professional and you scammed me out of my $ 80. Please people if you want a professional PLEASE DONT CALL THESE GUYS!!! this is my very 1^st
review EVER don’t like doing this but these people need to be called out for ripping people off.
