EXCELLENT place! The food is fresh and fast, and very generous portions. You order at the counter and retrieve your food by a number they give you when you pay. The lady that takes the orders is fast and has a great memory — she recalls my customized vegetable dish requests even when it has been a while since I returned. GREAT fast place for lunch.

Been stopping in here regularly for 6 or 8 years. Great food at a VERY reasonable price. If you’re hoity toity and must have the sterile environment of an operating room for your dining experience, don’t bother because it’s not the most up-to-date décor but it is clean.

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now, and this place is pretty great. The owners are very friendly and know my boyfriend and me by what we order. The portions are awesome for the value, and there are daily specials. If you’re not up for fried chicken, like the House Chicken or Sesame Chicken(both delicious), I recommend the Mongolian Chicken, as it’s stir fried. The cream cheese wontons are great, too.

Been coming here for a few months now, pretty much 1 – 2 times a week. The food comes out SUPER fast and is great for lunch hour. I usually get Beef & Broccoli, Hot & Sour Soup, and an Iced Tea and it’s only $ 8.50.

Come here regularly with coworkers, it’s not the prettiest, but the food is decent and fair price, plus you get lots of food. Had Combination Lomein nice noodle to meats ratio, tasty and spicy, PLUS! Samsung Pay works here, owners though they needed a new reader to take wireless payments, not so

Really good food. Love the wings and fried shrimp. Eat here all the time and the funny thing is their wings are better than most wing places. Wish they had a few more sauce options. Their Chinese food is really good too. Soups are huge and delicious.

Simple, cooked to order, great in or take out. You get plenty of food for the price.

Don’t be fooled by the affordable prices and unassuming storefront, the quality of food here is excellent and service is warm and helpful. We don’t really tend to go for the fried dishes with sticky sweet sauces, but the dishes with sautéed and steamed meats and vegetables were delicious. Can’t wait to go back for the house noodle soup!

Service was sub par. Walked in and the guy behind the counter just stared at me. Place kind of looks suspect I. Terms of cleanliness. I got sweet and sour shrimp and chicken fried rice. The food was average at best. They used dark meat for the chicken fried rice which was kind of weird. I prefer white meat that most other restaurants use for fried rice. And they don’t take Amex. Won’t be going back.

Stopped in and got take out while the wife waited in the car. Got sesame chicken, vegetable beef(no green peppers) and 2 egg rolls for 14.75. Generous portions, basic American-ized Chinese, I think the egg rolls only had cabbage in them but I didn’t mind, everything tasted good. Took 5 min for the food to be ready.

Great value. Our office is nearby so we often pick this up as it is fast, fresh and extremely hot when you get it. You get a HUGE portion of food for the lunch special which is under $ 5. All has been great and we have been going for about two years.

Walked in. It smelled kinda funny, like a thrift store sort of. Got help immediately. Ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice. And an egg roll. Chicken: pretty basic. Kind of a rubbery taste to it. Typically fast Chinese chicken taste. fried rice: not so good! Just kinda old tasting. Or not so fresh. I probably will still continue to look for a good hole in the wall Chinese restaurant, as this is not the one.

The place is clean restrooms clean the food is good and portions are good too the old décor doesn’t bother me cause it’s clean and the music it’s the local radio stations food is not salty or that generic Chinese. Places it’s not of a mom & pop place

Very friendly staff, large portions, and an obviously happy regular clientele. The Kung Pao dish I ordered needed more of the traditional marinade used for prepping this dish, and a much bigger presence of chili peppers which would have occurred via the marinade. It’s probably because the dishes are cooked with available ingredients on the fly during a rush of customers, that a dish such as this can’t benefit accordingly.

Unknown to most people that visit this hole in the wall, this chef can cook some legit Chinese food! All you have to do is ask him to recommend you something fresh and he will cook you a dish of his own choice. If you’re not feeling as adventurous and are just wanting some good old Americanized Chinese fast food, then this place is also the place to go!

I would give this place a lower rating but, because it’s not authentic Chinese food, I’ll be lenient. It’s just your average Chinese wok. Greasy, greasy food. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that thinks ALL the chicken tastes the same… everytime I came here on a lunch break is because I was literally forced. I’d probably never come here on my own or suggest the idea in the first place. The sweet & sour pork was okay wasn’t too bad, combination fried rice was pretty good, you know my opinion about the chicken but, the beef wasn’t as tender as I wanted. Master Wok is just okay in my book. I’ll settle with it but, I rather keep my options open.

We moved to DFW from the San Francisco area about a year ago and have been trying out different Chinese restaurants in the area in that time period. Haven’t found one as good as the best Chinese restaurants in SF yet but Master Wok is the best we’ve found here. It’s definitely a hole-in-the-wall but the food is way better(not to mention cheaper) than Mr. Wok down the street. It’s so nice getting fresh Chinese food cooked to order right out of a wok!

Nothing has changed since 2010. Oh, the price of the daily special went up $ 0.26. Big deal? No, the portion sizes didn’t shrink! Same great, fresh, generous servings of the best Chinese food I’ve eaten in the DFW area!

Master Wok is a cookie cutter Chinese lunch place. All the standard dishes, fried rice and lo mein section and pictures of the meals. The beef and chicken can be a bit rubbery but so are most of these type places. I hear the House Noodle soup is on the must have list. The sizes are huge and you can share or bring half home for dinner. I’d recommend Oriental Express just a few miles away

This is a no frills Chinese restaurant that has quite a following. The area is full of warehouses and offices so you have to get in early or late so that you can get the best service. I usually get the combo fried rice and there is a huge amount of chicken, beef, and shrimp. The portion for about $ 6 is enough for 2 normal adults or one guy that might eat like«shrek» When you add a drink then your whole meal is about $ 8. with tax. They have several different daily specials that are also generous portions for less than $ 5. If you are in the area then definitely stop in and get a good meal for just a little $.
