Went there today at 11:10 they still weren’t open. Even though they claim to be open at 11:00 and there were people behind the counter, the front doors were locked. The people inside just looked at us at the door and ignored us. Won’t try them again.

This place is excellent for what it is. I didn’t want to go here at first because I’m not a fan of traditional fast food and I thought it would taste like that. I was wrong. The burgers are great and the fries are even better! Everything is cooked right there in front of you and they have options when it comes to buns, meats and fry selection. It’s nice and clean too! And, the best part is they are fast.

Until we get a Johnny Rockets, this is probably the best burger in Plano. The french fries here are done perfectly,(especially if you order them well done). The service is friendly and fast. The place is clean and open late. When there isn’t a game on, you can often find Fox News on one of the TVs. Excellent idea considering the voting patterns in this neighborhood. The music is usually good here. My preferences is for Rock ‘n Roll oldies from the 50s and 60s but occasionally you will hear Country and Western also. And the music is not too loud, it will not give you a migraine. I would prefer this restaurant if they had table service. However, the servers there are good at checking on your meal. About my only suggestion for improvement would be to offer, «Coney Islands» like the kind they sell in Houston and Detroit. A Coney Island is similar to a chili dog only much better.

MOOYAH? Heck yeah!!! Q: Jeff, you just gave a chain burger joint 5-Stars. Did you accidentally push the wrong button? A: No. These burgers are legit. They’re like 6 ½ star burgers grilled with fresh(not frozen) beef, fresh cut crispy fries, fresh baked buns and fresh toppings all assembled in any combination YOU think makes the perfect burger. The service is great too. Friendly and engaging staff who really seem to care that your burger is awesome. Also REAL milkshakes. After deducting a star and a half for the décor, they score a very respectable 5 star rating. Q: How does MOOYAH compare to other burger joints? A: The burgers at 5 Guys, Jakes, Keller’s and In-N-Out are all good, but MOOYAH’S are much better *and* their fries destroy the competition. Steak and Shake can’t compete on either burgers or fries, but their milkshakes are better than MOOYAH’S(but they come in 2nd). I purposely left SmashBurger off the list becuase they are awful. Don’t eat there. Q: Jeff, you seem like you know a lot about burgers. Can I name my next child after you? A: Only if it’s a boy.

MOOYAH Burger get’s a 5-star from me! My wife and I come here regularly and I don’t typically give 5 stars but here is my reasoning: Great Food — The food is always good fresh, fast and super good. The staff will do whatever you need to make it the way you want it. Ton’s of great creative options and you’ll have no problem curing your burger craving and shake craving for that matter. Clean — The restaurant is clean and orderly, never a mess, tables are wiped and floor is clean. Back area by the grill is clean and the cooking area is clean. Great Price — Price is good on all the items Fast — Food will come out fast and the staff even brings it to your table. We usually get a shake and we can tell the staff to bring it after we’re done eating and they have no problem accommodating. Kid friendly — we bring in our 6 month old daughter staff will ask and bring us a high chair that we can use to seat her if we need. It’s got enough space and isn’t loud inside. Service — The service is excellent. They are all nice and they come around and take your tray and bring you whatever. All very courteous and professional.

Ordered a salad and asked for no mushrooms, but there were mushrooms in it. When I told them I asked for no mushrooms, they took it back behind the counter and picked off the mushrooms. They brought it back and asked if I was allergic to mushrooms. I didn’t know why they were asking so I told them no — I just don’t like them. My salad was still filled with mushrooms that were at the bottom that they missed. When I asked again if I could get a new one, they told me that they couldn’t do that. Bad food and bad service. Will never eat here again.

I am what you might call a French fry connoisseur, and the fries here are among the best. Seasoned to perfection, always hot and fresh. The serving size container is only a suggestion; their generosity with sharing these wonderful potatoes is truly admirable. The smallest size is plenty for two people, not that I share any. A bag of pure bliss. The burgers are quite good too. You can watch them create your burger right in front of you, so you know it’s fresh. Be warned though, if you order to go, the buns can become saturated in grease.

Well worth it on a Monday night. Half off burgers on Mondays after 5pm. Get solid fresh awesome burgers for damn near micky d’s prices on Mondays. FRIESAREAWESOME. Cooked without peeling the skins off plus they have malt vinegar avail as a condiment. Never paying ripoff prices for burgers from five guys again.

Went there for lunch today and I have to say they were pretty good. About the second cost as most sit down dining lunch places and there were alot of ingredients to choose from. I had great customer service and they even brought the food out to me. Definitely will be back.

The food here is really good, however the service was not that good. I had my order messed up twice after ordering online and had to wait while they made the food again. Also, the workers here seem like they hate there jobs. They kind of moped around the entire time and seemed totally out of it. I now go to the MooYah on Coit in Richardson instead strictly because I just don’t like the service.

This Mooyah is located right across the street from my job so on busy days a couple of my co-workers and I head across the street for a quick bite to eat. I have always been a fan of the burgers because you are able to load them up with all kinds of toppings at no extra charge. I usually order a Double Mooyah Burger with Cheese. I get lettuce, mushrooms and fried onion strings with Ketchup, Mayo and Spicy Ranch. It is quite delicious! It feels more like a fast food style burger than a burger at a restaurant but it is priced the same as a burger from a restaurant. This would be the only downfall to this place for me. The combo meal comes with a bunch of fries, no need to upsize or anything like that. The guy who manages this place is a really nice guy who seems to be very hard working. For dessert I love the cookie dough shake.

Not a terrible burger but not my fav. Our church is right across the street so our church family and staff comes here a lot. Great people. Great staff. Great location. Ok burgers… (This last time I went was the best it has been). Manager is really kool. Sometimes you go places not because of the food but the people.

I am not quite sure what drives me to go to Mooyah over and over again. I really have no idea. Its definitely not the best burger place in town. Maybe its the convenience of where it is located compared to where I live, and the lack of other quality burger places nearby(atleast that I am aware of)? It is quite pricey as well as it costs $ 10 per person for a burger, fries and a drink. They do have ½ Price Burgers after 5pm on Mondays at the Plano location for the time being. That might help as long as you don’t order their fries or drinks as that will make your wallet hurt :) They do have good service and their cookies and cream shake is really good as well. I will probably continue going there until I find a better option. If you know of any better ones nearby, please do let me know. I will give them a 3.5 out of 5 stars!

So, my husband and I are foodies and we had yet to find a place in Plano where we could enjoy a good burger. This is our third trip in and Ramero has been making our burgers each time! He is the best ever, We watched him take care to give us the best quality burger, pour food was delicious and the service by everyone has made this the place to be!

This will be the last time I order from this mooyah. Do not order online and expect your food to be ready when they say it will. The last time I waited almost 15 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be ready and tonight I waited an extra 20 minutes! Unacceptable service… On top of the ridiculous wait, I got home and found that my order wasn’t even correct! What a waste of my time and money…

Mooyahs is great. Great burgers, fries and shakes. I eat the burger on ice — the lettuce wrap — good stuff. Turkey burger is very good as well. Mooyahs always gives you extra fries.
