So friendly and great job on everything! Super prices too which is a big bonus. My friend and I love coming here and they take excellent care of us! :) :)

I came here on a Tuesday afternoon, needing to get my nails done quickly. I had shellac taken off and a new set done in about 40 minutes, which was a little longer than I thought it would be. In addition, my finger started bleeding when I was getting my cuticles pushed back and she didn’t cover my entire nail on some nails. The biggest thing is that the sign outside says the place is 100% sanitized, but I didn’t see any sanitization machines, and she took all of her tools straight out of her desk. Some of the tools were even rusty. The price($ 25) is pretty reasonable for the service, but it’s gross that they don’t sanitize their tools.

I was just there today and I believe Kim was the name of the lady who did my pedicure. She was really nice and did a great job! She was very thorough. I would highly recommend this place. Price was very reasonable. :)

My pedi by Baby was awesome! My gel mani by the male owner is the opposite. A few days after, regular pedi are still beautiful but GEL mani are already chipped.

I’m new to getting my nails done, and I’ve never had a mani-pedi. After reading their reviews and seeing how close they were to my house, I had to try them out. I opted for the basic mani-pedi. I was so happy during the entire experience. This place is super friendly, clean, and organized. I paid $ 30(before tip) and will definitely start making this a twice a month kinda thing! If you’re looking for an affordable, awesome nail salon in Plano, THISISIT!

I know people who will ignore reviews if there aren’t photos. However, I like a plain basic manicure — neutral polish and all — so I don’t think a photo adds much to the review. Nice Nails is just that: Nice. The family that owns it is nice and friendly, they are quick in their work and easy to talk to. Plus they pick up on your nonverbals when you’d rather just sit and be quiet. A basic manicure — no polish to remove, clean up cuticles, shape and polish — is $ 12. That’s a great deal, particularly when I can take off my own polish at home. And honestly, I rarely get manicures. I go in when my cuticles are embarrassing because they do a better job than I do. I took my 11-yr-old niece in this summer for a polish just before I put her on the plane back home to her folks. They did great nail art and made her feel like a rock star. I should give extra stars just for that. It’s not a 5-star place only because it’s not super-luxe and fancy inside. It’s a mom and pop shop and there’s nothing wrong with that. I just didn’t want any review readers to walk in expecting the Red Door Salon. By the way, I’m a mom and pop shop all the way — give me great service, friendly people, quality product at a great price and I’ll come back all the time.

Thanks to Unilocal,I found this hidden nail salon. I called and set an appointment for 2, and we were able to get in quick. It is located behind the 7⁄11 off spring creek and custer. The nail salon was clean, and the workers were friendly. We got the deuluxe pedicure which included the sea salt scrub and mud for $ 25. It’s $ 5 more for parafin wax and hot stone. They took their time, and the foot massage was great. I’ll come back when I’m in the area.

I have always had a tough time finding a salon I like since the one I used to go to closed down. Well, I have finally stopped looking! It doesn’t have the feel of a day spa, but the staff is extremely friendly and talented. My biggest concern with places where I get mani/pedi’s are the sanitary conditions. This place is über clean! I love that they use an autoclave to sterilise all the tools that your feet touch so that there can’t be anything growing for the next customer. Yay for being environmentally friendly and sterile. :) The last time I got a pedicure here, my feet looked flip-flop adorable for weeks! No seriously, the nail Polish was completely chip-free! If you’re feeling adventurous, ask for a flower. Guaranteed to get you compliments all the time.

I recently relocated to West Plano(from Orlando, FL) and finding a nail salon/nail tech has proved to be quite challenging. I’ve been in Plano for nearly 3 weeks and had a less than favorable experience with the first nail salon I went to :(. They were pricey and my nail fill was of poor quality(I had two broken/chipped nails within the first week). This time I opted to go online and do some research of nail salons that are inexpensive but of high QUALITY. Nice Nails and Spa was within 10 miles of me and received good reviews of great service. Well, I received just that. The salon was very clean and I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly hello. I’m a woman of presentation and I received stellar customer service, a clean salon, and very nice fill and wax! Tracy was the nail tech who did my fill and eyebrow wax and I left extremely satisfied. I am already checking my schedule for my next appointment :). I plan to make her my permanent nail tech now going forward. Yay!!! Whew! *wipes forehead*

BEWARE: I’m updating my review after my 2nd visit. While I was getting my toe nails painted I watch an employee wash the tools with hand soap and a nail brush. Then she dried them off and put them in the packaging to be used on a customer. NOSTERILIZATION!!! I will not be back. If I could 0 stars I would.

I had so much hope for the place until I actually started getting my nails done. First, it annoys me when the nail technicians don’t fill the tip of my nails up and they start peeling from your fingertip. He did just that. And then when he’s done he starts to file my nails. I thought that’s kind of weird because now the polish that seals the tip of my nail is gone, please stop! When he’s finally done he told me to check the finished nails and to my dismay the color doesn’t look even. I told the technician and he realized too and said he’ll redo them. But instead of removing the base coat, 2 layers of color, and the top coat, he paints another layer of color and top coat on, and by now my finished nails look like ultra fake acrylic nails, God forbid they even raise from my nails a bit! At this point I’m too lazy to say anything and just left. This happened 4 days ago and b/c of the amount of polish caked on my nails I think it’s too heavy so they started to crack from my cuticle already. I’m so sad that I’m the one getting the bad egg b/c the rest of you are evidently receiving stellar manicure from them. But since there’re so many nail salons out there, I’m pretty sure I won’t be coming back here.

I’m fairly picky with my nails and with service. I didn’t have an appointment and they took me anyway and did a manicure with gel and pedicure(deluxe) with an amazing design AND a brow wax in a little less than an hour! The shop is not what I would call fancy or upscale exactly, but they were all polite and quick. Overall, I thought their prices were fair, service was amazing, OOOh and another important thing… they sterilize their equipment via autoclave. I also agree with previous post — french gel manicure is great!

I got a mani/pedi here. Both ladies were very nice. The lady who did my toes did a fantastic job! My pedicure has lasted a good 3 weeks. The lady who did my fingers did a good job on everything but the polish and the clipping of cuticles.(Isn’t that the best part of it?) I got a french manicure and I’m sad to say that all of the clear and pink polish started to peel off just days after I got the service. Very disappointing. I was too busy to go back and ask them to fix it. I will not be going back here.

Excellent job. I loved the french gel nails. Their techniques are very professional. Some places cut the skin around the nails which really bothers and they poke my skin when cutting my cuticles. This place is so gentle and gets the job done so well. I loved the pedicure too.

Just left here from getting a pedicure. Now from the time I got the last pedicure, my nails still looked like I just got them done! Great customer service and comfortable seating w/massage chairs. :)
