To note: Nice little fly fishing store! This store has a large number of clothing vs fly fishing equipment.
Now, before I entered this Orvis store the prior Unilocal review was point on with his statement: «They greet you as you enter.» That was so true until this nice female employee came over to double check on me, after I had been there for a while. Come to find out she was the new store manager brought in to help out with the customer service and the direction of this store. She also spoke of how they were bringing in more hunting clothing.
The store is well laid out. They have a computer station, where a person can go over and order, change an order or see what else in on the Orris website. Over near this station they have a number of their catalogs.
I like the high end fly fishing DVD that was playing. The store a some real in depth fly fishing books and DVD for sale.
I am looking forward to coming back!

When you walk in the door, they say hello. That’s all the interaction I had during my 20 min in the Orvis in Plano. I am looking to learn about fly fishing so I went to Orvis. They have a small selection of fishing gear and tackle. I stood around and looked at the different flies and poles and no one came over to help me at all. I’m disappointed because I heard this was a nice shop. The guys at Bass Pro Shop are Way more helpful.
