Petco

I dropped my dog off at the grooming salon and it took them 6 hours before I was able to pick her up. Gertie (the store spells it «Gertiy») is a 5lb, long hair Chihuahua.
I understand that they may be busy, however, I can’t understand waiting for 6 hours knowing that they do not take the animals out for «potty breaks» and getting her back in the condition that she was in. I could have ran clippers over her, NOT trimmed her nails, NOT trimmed her tail and NOT blended her «mane» into the rest of her fur FOR FREE. For $ 50.88, I expect all of those things to be done. I had to request the associate to trim the tail (as previously requested when I dropped her off) and her «mane» (also previously requested) and she still did a terrible job. When I saw how stressed Gertie was with the muzzle and having to be in a cage for 6 hours AND not able to relieve herself in SIX HOURS, I decided to take her as is, so that I wouldn’t prolong her misery any further.
We will never take her back there or to any Petco for grooming. The associates are under qualified and the service is overpriced.

Please get rid of the unhappy Hispanic girl and creepy white guy that work noon/​evening shifts. They’re always too busy to help customers. I usually spend $ 200 a month on dog food at this location, and it’s very convenient. However, the bad attitudes make the shopping experience stressful.

This is a small Petco but I was very pleasantly surprised by the selection they had! Tons of little gourmet style dog treats for good prices, when looking for little stocking stuffers for the pups these worked perfectly. They didn’t have a large selection of non-​food things though and I figure that’s because it’s a smaller store.
Just as a note the customer service here was phenomenal and I was happy with the fact that we had someone come up to us in the store a few times to offer to help us find something and the cashier was very sweet too! Great location!

I love this location, and this is the store I go to always when I need to get something for my pet. The staff is very friendly, and if you are a new pet owner, they offer plenty of advice and suggestions. Make sure to get the Petco card because for every certain amount of purchase on dog or cat food, you get one for free! And if you venture around the store, you will find sales!!!

Store doesn’t exist! Directions take you to the middle of the construction on Woodall-​Rogers, actually to turn left onto an overpass that doesn’t exist. Nice. Not.

After a couple of trips to PetsMart near my home, I decided to go check out PetCo.
PetCo has better selection of specialty foods for pets who have allergies or sensitivities. Beasley doesn’t have any skin allergies that I know of, but since he is a Lhasa by breed, and by experience with 3 other Lhasas, I decided it was better to not find out.
The employees have been extremely helpful and I enjoy going to this store, even if I am just running in for a bag of food and don’t have time to actually shop around.
I also love that every 11^th bag of food is free. Free is always in the budget.
