I dont know why they even have a Groupon deal. You cant even get an appointment in… let alone get them to answer the phone. I had to leave a million messages and I was able to get her to call me back twice. Then she told me I couldnt redeem my Groupon since it expires in 2 days after the expiration date. She offered for me to use the value of the Groupon towards other things. I was like why would I do that if I cant get a hold of you now? I am in the process of getting in touch of Groupon about this and hopefully getting some kind of refund. Unless you have tons of free time to call an answering machine… then go and buy the groupon. Its not worth it to me and I will find another place to get a body wrap.

I would love to rate Plano Body Wrap Shop products and services, but I can’t because I never got passed their terrible service. I needed an airbrush tan and body wrap for a trip to the Bahamas. I called several times a day for 5 days straight, and never got a return call. I also filled out a request form on their website, and did not recieve a call or email. On the fifth day and fourth call, someone picked up, told me they were booked and could not suggest another place for me. She was really short, and had no answer or apology. To sum up, don’t bother. I’ve since found a wonderful airbrush tanning service at Eco Spa and Salon in Plano, they also offer mobile tanning services and the service was excellent.

My only complaint is that they will never answer their phone, I tried for a week to get an appointment so I could use my Groupon. I was in the neighborhood so I just went by and made the appointment in person. The person I made the appointment with seemed confused as to why I was there just to make an appointment and asked why did I not just call. o_O If they are not going to answer the phone for appointments, they should at least invest in an online appointment scheduling service. Once you get in the door, the experience is great. Ambiance is not the greatest. More like a doctor’s office than a spa like other reviewers have stated. Rooms for the wraps are private and they have a selection of movies that they will put in a dvd for you while you lay there sweating. I loved the results.

My experience at the Plano Body Wrap Shop was excellent. I was well accommodated by Jasmine who was very helpful. I am looking forward to returning for a power wrap!

Stay away is the best advice I can offer. I needed just a touch of color so I wasn’t quite so stark from winter. I arrived and was told about 7 times how this place has been in business for over 10 years. I had requested on the phone the lightest spray tan they do. I also reemphasized that to the person who sprayed me. Not only was the spray extremely dark and fake, it was worse than going and letting a machine spray you. My wrists, ankles, in between fingers, all were terrible and so fake it was totally embarrassing. I called the following day to ask the quickest way to remove this tan, and the person told me to scrub with exfoliators. Really? I continued to ask what else can remove this and it was a really bad experience. She offered nothing but an «i’m sorry». That’s it – your sorry? It was awful. Splotchy and some of the spots that looked like drips didn’t come off for a few days. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. Stay far away!!!

After years of seeing ads for this place I finally decided to give it a try. Reviews seemed mixed. It’s early March and I have a few more lbs to lose to get beach ready, I decided to risk it. I have been eating great, exercising and I’m almost there. If this wrap could get me just even a little toned and tighter I was all in. For the same price as I would pay for a trip to the spa for a massage, why not? Located near the back of a doctor office complex it was a little hard to find. There are 2 different wraps they do and they also offer spray tans. I am reviewing the Power Wrap only. The staff was very nice, polite and professional. I did not feel uncomfortable. I want to stress that the gal who took care of me was wonderful. Just note: This place is NOT spa like at all. Better than a sterile Doctor office but no Zen here. I was wrapped tight like a mummy, wet mineral solution was poured over my body. I was covered in a plastic sheet to keep me warm and for modesty. As after the wrap you are placed in a room with many others to view a movie while walking on an eliptical type machine. I was periodically squirted down. They keep the room warm so you dont get a chill. I was alone on this day but of others had been there I really would have been uncomfortable with strangers. I felt good after, good to be getting out of there. I wont be back. Not for me. She measured me before and after and gave me a hand out that was hard to decipher. Well I came in my skinny jeans and they felt the same when I left. My own am measurements were exactly the same as when I returned to the house. I might have been a lb lighter the next day but the day after I was exactly the same. That happens naturally– so big deal. I was honestly too embarrassed to tell my husband that I even went and did this. I kind of feel stupid. I should have stuck with my original plan go to my favorite spa for an an exfoiliating scrub/wrap and massage. At least I would have enjoyed the morning and left with glowing skin. I hoped to write a very different review. I hoped I would be Face booking all my friends to tell them my latest Beauty FIND!!! Nay! Not a FAN. Just stamp my head with IDIOT.

I wouldn’t ever go back. I purchased a Groupon deal for two body wraps. First one was fine. On the second one Plano Body Wrap contacted me to reschedule a later time and when I couldn’t make the new time I called and asked if it was okay to reschedule all was said was okay when would you like to reschedule. When I arrived to the appointment I was told I didn’t have anymore wraps because my second one was counted since I was a no show and I was told that I should of known that when I signed the papers in there policy of a 24hr cancellation. Even though they reschedule the time on me less then 24 hrs, and I did try to accommodate them. She emailed the manager and she still said no. It would of been nice for them to mention any of this on any of the conversations we had before making a 40min. drive there. Very disappointed!

I was referred here by my little sister for an airbrush tan and LOVED it. I had previously done the sunless tanning in the booth at Planet Tan and didn’t like it. I had weird marks on my wrist and ankles that were spotty. The airbrush tan is no more expensive(only $ 35) than the booth at Planet Tan but looked INFINITELY better. It may be a little awkward for those who are uncomfortable being naked in front of others, but I am not a very modest person so I was fine with getting undressed inside an area partitioned off by curtains and having the girl up in my space spraying everything so the tan is even. Beautiful results that lasted for 4 days or so. Got a lot of compliments and the pictures looked awesome. Side note– they have lots of other services, but I haven’t personally tried them. I’m sure they are great though!
