Apparently my wife and daughter are not allowed to live in a two bedroom, as management cited this goes against the «Fair Housing Act». I’ve never heard of such a thing. I would understand if I was trying to cram 3 kids in one bedroom, but no, just me, my wife and daughter. We are relocating from San Antonio, and were very displeased and shocked to be treated like this by Kayla and the management from Post Legacy. This was not my idea of what Plano was like and hope we can find a suitable luxury apartment without the ridiculous rules so called «enforced» by Post Legacy. We will be speaking to their corporate office and on up. Disappointed, upset and flabbergasted.

My brother is looking for a place to live and we were investigating the options of locations and apartment features. This place is clean with nice decorum. Not too far from Mckinney so location is nice.

Update — March 3, 2016 — drunks in pool area. I am going to update this every night until it stops. I now have to ask them to quiet down myself since the police aren’t helping.
Update on March 1, 2016 — It is 1:00 a.m. and I am awake because there are drunk people in the common area adjacent to the pool; again. This is a constant issue. I called Post Legacy to submit a complaint and I called Plano Police twice. A police officer did show up and when I heard him talking to them I looked out my window and saw him repeatedly pointing directly at my apartment, which makes me feel very unsafe. After 3 phone calls and 2 visits from police, guess what? The drunk people are still in the common area. I don’t feel safe or comfortable here.
Original Review: «Courtesy» officer will not respond to noise complaints. Drunk people at pool will keep you awake at night. I’ve had to call Plano police twice because of no response from «courtesy» officer. This is miserable.

Worst customer service I have had in Dfw apartments. In 4 months of living here, my car was broken into in the parking garage and a pipe burst that sprayed into my apartment ruining my valuables. Things happen that are out of your control, I get that, but how the staff failed to inform me of the pipe bursting incident via email, call, or note is unacceptable for any resident. They came into my apartment and tossed my soaked work items into the sink. I came home to an absolute war zone; no note, no call, no email, nothing. This has been a terrible experience and I wish this on no one.

Love love living here! Anytime we have had a problem, it’s been addressed. Secure garage parking for all renters available. Urban atmosphere, the walkability to shopping and restaurants along with convenient access to North Dallas Tollway makes this a great place to be. The lack of a 5th star is for no control over the smokers and noisy neighbors.

People drinking on the property and becoming so drunk that they become aggressive and twice in a short amount of time, we’ve had to deal with aggressive drunks that are also residents. Loud and rowdy and out of control.

I’ve lived at Post Legacy for about 3 years and overall it’s been great. I have a 2 bedroom apartment with a big balcony overlooking the pool. Maintenance is wonderful and the office is friendly. All the apartment complexes around Shops at Legacy are expensive, but it is worth it if you like the convenience of an easy walk to bars and restaurants. There are also community events here. It is a lovely neighborhood. On street parking is sometimes a hassle, but they do have a private parking garage.

I am too old for «apartment life» but being in this location is terrific. After a little life change surprise after 10 years and then spending 1 month with the folks (ouch), I arrived at Post Legacy. It is perfect for me based on what I need. I just really did not want the «uni-​apartment» floor plan. I guess being downtown living in San Francisco and Chicago impacted my decision. This is a loft/​open floor plan with concrete floors. For me, this saves a ton of stress when my little guy visits. After 10 years, of white carpet and the every changing stains, i never worry about the spills. The pricing is probably a little high but being at this location is fun. I have been really surprised how quiet it is here. Something you won’t know from the tour… if you are not a dog person… this would not be a good fit. I don’t have any pets but I think I am the only one. The service from the management company is great. They are very responsive.

This is just a review as someone who’s walked through the property.
They offered a loft-​style studio which had pretty cool hundred-​year-​old reclaimed wood flooring, and a nifty old (in a good way) feeling tile pattern in the bathroom. No garden tub unfortunately.
It was $ 780 I think for the loft and they were offering $ 100 off the first three months. The pool was kind of tiny. It was nice though. Had a cabana style courtyard feel to it.
It’s right next to the Shops of Legacy lake, and also fronts the bottom of Bishop which is the road that all the little shops of legacy are on. There’s a parking garage.
Seemed nice– just not what I needed at the time.
