Interestingly enough, I received a phone call from CVS yesterday evening about a prescription that they had in my name. It is not the correct medicine. I have yet to receive a phone call from Premier Healthcare.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Shadle’s since 2006, and have referred multiple family members and friends. In 2012, I became the Office Manager for the practice. In response to the reviewer who complained about Dr. Shadle canceling, unfortunately, physicians are humans too, and occasionally, emergencies arise. We offered an available opening with our Physician Assistant, which was refused. We make every effort to accommodate our patients because we value them greatly. There are always at least two perspectives for every story, but from ours, we certainly don’t feel deserving of a poor review in this instance, nor of the expletive filled tirade that was made upon this person’s exit from our office.

Dr. Jeffrey M. Shadle
I went to Dr Shadle’s office for my annual physical June 11 of 2015. I arrived at 10:45 a.m. for my 11:00 a.m. appointment. I scheduled this appointment three months prior to the actual date of the appointment and I reconfirmed the appointment on June 9^th on the Première Healthcare automated e-​mail I received. When I arrived at Dr Shadle’s office, the waiting room staff was downright rude to me. I asked where Dr. Shadle, was since I fasted for over 14 hours for this appointment. The response I received regarding his whereabouts was «He had stuff to do»
To Dr Shadle’s waiting room staff it was no big deal that I fasted for 14 hours prior to my appointment, they didn’t even try to get me to someone that could draw my blood. Dr Shadle’s staff did try to reschedule for two weeks later on June 25^th, but I indicated that I would be on vacation. This for an appointment I already scheduled three months prior to this date. The next available appointment according to their staff was six weeks out. I indicated to Dr Shadle’s staff that «I was firing Dr Shadle as my physician». I require a Doctor that actually takes his patients health seriously, not a doctor that «has other stuff to do».
I again asked for a real reason, Dr. Shadle, wasn’t in the office (I had just driven 45 minutes in traffic to his office). His staff reiterated that «He had stuff to do». The Premier Healthcare Staff further berated me for not having a cell phone (I do have a cell phone, however, I have provided my Work and Home Phone numbers, I would hope he would make a vigilant effort to contact me since they are canceling an appointment. Contact me on my work number during work hours and home phone during before 8 a.m. and after 5 p.m. hours).
I am vigilant about taking the required medication and always following my doctor’s guidelines regarding medication and making sure I attend all doctor’s appointments as scheduled.
In my entire life, I have never had a doctor or dentist or orthodontist or doctor of any kind, for that matter, cancel an appointment. Dr Shadle’s didn’t make a vigilant effort to notify me 24 hours before my appointment that, Dr. Shadle, wouldn’t be in the office,

Dr. Shadle & his staff have always been kind, caring & professional, and when you don’t feel good that’s important. Their new facilities are state of the art. Your not just another number here. After trying several other family practitioners I’ve finally found my health care home. So whenever you have a need for a family Dr. give them a try !
