First off these guys are honest, second, they do a good job the first time. I have taken two cars in for work. Both times I thought it was going to be a fortune. The first time they adjusted something and cleaned it. Runs like a dream.
The second time, I hear the power steering pump screaming on my wife’s (expensive) car. All I was thinking was a new pump and lots of $$$. The listened to it and told me they’d call in an hour. An hour later they said a clamp has come off the power steering hose. They put a new clamp and billed me $ 47. Most places would charge more than that just to make a diagnosis!

Woody and his crew IS the business y’all! Yay for honest mechanics! I’m so glad the Unilocal community came through on this one.
No one likes to pay exorbitant amounts of money to fix their vehicle, but when you have to, it helps to have honest, competent, and friendly people to deal with. I went in for an oil change at the stealership, um, I mean dealership and came back with issues. My car is nearing the 100k mile mark so it was somewhat expected, but still painful. I took the dealership’s recommendations to Premium Autoworks for a second opinion. Woody inspected my car and came back with a list of to-​dos. More than half of his recommendations aligned with the dealership’s but he also told me what was necessary and what wasn’t. His estimate saved me nearly $ 500. His quote was itemized and clear and he even took and drew pictures to explain what was going on with my car. Fantastic!!! Before I signed off to have them do the work, they gave me back my keys while they compiled their estimate and then gave me time to deliberate my options. My repairs only took a day.
Nearly a week later, my car is still driving like new. They work on both foreign and domestic cars. They will definitely get my business in the future.

The repairs were done within the timeframe quoted; with no surprises or unexpected charges. (In fact they saved me a little money by consolidating repairs .)
What I really appreciated, as a woman, is that Woody explained everything directly to me – without being condescending — even though my son-​in-​law was with me.
My Toyota is happy now and so am I.

I’ve taken three different cars to Premium AutoWorks and all times I’ve had a great experience. Woody is very professional and offers sound advice. He takes the time to explain the problem and how/​why the proposed fix will remedy situation. It’s taken me quite a bit of time to find a mechanic I can trust, and also has broad knowledge across domestic, foreign, new, and classic applications.
They will take the time to properly diagnose the issue. I had taken in a Honda Accord for what I thought was a strut replacement because of a rattle that occurred when driving over speed bumps. This was the dealers diagnosis, but I wanted a second opinion. Turns out the strut was fine, but I had 2 motor mounts that needed replaced. This proper diagnosis saved me thousands from unneeded repairs and wasted time.

Back in for some more service. Can’t speak highly enough about this place and how good it is to have a goto place for all my truck servicing needs.

Awesome company… You can trust Darryl and his team for all your car repairs… I met Darryl 5 years ago during a routine oil change and to check out the place on a referral from a friend. I asked for Darryl to inspect the breaks as my car had around 50k of mostly highway miles. (not a lot of stop&go traffic). He explained that i didn’t need new pads and stated that they may have an additional ¹⁵⁄₂₀ k left on the factory pads. but would check anytime… So I went back 6 times over the next two years «you do not need breaks.» I’m kinda punchy on this after a dealership said I didn’t need breaks and ended up destroying two rotors because the manufacture suggests «soft pads that don’t squeak» only 2K after my 30k warranty inspection… Needless to say. I had no warning signs. Just grinding metal on metal… I swore from then on to never trust dealerships and locate a honest mechanic with integrity, to which Darryl fits this description to a tee…

I followed Darryl from the place that he managed previously. He and his crew have always taken excellent care of my car and respected my budget. I’m not sure if this shop is the best kept secret in town or what, but this place (if you will pardon the pun) hits on all cylinders for me.
#1: The staff is always friendly and ready to take time to talk with you. Don’t discount the importance of this. I’ve been to shops where the guys always seem too busy to be bothered with the likes of a customer with a question.
#2: Honesty. After being told stories and sold a bill of goods by shops in the past, it’s refreshing that these guys will actually «un-​sell» you work. In other words, if you don’t need it, they’ll tell you why. Especially in our present economy when everybody is looking to maximize a buck, this show of integrity is refreshing.
#3: If you make an appointment, they’ll be ready for you.
#4: If they tell you your car will be ready by such-​and-​such a time, it will be ready.
#5: The pricing is transparent and reasonable. For a couple of fairly major jobs that I brought over, I was presented with a written estimate detailing the parts and labor for each project. I absolutely HATE it when I ask for an estimate and all I get is a number. It just seems fair to break it down for the customer. I understand the shop is going to mark up parts and charge for their time. That’s the point! If I wanted it done at cost, I would do it myself. Ain’t nobody got time for that. Give me a fair price, make a fair profit so I know you’ll be in business next time I need you, and don’t bend me over.
#6: These guys flat-​out know their stuff. I swear I can call up, tell them what noise the car is making, or what symptom it has, and they can give a fairly accurate diagnosis. OF COURSE they need to actually see the car to be certain. But at least they can tell me it’s safe to drive or I need to tow it, etc.
#7: They treat me like a «premium customer». I know they’ve got a lot of customers, and many of them are driving nicer cars than I am. But even with my economy car, I feel like I’m getting the customer service experience that a luxury driver is getting.
#8: I have to come up with a #8 because I used the pun of «hits all cylinders.» But honestly, what am I going to say? I’ve never been let down by the work, I always feel good when I leave. I send my friends, I send my parents, I’ve sent co-​workers. Anybody that goes comes back thanking me for the referral. Zero bad feedback. I can count on one finger the automotive shops that I can say that about.
I tell anybody who asks about Darryl & Premium. Whether it’s a classic muscle car, a late-​model import or my daily-​driver sedan, all my cars go to Premium Autoworks. I’m really glad I was introduced to Darryl by a friend. I will continue to be a loyal customer.

Was here this AM for a 4-​wheel alignment. This place is relatively new so I was a bit nervous. But I could not be happier with my decision. My BMW drives much better than it has been for years after the alignment. Both the tech and Darryl took their time and seem to care about the quality of their work.
I asked Darryl to give me a price for replacing my steering linkage. After they took a look, Darryl told me it is still good and does not need to be replaced. At last I found an honest autoshop that provides excellent service at a reasonable price.
I will recommend Premium Autoworks to all my families and friends.

Darryl Rocks! He has always provided, fast, friendly and honest auto repair for me. The last time I took my car in, he told me it was going to need several thousand dollars of repairs and that I could have them done for free at the dealership!
