History

Established in 2010.

The first Smoothie King was opened as a health food store in New Orleans, LA in 1973. There are now over 600 Smoothie Kings. The brand continues to grow and expand as more and more people discover the great tasting smoothies and fit a visit to Smoothie King into their daily schedule. The Plano store on W Park Blvd was opened in 2010. Come and meet the friendly team of folks who are looking forward to making you something wonderful. I got into the Smoothie King business because I was a regular customer when I was working in New Orleans. What I love about Smoothie King is the ability to get something specific to my dietary goals and the ability to enhance my smoothie with added nutrients. You can get a meal or a snack, and they taste awesome. My favorite smoothies are the Power Punch Plus and the Gladiator although I really love them all.
