History

Established in 2005.

Dallas Sleep, The Dallas Center for Sleep Disorders has been modeled after the Stanford Sleep Disorders Clinic in Palo Alto, CA, which is the world’s leading clinical and research institution in the field. Dr. Kakar himself was trained at the Stanford Sleep Disorders Clinic, and he still holds close ties to his mentors and colleagues there. Dr. Kakar’s vision was to bring the cutting edge scientific knowledge and expertise of Stanford to the DFW Metroplex. At Dallas Sleep, we carefully and thoughtfully evaluate our patients both Adult and Pediatric, before creating a treatment plan that is easy to understand. We are skilled at diagnosing and treating all types of sleep disorders, including insomnia, sleep apnea, sleep walking, night terrors, restless legs syndrome, and narcolepsy, to name a few.
