History

Established in 1990.

Tim Jon Salon is build and design by Tim. The first salon location was 6805 Main st. #160. The Colony, Tx 75 056. The history begin when Tim CEO bought the salon from people that doing Nail and two hair stations. Intown back then there were several cut and go places, but there are no upscale salon who really know their craft or hair. With skill and talent plus none stop training Tim then went to LA, New York, San Francisco for business and eye opener, after came back he had decided to change the way people doing things totally different. He took his name and his oldest son Jonathan to Tim Jon Salon for a name. Time went by then he opened his second location in Mc Kinney, Tx in the year 2007. And now we having Plano location just open up 2014.

My name is Tim, I started hair business since I was 15 years old when I was in Viet Nam. After I came to the U.S. I fell in love with the country with such wonderful people and so hair dos. Of course I decided to find out, to learn to experience anything got to do with hair. First, I went back to school to get my cosmetology license. After that, I had worked for many different places to see what is interest me the most and I’ve found that hair color and cutting, hair design is what are all about. So finally, I name my salon as Tim Jon color specialist salon. My specialist back ground trained for are Wella Professional, Redken, Joiceco, Enamel, Soccolor… And for hair cutting are all about Vidal Sassoon, Nick Arojo, TG, Aquage some of Matrix
