Total Wine & More

I like that I can order online and pick up in store. I look at online reviews before buying. Total Wine is practical and efficient. I highly recommend it. It’s not the closest liquor store in my area but I still prefer Total Wine.

I didn’t really appreciate how awesome Total Wine was, until I went back to another liquor store and was super unimpressed. It was then that I realized that Total Wine has totally spoiled me. They always have what I’m looking for here and if I can’t find it, their staff is super helpful. I’ve always been pleased with the results when a staff member makes a wine recommendation for me, which they do in a helpful and not used car salesman-​y way. On top of all that, I find their pricing to be the cheapest around. They sell my favorite wine even CHEAPER than I can get it at Costco — that’s a pretty good deal! I’ve never done one of their tastings, but its on my to do list for sure.

The most frustrating thing is when a clerk takes my money and don’t say hello or thank you. I just left the store and cashier 18 053 (Hope) did just that. However when I called her out on it she attempting to argued that she did say hello. Even had she in a very muffled voiced say hello one thing for sure she DEFINITELY did not thank me for my patronage. Ticket#172 624. This establishment is usually a solid five stars but on this visit they were a weak, a very good weak three star.

So here’s the good part. When you walk into Total Wine, you are expecting alcohol to be sold there. There’s lots of it! So to be clear, if you are expecting booze, you will be pleased as the variety is awesome and for wine drinkers like myself, there’s LOTS OF WINE.
Now lets talk about the service. I come here more often than I want to admit to, and when I do, I always receive spectacular service. Not only are they nice, they know their product. I’m a fan of wine conversation and I feel like the people at this location are very good at relating to the customer and providing what the customer wants and the price point the customer wants. The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars and not five is because on my last visit, one of the sales guys «wine snobbed» my Mom. Now in all fairness, my Mom thinks White Zinfandel is wine; but she’s still my 80 year old Mom and you gotta respect her. He wasn’t mean, he was just a little condescending… she noticed and I noticed. It wasn’t the end of the world, just worth mentioning that you gotta treat EVERYONE the same, even the senior citizens.
Anyway, I’m so glad this place is here. I’m from California and this is the closest to BevMo I’ve seen. Bravo Total Wine!

You know. when I first started going here I loved the place. Sure I will admit I was oooed and ahhed by its vast selection, clean atmosphere and reasonable prices. Then one day I decided to check out the Wine Teams Picks board. Chris’ favorite was a ellington reserve whiskey that he said «will make you throw rocks at your favorite whiskey.» The bottle was fairly priced at around 16.99, it wasn’t dirt cheap, it said it was aged 8 years and that it was fine Canadian whiskey for the most discerning connoisseur.
IT WAS DISGUSTING… to say the least its clear that they like to push their high margin spirits direct products on the customers. The employees generally are helpful but this shady business tactic really annoyed me.

This is our go-​to liquor store. The store is very clean, and all the staff are very friendly. It is spacious and located in a busy intersection of Preston and 121 on the Plano side. Total Wine & More often has tastings, and they have a huge selection of all things alcoholic (yes, they even have a section for Sake to the right side of the store)!

Selection was good for the most part. There were a couple of brands they didn’t carry that were on my list.
Customer service was really lacking. Bought $ 500 worth of liquor that was on my list. Was willing to buy way more if I could have found someone willing to suggest or sale me more. Ended up going to Goody Goody and spent another $ 400 just on suggestions and recommendations from employess. Don’t know if I would go back. I believe customer service makes the experience. I don’t care if it does cost more.

Alot great selection, and I was happy they had my favorite beer. I will be coming again. Customer service very friendly and helpful.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This was my first trip and I was highly impressed! This is like a Sam’s club for alcohol. It is about the size of your average grocery store except it is only filled with wine and spirits and also has dozens of helpful employees.
I first walked in and paused at the wine section. Of course I had a deer in the headlights look because it is immense. An associate could see I was lost and asked if I needed help. I said yes, and he escorted me to the Pinot Grigio section of wine. It was against a back wall so I would have never found it on my own. He pointed out some of his favorites and told me about some popular selections. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful. I bought his recommendations and he was right, they were perfect.
Then I moseyed on over to the liquor side. I was looking for the Jim Bean Fire. Yet another friendly sales associate helped me find my purchase.
I left highly impressed and will definitely be back based on customer service alone.

The Walmart for alcohol. This place is fantastic. I’ve been on the venture for the perfect ‘box wine’. This place has the most selection of anywhere I’ve ever been. I finally found this awesome Sangria that tastes like candy. The staff is always professional and friendly. Also — They have so many samples. For a picky girl such as myself, samples win me over. Yes please!!! This place has never EVER disappointed. EVER

Great selection, helpful staff! The wine manager here really knows his stuff & is always available to discuss what’s new & what he recommends. Prices are competitive, in fact, there is a discount available if you buy over 6 bottles of most items.

Wow! Just followed a friend in while he got beer and wine. This place is great. It’s the Walmart of alcoholic beverages. If you can drink it, this place has got it. The selection of everything is incredible. There is a wine tasting area in the back. We’ll be back.

As much as I love Total Wine I have to accept the fact that service is sparse. I mean, in every location I go to it’s sparse. I occasionally will get a nod or a hello but I don’t count on it. So, you might not want to count on it either.
Of course Total Wine has the best selection of booze and booze related needs. I live in California and stopped here to pick up some local beers to take home with me. I wasn’t disappointed in the selection. I was able to get a nice selection of IPAs, a barleywine, and a stout or 2.
Anyway, if I’m ever in Texas and need some more beers I’ll stop here. Very good selection!

This was like a candy store for adults! There were so many selections of wine, liquor, etc! I’m a wine-​o so I wandered up and down every wine isle. They have them split by region and type. The staff was actually surprisingly knowledgable as well! One of the guys recommended a unoaked wine that was roughly $ 12. He told me it was amazing. I hesitated but figured heck it’s just $ 12 why not. Well, he wasn’t wrong! It was a great wine! So much flavor and I love that it didn’t have an oaky flavor! I would definitely recommend going in here if not to buy something, just to wander around! It’s worth a look!

Great selections and great prices at this Wine, Beer, and Liquor (WBL) store. Total Wine and More for sure. Check out the beer price differences between all other stores and this one. No comparison. This store would get a 5 stars if not for one thing. Customer service is a little over the top almost every time I’m in there. I know what I like and I’m usually buying 6 bottles at a time. Then I have an employee say «That’s a good bottle, but let me show you a better one for about the same price.» Then they proceed to take me to another area and put a bottle I don’t want in my hand and tell me it’s entire back story. I don’t want to be rude, so I listen, thank them and put the bottle back to go back to my shopping, when yet another employee comes over and tries to «help.» I try to tell them, «I got it, just picking up a few favorites.» But then I get «Well THIS bottle is sure to be a new favorite.» or «If you like that, then this will really knock you over.»
If you like reasonably priced wine, a great selection this is the place for you. If you hate shopping for wine on what feels like a used car lot, you may be a bit annoyed here. The employees are friendly, and I understand they are doing their job. But I have a sneaky suspicion management is pushing them to do this and would prefer them letting me engage with them rather than the other way around. Or at the very least, take a hint when I seem uninterested in assistance.

Total Wine & More is the closest thing to Heaven this side of the pearly gates. It’s a liquor store that’s the size of a mega-​market with rows and rows of spirits, wines, beers, and related items. I make it a point to visit on every trip to the DFW area and I recommend the same practice for everyone else. Their selection is vast, the prices amazing, the staff friendly and the space is very clean and tidy. They also have tastings and will discuss wine pairings with you based on what you plan to serve it with. So get in here and stock up to prepare for that fun-​filled weekend you’ve been waiting to have!

Much better prices than most liquor stores. Complete selection for even the most finicky. In and out quick.

Love Total Wine and for various reasons… They’ve got a great selection and we never fail in finding the specialty drinks we came for, such as the Game of Thrones beer. Their staff is really helpful once you can track someone down that’s free.
Stock up! They usually have a discount (similar to other places that sell wine) if you purchase 6 bottles.
The location is also really convenient to do some shopping at World Market & Michael’s.

Total wine got incredible wine selection. They have the largest selection of any place I have ever seen. Wine after wine after wine, from anywhere, any price range, any year. It is gigantic and has a huge selection of all kinds of wines, beer, spirits etc. The staff at Total Wine is also easily the most knowledgeable I’ve found. if there is a wine you’re looking for this is the place to go. It’s a mecca of alcohol. Total Wine experience is fabulous.
