Color is our specialty. For men, we have a temporary color which is good to start with and fades naturally, if you just want to try it. Ladies, we have multiple color brands so that you can get the color just the way you like it!

Patty has been in the beauty business for over 15 years, and we opened this salon in 2007. Having been both a stylist and salon educator, her education and experience shows. Patty enjoys making people look good.

Patty is an artist! I arrived early for my consultation. She listened to me try to explain my vision, then she started making suggestions. We decided on the plan and she said we could do it that night since I was just days from my daughter’s wedding day. Patty worked late into the evening to give me fabulously natural looking color and highlights. This proud MOB will be standing next to her daughter for pictures with awesome hair. Thanks, Patty!

When someone asks «Who does your hair?», I never hesitate to say Patty, owner of True Color Salon, because I know Patty knows my hair! She’s an awesome colorist… never fails. She knows what hairstyle will work on me based upon the shape of my face, and the texture of my hair… and she never hesitates to tell me what will not work! I love that about her! I’ve been a client of Patty’s for, I believe, going on 9 years… Because humidity season is here, Patty just did a 5 month Keratin straightening treatment… I couldn’t be more excited! No more leaving the house with hair looking awesome, just to have it frizz up. Highly, highly recommend Patty for your hair care.

Patty did a great job on my color. I haven’t had color done in years since I’ve had such bad results with other salons. I’m so glad I found Patty. She made my hair look better than it has in years!

Patty at True Color Salon has helped me to receive sooooo many compliments on my hair. She does a fantastic job every time I go in for a cut and style! It was my future husband who had his hair done by her first and she made him look great for our wedding. My hair never looks like an amateur did it and I never have to go in the car and comb my hair like I want it… because she listens to me and does what I want. She also makes suggestions if I ask for them. I highly recommend her. She is friendly and professional and always on time.

Patty at True Color Salon has been coloring, cutting, and styling my hair for about 5 years. She’s a miracle worker! When I first met her, my hair was in terrible shape. It sucked up color quickly then faded entirely too fast. It was brittle, faded, and just plain sad. Early on she worked with me to find the right salon treatments and home products to help with the repair. Today, my hair is in great shape and I love the color. I’ve always been impressed by her diligence in finding solutions. She’s meticulous in her efforts to ensure not only beautiful hair but healthy hair as well. She’s wonderful with styling — she even indulges my fondness for 1940s and 1950s hairstyles by researching how to create them. I love Patty, and I highly recommend that you call her for your next hair appointment!

Coming from a toney area in CA, I thought I should go to a Highland Park salon for my first TX cut, but thought I would go more local in Plano. As a professional male, I care about my hair (especially since graying and thinning) and was nervous. End result, my colleagues commented on my nice cut and my confidante’ female colleague said the color was well done. Don’t expect a chic setting, but do expect a nice technically correct job.
