Twin Peaks

Stopped by for lunch with a buddy and his grandson. Warmly greeted and our waitress arrived promptly and took our drink orders. She asked if we had any questions about the menu and offered a few suggestions depending on how hungry we were. We ordered the chicken biscuit appetizer and fries. We ordered the catfish and ship, steak, and double cheeseburger. The appetizer took forever and the waitress took it off the order. The meals were excellent. When we had questions the entire staff was courteous and friendly. It had been a while since my last visit but we definitely will be back sooner rather than later.

Best Twin Peaks I have ever been to. Very clean and the food is amazing:) Beautiful girls and good food, what else can a guy ask for? Highly recommend this place.

Russian Kat, Britanni, and Paisley: we love yall! So my boss and I went out last Friday after work and you 3 chased our blues away. I had pulled pork sliders= excellent suggestion Britanni. Sorry if I spelled that wrong I just remembered you end it with (i). Loved the sliders and dirty blonde beer. Well that’s always a fav of ours. But just one cause I had to drive. Britanni, you were very professional and both my boss and I were impressed you remembered both of our first names from the beginning when you carded us. I’m blown away you remembered our names with all those tables you had. Wow! Look forward to seeing you again. Kat we just love you. Seriously you are the perfect waitress: you are gorgeous, charming, with a radiant smile that lights up the entire restaurant! You are mine (Jordan) and my boss Nathan’s absolute favorite waitress. Your fun, playful personality makes you really easy to connect with and feel comfortable around. You are so attentive and just a genius at service. I wish that you could teach the next best waitress there to be half as good as you! Oh and you are like totally radioactive hot just so you know. We wuv you! Ok Paisley, you also have a playful and fun energy which I likewise find easy to connect with. You are cute as kittens and really funny. Loved your sense of humor– had us up in stitches with that one you told. Thank you Twin peaks for cheering us up and special thanks to Britanni, Kat, and Paisley. You were all sublime.

Great place to have a quick lunch with great food. The staff is always very friendly. If you ever go there for lunch ask for Haley. She is probably one of the best servers there… Very attentive. My go to place for lunch or COLD beer…

I have always had a blast here. Bartenders are fun and and get you a beer fast. Just watched the super bowl here and it was excellent. Try one of their house beers. You can usually get them cheap during happy hour. I find this place very fun and would recommend if ever in the area.

Wish I could have gotten further than the door I was looking for a specific server to enjoy a good meal with but the front door host was so rude it does not matter if ur pretty on the out side if ur ugly on the inside u will be ugly all around

The bartenders are just not very friendly here and just mildly attractive even after a few drinks. Think I’ll skip this place from now on.

The only reason I’m giving one star is because the manager saved our dinner. I have been a bartender and server before and know it can be hard to please some people, with that being said… Server was cold and not friendly. Yet she sat and conversed with the single male patrons. My fiancé steak was over cooked yet veggies cold. I was done eating my salad and sandwich before his new food came out. We waited and waited for our ticket and she just plain ignored us. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your dinner.

Great place for ice cold beer after work, shot specials & great appetizers as well as great meals. Staff is friendly & always takes care of us.

Mediocre food and service. Us (guys) come to Twin Peaks to interact with the girls. If I didn’t want to, I’d go to Chili’s.

This location gets 5 stars because of Russian Kat. If you go, ask to sit in her area. Friendly, fun, and drama-​free service from a great and beautiful girl!
Their own brand of beer is very good, and although the food’s just ok, I DO enjoy the chili quite a bit. If it wasn’t for Kat, I’d give the place 3 stars for taking away the beef sliders w/​au jus. Those were Fantastic, alas they’re gone now.
If you go, go for Kat, beer, & chili. Can’t go wrong with that combo.

Went while on vacation in Dallas. Good service and nice beer, however we went for the food which was way below average.
Chicken Wings were well seasoned but very poor quality meat as were the chicken strips, I should not pull stringy meet that’s inedible when I visit a restaurant.

Complete middle-​aged sausage fest. Like way more than hooters. However this is still one of my favorite places to watch a game. Chicken fried steak is so delicious and it’s a gigantic man portion. Goes perfectly with the mashed potatoes. I usually also order sautéed veggies to make myself feel better about the fried meat/​carb monstrosity of a meal. Servers are usually very nice and attentive although one time I did feel a little rushed to pay out. They also all congregate by the host stand which makes it a little hard to get their attention. Bloody Mary is pretty well dressed with bacon, olives, celery, and limes. Shots are a generous pour. Also! Make sure to try their bread pudding. It’s like two bucks or something and tastes like a less dense not quite as amazing whiskey cake. Which is still pretty darn good. My bf actually likes it better because it’s more airy and less sweet.

Over the past 2 months I’ve been to the Plano location of Twin Peaks 4 times. I’ve always gone on Sunday right at 11 am when they open. My experience has been pretty iffy, but last Sunday when I went for lunch, my two companions and I turned around and walked out without sitting down. Why? Because the odor of bleach was overwhelming.
The first visit was disappointing because the pot roast, which they are known for, consisted of overcooked vegetables (mushy) and stringy meat. The second visit, the door wasn’t opened until 11:05. When the door was unlocked (after we knocked) the woman opening the door was a little «put out» by us knocking and said in an irritated manner «we were having our meeting.» Unfortunately it was freezing outside and we really wanted to get into the warmth.
The 3^rd visit my iced tea had an odd aftertaste and even after I got a replacement, it still tasted odd.
The good features of this restaurant is that it has lots of easy-​access parking, it’s close to the 75 and 190 interchange and it’s never ever crowded.
The bad news? They use very strong bleach which leaves a noticeable odor, the food is unpredictable and the service is iffy.
It’s unfortunate that the restaurant has all these problems. I ignored all of them, but I can’t handle bleach. It gives me an instant headache and I always worry that something really nasty had to be cleaned up to use bleach.
If you like Twin Peaks… try the one in Addison or Frisco. Sorry… this location is permanently off my list, regardless of the convenience factors.

One of the better locations. Service is always very good and food is as good as other corporate locations.
Noël is our favorite server here.
Try their cheese bites for appetizer and their trout for a meal. Can’t go wrong. Hangover burger is another favorite. Not too crowded usually.

It’s smaller than North Irving, but the same excellent service and food. Fun times. Virgin Bloody Mary.

As a frequenter (is that a word?!) of «breastaurants» with my boyfriend I will have to say that so far Twin Peaks is my favorite! Hooters is pretty much off our radar now because we usually have a bad experience every time we go to Hooters, whether it is the food, drinks or service so we stick to Twin Peaks.
Some of these reviews are harsh and it almost seems like the reviewers are uncomfortable with the environment. If you are that insecure, jealous or uncomfortable, don’t go! We rarely see «creep-o’s» there and most of the people just seem like they are there for a good meal and a couple of beers. At least we are, and Twin Peaks always delivers! And yes, the targeted demographic is certainly there (men — 20’s-50’s) so the marketing/​theme/​psychology is working (good for you TP!)!
We frequent a few locations but this is in our top 2. The patio is nice, the drinks are awesome and the food, um, yeah — fantastic! If you haven’t had the cheese sticks you are missing out big time! I will say that their chicken dishes are always SPOT ON! Chicken is always juicy, flavorful and cooked to absolute perfection!
Our service here has always been very good, with the extremely rare exception of the occasional lackadaisical server. I have yet to have anything happen to give me any reason to solidly complain about with this location, love it!

Terrible service! Do yourself a favor and go to Hooter’s before you choose this place! Couldn’t even make our server fake a smile after asking kindly, food isn’t the best, and the scenery ain’t so great either! Won’t waste anymore of your or my time typing about everything else in detail this place for you to read. Be wise and use this advice! Unlike I did, I’d suggest you stick with the reviews and trust in Unilocal
