Bought a used VW Jetta from Joe and loved the experience. No games or lying. Good honest interaction, great car and even when the check engine light came on the day after I drove it home, they took it back and gave me a loaner car while they fixed it – all at no charge to me! For a used car! I was thrilled and so relieved to find a place I could trust. great job, VDubs only!

I recently purchased a Passat, so far so good. I did like them, Joe was helpful. I didn’t give 5 stars because I just felt that the process took too long to say that I wasn’t financing and I was paying cash.

I’ve been taking my 2010 Jetta Sportwagon TDi to Vdubs for the last 6 months after I got tired of the poor service at Autonation. Zig and Cirilo do a great job. It is nice to know exactly who its working in my car.

I had been looking for one of VWs quicker cars. So it came down to the GTI, Golf R and Jetta GLI. Look at this car I post. I picked up a 2009 with only 29,200 miles. Must have been a little olé ladies car. I actually bought and closed on the car before a test drive. I think some of you would have done the same. Darryl at the Preston lot was very knowledgeable and kept me at easy while they got the car up to snuff. Been in it less than a week and I went ahead an contacted an attny. This pretty girl has some teeth that can bite. Over all experience good. Value of product excellent and price point was dead on even when I Kelley Blue Booked it. Highly recommend checking this place out. If they don’t have what u want they will find it!

Good place here. Rick the service manager i believe is awesome. He is a outstanding guy, VERY knowledgeable and straight to the point of things. I have had work done with the company twice. An employee of mine who has a VW also told me to check them out, and so i did, best decision ever. I will no longer go to the stealership.
First time my car was overheating and i wanted it checked out to find out why. They went in and was able to diagnose the problem in no time. Sucks because the time i started notice my overheating problem was literally a minute after i came from the VW dealership after having my catalytic converter replaced. They should have noticed something was wrong, but that was my blessing in disguise.
Anyhoo, I went to rick and the guys found out i needed a fuse box replaced. Rick suggested at some point i would need new brakes and some struts. He did let me know that i did not have to get it THAT DAY and that i had a few months to go on them, but i decided to get them anyway. While making that decision, he explained to me what struts were for, and how to know when they are bad, etc. So yes very informative he was.
So i pick up my car with no problems. I get home about 45 mins later and my check engine light goes off. I immediately call Rick to let him know and because it was almost closing time, i went to him the next day.
I needed new vacuum hoses, they had to order them i believe, so i had to go back later that day. They fixed my hoses and just charged me for parts and no labor.
AWESOME!!! For a second i started to think i had gotten GOT and taken advantage of, but not charging me the labor eased my mind. Car had been going good since. William Hopper is an excellent tech, he explained what he fixed, and how certain things should perform better, etc.
My second time there was about three weeks ago. I had tires replaced a month ago and my car had been making this kinda funny noise ever since. I went to Rick and the guys, we went for a little ride so he could hear the noise and instantly he knew it was my wheel bearings in the back. They ahd to order it in, so i was thinking i was gonna take my car and come back the next day. Rick said that was not a good idea and that i should leave the car cause the bearings sounded so bad that my wheel could come off any moment. Again he explained to me how wheel bearings work and what the would be doing, etc.
Car was fixed and everything is fine now. I actually have to go to him tomorrow cause the black lining in my shifter snapped. Hopefully its a quick and easy fix. I cringe to think what I would be paying for these repairs at the dealership.
either way, you owe it to yourself to try them at least once. Trust me you will come back for more. Anyone i know that has a vw i tell them to go there if they have problems.

After dealing with dealerships, VDubs Only was the only place I’d take my Jetta. Excellent customer service-​above and beyond. I called a few months back needing some work done and they referred me to a VW dealership suggesting the work i needed may be covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty rather than the Ford extended service coverage warranty I currently possess (which comes with a nice little $ 100 deductible, by the way). Genius! Saved me $.

Ive been to a few auto shops in plano and this one is probably the best. After having a bad experience with another shop, I took my car to vdubs only. These guys took a thorough look at my car and gave me the honest diagnosis and the choices to deal with it. Their work is solid, and they are friendly, honest, and highly competent mechanics. I will definitely take my car back to them for all major repairs in the future.

I can’t say enough about the quality of the service and the absolute attention to customer service. They actually care. In our situation, we had the car serviced by the very upscale dealer, at a very high cost, and found out they had not only done a terrible job of installing the brakes and forgetting some assembly bolts (leaving the brakes place there but but actually bolted in place, resulting in a life threatening condition) but had charged us a LOT of money for the privilege. These guys identified the problem, showed us the problem, fixed it and then didn’t charge us an arm and a leg. They were understanding, wrote up the analysis succinctly for us to take back to the dealer, and (seemingly) undercharged us for the labour to fix someone else’s mistake. We are definitely going to use them again for both of our German car repairs and maintenance.

Great shop! The properly diagnosed my car’s issue when another shop had told me the wrong thing (and vdubs was ¹⁄₃ of the price of the other shop). Extremely helpful and knowledgeable! So happy to have found this place!

These guys are honest and helpful, and their prices beat what you have to pay at any dealership. They are never pushy and always present you with the facts and let you make the decision.

I recently purchased a VW from VDubs Only, I know everyone else is talking about repairs so I thought I’d give this side of the story.
My sales guy, I think, was the manager or owner, Peyman. He was super friendly, honest, flexible, and knowledgeable.
I live in Austin and ran across their website with a VW I was interested in. I called them up, asked if the car was still there, and visited them the following Saturday. Once I got to VDubs Only, I was impressed to find said VW on the showroom floor– like it was waiting on me! Peyman let me drive it off the showroom floor and even let me take it to lunch!
His price on the car was $ 3k+ less than Boardwalk, or anywhere else for that matter, I had researched. I knew it was already a good low price when I walked in.
My trade in was also a VW so Peyman knew his stuff. I had received 2 quotes from CarMax and Peyman offered the same amount they did.
VDubs Only works with a near by credit union in Plano for their financing. Peyman let me use his computer to fill out the application once we were done talking price and trade in! Peyman stayed on top of the financing, I never had to wait on him.
The staff is super friendly, the inventory is priced low, and the transaction was very smooth. I highly recommend VDubs Only on anyone’s next VW or Audi purchase!

Had some work done there after Lewisville Volkswagen screwed up my oil pan.
Service is AWESOME. The staff is extremely nice and knows their stuff. Not shady in the least bit. Staff was very clean and friendly. First time I’ve ever felt 100% comfortable with leaving my car somewhere to have work done.
Pricing was really reasonable and was much lower than the dealership.
Work was completed quickly and same day. Car tech even came out to explain things done to the car in detail.
