My daughter and I went to get pedicures. I also got a fill. Originally we had two young girls whom appeared to be very timid and unsure of what they needed to do so as they started our pedicures the manager came over to my side shifting items around, not advising what she was doing. I didn’t know if she was looking for something or trying to do my fill. She finally sat down, flopping the pillow in my lap grabbing my hands to her. The look on the girls face appeared as though they were nervous. Before they finished our pedicure someone else came to finish my daughters and the manager switched from my hands to my toes roughly and in a hurry. Due to the lighting I didn’t think my nails or my toes looked too bad but once I got home in the light… They looked horrendous! That was Sunday so thought about going somewhere else after work so they could fix it but then I thought no I need them to see this. However due to a wreck on the highway I decided to turn around but will NOT be returning! The service was horrible! Customer service was horrible! And I paid 100 plus dollars and I’m sure if I wait til tomorrow which will be Tuesday they won’t fix it. Also I have two chipped nails and again it was just done YESTERDAY!

I really liked this nail salon. I’ll definitely be back. Tech was nice, efficient, and my nails looked great. Overall, a positive expirience.

Best nail salon in town! If you want to find a fancy place, nice atmosphere with slight smell of candles all around. Here you go!
They are friendly, helpful and always listen to you. And EXTREME clean! My tips are to always know what you need before they start doing your mani/​pedi, ask them to cut the nail not too much, focus more on callus.etc. And you won’t be disappointed. Oh, ask for the complimentary fruit cup too!

Needed to salon shop again, so gave this place to try. After two visits, giving it high marks for cleanliness, ambiance, service and overall results. First visit: Hang gave me a great gel manicure… so friendly, and she’s a pro!
Second visit: Only negative is in regards to pedicure; polish job was a little sloppy, but overall, really nice pedicure. Chose the package with paraffin and hot rocks. I’ve been burned by paraffin before, but the woman who did mine got it to a perfect temp. Will return, and hope that this is will be my new go-​to place.

This was by far the worst experience I have had at a salon and I would rather not have my nails done than to come back to this place. First off, around my nails on both hands I have numerous cuts due to inadequate cuticle cutting and it is extremely painful even a day after. Not to mention that during the manicure the employee continuously got up to do something else (maybe this distraction was the reason that I left with an subpar manicure) and all of my nails are not completely painted to the edges which is frustrating considering the cost. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of care for the costumers. Save your money and find a different salon otherwise just have a child do your nails and you will be left with the same results.

I have been coming here over a year and they do an amazing job. I can usually make my gel polish last 3 – 4 weeks with no issue. There are some employees I prefer over others and I am not saying that every time my nails are perfect, but if I ever have an issue, the owner, Amy, makes it right by fixing the issue.
I have since moved closer to my job in Downtown Dallas and I STILL drive here to get my nails done.

I’ve been to this salon twice now and both times I had high expectations and was unfortunately let down. This past visit I sprang for the Delux mani pedi and feel like I wasted my money. While I had a decent pedi (with pretty nice massage) my mani was less than spectacular. My cuticles look like someone took a weed wacker to then, and I could have done a better job on the polish myself. I was hopeful that this salon would become my go-​to. But I’ll keep on looking.

You know nail salon stories about oppressive and abusive nail salons? This is one of them. It looks beautiful on the outside but the employees are unhappy, rough with customers, and clearly do not want to be there.
Half way through the filing of my nails, I walked out and expressed my unhappiness. My long nails were very roughly filed down to nothing. It was painful and the lady did not listen to my request. Ps the salon owner still made me pay.

I am not sure how this place has gotten such good reviews (used Unilocal to find a place and saw the reviews). Went there during my lunch break to get the nex gen nails. The woman who did my nails was rude, nicked me a few times, and I didn’t get a hand rub or lotion. Just the nails done in a hurry and told me ok you’re done. I have never, ever been to a nail salon like this before. I will not go back. Do not read the reviews and think otherwise or do not get the woman who had glasses (and was black).

Great location, good staff, low lighting to put you in a relaxed mood. Just remember to check your polish color outside. :p
This place is very sanitary and nicely decorated. I was welcomed and helped rather quickly.
They have different price points for mani-​pedis. I went for the deluxe at $ 63. Not too bad for a mani-​pedi. I loved the massage on my pedicure. The manicure massage was mediocre. My only reason for a 3* is the fact that their painting technique was not great and their polish seemed very old.
I’d come back here and I’m definitely hoping for a better top notch experience next time with all these great reviews.

Such a disappointment! I brought my 3 sisters and my mother with me to get my daughter acrylic nails for the first time. We all had bad experiences with the technicians. They were sloppy and careless. I tried to write it off as a bad day, but when I came in to fix my daughters nails like the manager «Amy» recommended, she said they were completely booked and refused to fix my daughters nails. I told her she needed to refund my money because I would need to go somewhere else to have them fixed she refused to do that as well. Never come here. They are a factory that just tries to do as many people as possible and don’t care about the quality. Classy nails is so much better and I will never come here again!

I just moved to the Plano area a few months ago and was trying to find a new place to get pretty nails and toes. I have tried all kinds of places and this was the best experience I have had. I love the fruit cups and wine/​drinks you get complimentary. Sandy did a awesome job on my nails and was great to talk to. It was nice to finally find a nail place where they speak great English and can have a good conversation. I am so glad I found this place.

Sandy and Amy are my fav!!! I get my nextgen mani every 2 weeks here and get to enjoy a hot stone back massage AND WINE! Win/​win! I am a customer for life :) love this place and the friendly staff!!!

I ventured to Venus Nails & Spa after reading mostly positive reviews. I arrived one Saturday nearly 30mins before they opened. Fortunately, they opened for business about 15mins early so I did not have to wait in the car for long. I got a basic manicure, pedicure and 15mins chair massage. The color selection was decent but a lot were dried out. The guy working the counter was very friendly and spoke very good English. Overall, I was satisfied with my pedicure… wish I could say the same for my manicure. I tried telling the lady she was applying the polish too thick but there was a major language barrier. At one point, she had so much polish on the brush it dripped onto both of our fingers. I tried explaining this again but there was no use. Next came my 15mins chair massage. I was satisfied for the most part but the lady kept rubbing the hot stones over my shoulder bone… very painful. I paid just over $ 75 for all services. It was very much overpriced and not worth it. I will definitely not be returning.

Reasons for 3 stars
1. When she pulled the wax strip the hair on my head went with it. The hair on my head was still there but it just got stuck on the wax strip.
2. My eyebrows looked weird when I saw the finished result.

This is by far the best nail spa I’ve been to for a pedicure. Very spacious inside with nice décor creating a relaxing environment. I really like how they organized the salon so it’s not cramped up like most places. Spa pedicure starts at $ 30 which includes an exfoliating mask that made my legs baby butt soft. Loved it! They also have complimentary beverages including wine. Can never pass up on that. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely return.

It was my first time visiting this salon and they were awesome! I was a walk-​in (due to them not answering the phone when I called. They must have been busy!) and they got me in almost immediately. The only complaint I have is when I walked in they didn’t seem too friendly right away. I had a guy named Sunny and at first he was really short and stand offish but once we got to talking (aka I started rambling) he loosened up and was too funny. I had a specific style I wanted and he nailed it. I’m very content with my nails and will be returning to see Sunny. Oh! And they also offer fruit cups (whaaaat?!) and beverages.

This used to be my favorite go to salon in DFW. Cute atmosphere, good shellac manicures & good pedicures! They have a selection of drinks and bring out cups of fruit while you’re being serviced. Customer service /​policy is another story.
I went in for my usual (every two weeks, like clockwork) shellac manicure today & was promptly seated. Jake serviced my nails and did a WONDERFUL job. I tipped him after and went to pay and the gal informed me that instead of 30 $ as usual — it was $ 35. (5 extra for the removal for gel). I informed her that I was always only charged $ 30 and the price pamphlet states 30 $ as well. They always have taken off the previous gel (with no extra charge). Then she said «well it’s our new policy as of january 1^st». Thats funny because I got a shellac manicure on January 12^th and only paid $ 30 and there was NO mention of this new «policy». It was also not posted ANYWHERE and I was not made aware of it at all. The gal did ask her manager if she could waive it because I wasn’t «aware» of the policy, but the manager said no due to the fact that it had been so long — ??? it’s not even the end of january and there are no sign /​notices of this change.
Usually I wouldn’t mind paying the extra IF I WAS MADE AWARE and didn’t feel completely blind sighted regarding the change. I would have been a happy customer if they had waived it this time as well — and would have returned for many more appointments. But alas, bad customer service so I will not be returning sadly.
Keep in mind this review is based on their policies rather than service. My go to people are Amy & Jake (so if you go, make sure to request them!)
At this price for shellac I recommend going to UPTOWN NAILS!

I had an amazing experience here. I needed a pedi, and was going to go to my normal place because I had a coupon. I have been branching out and tried Venus based on a friend’s recommendation and Unilocal reviews. I am so glad that I came.
When I walked in I was greeted by a very polite young gentleman. The selection of colors was somewhat limited, but way better than other places. The ladies who worked on my nails (I also had a polish change) were so friendly. They have complimentary drinks, and loved the fruit cups. Yum!
Overall, the atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. They seem to have a lot of regular customers and I can see why. I will definitely be back.
