This is the only Pet Store in all of Dallas that is a Gold Paw Dog Fleece/​Pullover dealer!
I first discovered Gold Paw at Bow Wow Meow in San Carlos, CA. I got it for my friends’ dog, Jax, who is a small Shihtzu and gets cold easily. I figured it was a west coast thing, but to my amazement, when I went to Gold Paw’s website and did a search on dealers in Dallas, Woof (and ONLY Woof) came up in the search. If you don’t know what Gold Paw Fleeces are… get one for your dog and they will thank you! Perfect for the TX winter weather.
I was greeted by Eric when I walked into the store with my pup. Later, Wilbur the Pug (Eric called him upper management and treat sampler) came by to greet us too. They had a large selection of clothing for dogs, food, treats, toys, and I found the perfect little Gold Paw pullover for my kiddo.

What a neat store! This has a little something for ever dog enthusiast. Food, treats, toys, you name it. They probably have it. The sale associate was really nice, informative & friendly. While we didn’t get to meet the infamous Wilbur, we did get to meet Taco! We were able to find a bunch of cute new doggie toys & treats. We will definitely be back to spoil our furbabies!!!

GRRNT loves Woof. They have a great store where we host Meet & Greets a couple of times a year. They have an amazing selection of food brands: dry, canned, raw, dehydrated, and frozen. You name it, they probably have it, and so many options for dogs with dietary issues. They also have a great selection of treats. Their staff has always been very gracious and helpful during our Meet & Greets and our volunteers look forward to our Meet & Greets there so they can stock up on supplies. Plus, the pet bathing facility is incredible. Katie Crockett and her amazing grooming services are based at Woof. We highly recommend Woof. They are very supportive of GRRNT and we thank them very much.

Words cannot say how much I love this place! When I first moved to Plano this was my first stop since my doggies needed raw dog food! The entire staff is amazing, they have a large selection of raw dog food and awesome treats. They also offer grooming though I have never used the grooming service. Wilbur is also a sweetie and loves to nudge you for attention as you are paying! Woof is the best Dog specialty store in the area!

I just adopted a dog this past weekend and saw Woof on my way home from work. Since he had destroyed his latest toy I decided to check the place out and fell in love with everything! The woman working there was very nice and helpful and showed me a couple of toys that I will definitely go back for (I only wanted to buy one that day).
I didn’t have as much time as I would have liked but I noticed they have a great selection of high quality dog food and treats as well as a nice selection of collar/​leashes.
Oh and they have a self service dog wash! I live in an apartment and am still not sure how my 50 pound pup is going to react to a bath so it’s nice to know I have a place to take him if things don’t work out.
I will definitely be back (probably tomorrow) to take a better look around and of course to see Wilbur the pug again!

Visited Woof yesterday. The store is very beautiful and the staff was friendly, laid back, didn’t mind answering questions and recommending things (not pushy at all). I really enjoyed the selection of novelty pet items including collars, leashes, beds, toys and even things for the humans such as tshirts and beach towels by teddy the dog.
The co owner was very nice and she really took the time to show us around the store and explain to us the different high quality dog foods her store offers! I also like that I can get a variety of commercial raw food for my new puppy in pretty much all the brands available on the market such as Primal Formula (my personal favorite), Stella and Chewy’s, Nature’s Variety and another brand that I can’t remember at the moment.
Besides the friendly staff, cleanliness of store and variety of products they offer such as grooming and training, the knowledge of their staff is what i really value and that definitely beats out the retail chain stores such as Petsmart and Petco. To my surprise and delight, I personally found the price very competitive to another company that i am highly fond of which is Pet Supplies Plus and BOTH of those stores beat out the chain owned and operated pet stores.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for something special or just a great place to buy high quality dog and cat food. Ps. Wilbur the pug dog, owner of the store, is simply adorable and loves, welcomes everybody with a snort snort.

Hands-Down…or should I say Paws-​Down, the best dog store in the DFW area! The owner and staff are all very knowledgeable and they stock a large selection of toys, foods, treats and clothes…(Hey, I have pugs… they like to wear clothes… don’t judge. :))
Speaking of pugs, one of mine had severe food allergies and the owner, MJ, was brilliant in her recommendations on a food that would not only be easy on his allergy but would be something that he would actually eat.

Come on, what can beat Wilbur the Pug as the storefront’s mascot? Nothing!
This store carries all the fancy five-​star food I have to get for my pup (Acana, Pet Curean, Orijen, Stella & Chewy’s). It also has high quality toys, leashes, and clothes.
There is also a huge treat section where the dogs like to hang out at.
You can also find random bits around the place like pet-​related bumper stickers, magnets, pet-​themed clothing! I can’t get enough of this place.
Employees were friendly and helpful. If you come on a lucky day, there might even be some free samples tables where you can get free treats for your dog (s)!!!
They also have a customer rewards program where you have to spend a certain amount to get $ 10 off (?) on your next purchase.

BTW — toys might be a bit overpriced, because some were listed for $ 10 cheaper online. But the quality of everything here definitely beats PetSmart’s.

Absolutely one of the best places to go and get quality treats and food for your dog! They carry raw and a TON of grain free food and treats, which I love. The staff and owner are super helpful and knowledgeable about everything you could think of for your dog. They really do have a lot of things that cannot be found elsewhere — and not just in the food section! I swear I’ve never seen a collar, lead, and harness collection like they have. Everything they carry is quality. Needless to say my pup gets excited when he sees a Woof bag in my hands… okay, he’s really just excited to play with the bag, but he always loves what’s inside of it too!

This is a great store that has lots of cute dog stuff.

My dogs & I always like looking at shops and I especially love small businesses. I wasn’t, however, blown away by Woof. I felt like yeah, they had some neat items but I was expecting more!
Their pet food is what is giving my rating a 4 star. Lots of items and no main-​stream dog food.
But on the retail section, It felt pretty empty. Perhaps certain items weren’t selling and they did away with a bunch of retail but that just means that’s one less shop with cool novelty items. Now I have to buy all those neat (dog related) trinkets, stickers and t-​shirts online like everyone else.

This is the best place anyone can go to to purchase anything for a dog. This store has the best customer service and cares so much about the well being of your dog. In times like these we need to support our local independent stores! You will enjoy the selection of items. like food, clothing, bedding and so much more. Stop by and say Hi to the manager of the store Wilbur who is the cutest pug in the world.

This shop is absolutely amazing! Not because they have products that can’t be found elsewhere… wait. They do have products that can’t be found anywhere! I’ve spent months trying to track down a specific formula made by my dogs’ favorite brand of food (yep, I’m as picky as my dogs… don’t judge) and have come up empty each and every time. I was about to give in and start ordering online (*shudder*) when thanks to Unilocal,I found Woof and MJ, my new favorite small business owner.
Not only did Woof have my very specific brand and formula of dog food, MJ was a wealth of information about all things related to my dogs and their care. I have yet to encounter an employee at a pet supply store that really, truly knew what they were talking about. MJ not only knows her stuff, she’s willing to gently steer you in a different direction if it means giving better care to your critter… even if it cuts into her bottom line. That, my friends, is priceless.
I also got to meet the store mascot, Wilbur, a very personable Pug and his foster buddy, Meatball (who I hear is very close to finding his forever home). This is an owner who walks the walk when it comes to her love of animals and the proof is in hearing her talk about her passion for what she does.
On top of selling high-​quality dog food, Woof has just about everything you need for your dog. Treats to beds, collars to clothes, shampoos to accessories. I didn’t find their pricing to be any higher than other stores that sell higher-​end items and when you throw in the reward program (every $ 200 spent gives you a $ 10 store credit that can be used on non-​food items) the prices become very affordable indeed.
Bottom line, if you’re looking to make the break from the uneducated kids in the big box pet supply stores and support a local business owner at the same time, give Woof a try. Don’t forget to say hi to Wilbur!

This is a cute little shop for dogs and dog lovers. They have an impressive variety of toys, treats, collars & leads, apparel, etc. Friendly and knowledgeable people are on hand if you are seeking something specific or if you have any questions.
We purchased our doggy carseat from WOOF a few years ago and we’re still quite pleased with it. Our little juggernaut would run all over our car if we let him, so we needed a solution for our wandering mutt. The folks at WOOF were very helpful and the raised carrier we purchased allows our little shorty to peer out the window and stay safe and secure for long drives.
Although some of the items may be a bit too pricey, this is a fun little store to visit with your pooch.

A fellow dog lover told us about WOOF while we were at the dog park. Saying my gf loves her puppy is an understatement. Naturally we had to check it out.
When we walked in you could just tell it was such a friendly environment for dogs. The owners dogs were there playing with customers dogs. We brought our little Morkie Cooper to check out some of the harnesses, and accessories. We ended up ordering him a new ID tag which was very nice. We were also able to find some nice new food to change it up. They do carry a lot of foods and natural brands that you do not normally see at your average pet shop. A very nice little store, and seems to have a very strong following. The staff there were very open and honest when we asked about the different foods or products.
I am always down to support small businesses. We will be regulars here for sure!

I found Woof this weekend while I was up in Plano and its awesome! If you have a dog — or have a dog loving friend or loved one you have to check this place out. They had all kinds of great stuff for Dupree (treats, chewies, toys, carriers, high quality foods, dog (and people!) clothes, prints, cards, posters and more — so much stuff in this little store!)
I got some fun little gifts for the dog lovers in my life and a couple things for Dupree. Check out their website and if you have a chance stop by the store. The staff was SUPER helpful but not sales-​person-​ish and they have a cute pug (Wilbur I think) that roams the store — he’s the mascot — you can see him on the website too.
All in all. if you’re a dog lover check this place out! It’s a must do!
