Dr. Atlas is the best Optometrist in Broward. He is detailed and takes time with patients. The staff is awesome. They are professional and pay attention to your needs. Amanda is the best. She’s detailed and professional. Great place for vision services.

I have been a patient of Dr. Atlas for about 20 years. My family also sees Dr. Atlas. He gives a very thorough exam and I can say he always makes me happy and I am able to see again. He also gives me good advice. A few years ago I wanted to have Lasik done and he advised against it and in spite of his advice, I had the procedure. Now I need glasses again and I am sorry I had it done. It also caused me to have trouble driving at night. He was right. I should have listened to him.
He helped me with my dry eyes a few years back.
He even let me bring my dog to the office one time as I didn’t have time to drop the dog back to my house and make it to my appointment in time. He is very accommodating. He has evening and Saturday appointments.
His staff is the best too. They are all friendly and helpful and always help me select the best glasses that suit me best.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Atlas.

Dr Atlas and I got our doctorates the same year. I’ve been going to him since I moved to Broward County, for over 25 years. He always gives me the best care, has a great manner with me and all his patients. I can’t recommend him highly enough, and having been with him for pretty much all my professional life (and I’m nearing retirement) says a great deal about the confidence I have in him.

Googled for an eye doc in the Plantation area, he came up. I searched for reviews, and found one positive review, but also found no negative reviews. I called and got a same day appointment. Went in, and the wait was minimal, but the exam was extremely extensive. I was there from 3:45 till about 5:30. Dr. Atlas was extremely thorough and friendly. I really enjoyed our random side conversations about his family, and life. He was brilliant, five stars for sure.
When I was finished with him, the two young ladies assisted me in payment, as well as ordering contact lenses. They were borderline pushy and wanted me to order both contacts and glasses, but there was no way I could afford both. I ordered contacts for the year and asked for my eyeglass prescription so I could order some cheap glasses online as am emergency back up pair. She was almost hesitant to do so, saying she didn’t know if the doctor was available to sign the prescription. Then told me she had frames starting at $ 79… but I know $ 79 frames can add up to $ 300 glasses in no time, so I again thanked her and said, I will be ordering some really cheap ones online, and really don’t want to spend a lot of money for something that will live in my car, and possibly never be used. She told me if I order cheap glasses, I don’t really know what I am getting, blah, blah, blah. I said I did realize that it’s totally a case of you get what you pay for, and I loved the $ 364 frames she showed me, but with lenses, that’s a lot of money for this teacher who is already buying contacts. So can I please get that prescription?!
She printed it out and then went back to see if he was able to sign it. She came out and changed something on the prescription, and reprinted it and told her coworker to sign it for the doctor. Kind of strange, hope it was an honest mistake that needed correcting, not a changed prescription ensuring that my cheap glasses will give me a headache if I ever need to wear them! So Dr. Atlas gets five stars, and the ladies were nice, but I did feel very uncomfortable. Maybe I am being unrealistic and people frequently go in and pay $ 95 for an eye exam, $ 95 for a contact exam and then go ahead and buy both glasses and contacts, but that wasn’t on my agenda.
