Psychological services. We provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy. Ages 3 – 199. Treatment of Mood Disoders (depression, biopolar), Anxiety Disorders (Panic attacks, PTSD, GAD, OCD, Social Phobia), Addictions and other behavioral problems (childhood defiance, eating disorders, gambling, internet use), parenting, couples and family work. Psychological testing provided to diagnose learning disabilities, tests IQ for gifted programming, compliance with court orders and surgical clearances.

History

Established in 2005.

Dr. Saponaro obtained her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Florida, followed by her Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University where she now teaches as adjunct faculty to students working towards this same degree. After working in the mental health field serving children and families at the community level, Dr. Saponaro moved to Tennessee to obtain her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Memphis. After completing an internship at Mississippi State Hospital, Dr. Saponaro returned to her home town of Plantation and began working in the field. She now owns her own private practice and serves people of all ages with a variety of presenting concerns.

Dr. Saponaro is a Florida Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She works with each individual to develop a set of goals based on their unique presenting problem. Using the latest research, Dr. Saponaro selects techniques that are based on science while using everyone’s talents and strengths that they bring with them to help address their problems.
