Found Rock Paper Scissors and booked my appointment through Unilocal!Gina cut and colored my hair and I’m very pleased with the results. Gina did highlights and then a toner, next was a cut and blow dry. The salon has an upbeat atmosphere and I enjoyed the banter and the chit chat. I parked across the side street in the office parking lot. There was tons of parking. Used my Unilocal check-​in for a 10% discount and felt the cost was reasonable given the amount of time Gina spent on my hair.
Very pleased with the results and would recommend both Gina and the salon. Let’s see if I can find a photo to post.

Deb has done hair cuts, styles and color/​highlights to my hair for the past 4 years. She is the only person that I trust wholeheartedly to do my hair, other than my mom, who is a salon owner in NC. I still live in NC, but go to Florida often, hence most trips include a visit to my favorite hair stylist, Deb. On the last trip, Deb’s husband, John, straightened my daughter’s hair and it turned out fantastic, as well. It is worth scheduling a trip from NC to see Deb & John at Rock Paper Scissors (800+/- mile journey). If you’re local, this is DEFINITELY the place to go. Honest, humble, EXTREMELY talented, amazing, happy folks!

Trying something new… from moment that I booked appointment to my departure the customer service is 5 star… they listen and make recommendations! Laughs all around while maintaining professionalism. I received an awesome cut and got my partial highlights in caramel… very happy chick!

I’ve been here a few times and the staff are outstanding! I give them 20 stars if I could. The people there are kind, friendly, very funny, and just make it a really wonderful experience. They listen and they don’t try to push anything on to you. They really care about what your opinion is and what your experience is going to be. I actually brought with me my family because they do such an outstanding job. My 16-​year-​old son was thrilled with his haircut and my daughter had a great time. And to make it even better the place is spotless — someone is always cleaning something picking up something to make sure that you feel you’re in a clean and sanitary environment. Go see John and Deb, Gina with the beautiful bright red hair, Yvette for great shampoo and Trish is well.

I have been going to this salon for years ! Also, If you are looking for great colorist’s. This is your place. Not only is it a great salon but everyone is very welcoming. So you don’t have the awkward feeling you when walk in the door.

First time here and I would totally recommend to anyone looking for a great salon. Everyone is so nice and they know their stuff about hair The owners Deb and John are down to earth and likes chatting with customers. I got highlights today and was very pleased. Deb fixed the awful mess the last salon did to my hair. Will definitely be a regular here from now on!

Love this salon. Deb, Gina, and John are all fantastic. I always leave satisfied. Most recently they were able to fix my DIY color job at home to exactly what I was looking for. Love everything they do and even better the atmosphere is fun and laid back which is great for when you’re doing major color correction and spending a few hours there. I definitely recommend for everything!

Simply the best in the area. I have been going to Deb for many years and always have compliments on my hair colour and cut– the staff are fantastic and talented team always friendly and caring.

I love this Salon! Deb always does a wonderful job! Gives me her opinion when I want it, but still lets me do what I think I want! Her colors are always wonderful & I never leave disappointed. It’s also affordable– and won’t kill ur bank account. It’s not cheap– but it’s what I think I should pay for my hair. :) The girl who does the shampooing even does a spectacular job– like the best shampoo of my life! They also sell great products for purchase :) love Rock Paper Scissors.

My daughter talked me into going here. When I sat down in Debbie’s chair she suggested a soft brown color so my hair would not look harsh. At first I was a little worried. The color is so beautiful and my hair looks so much more healthy.

I’m new to the area so I was looking for a salon that was close to my new home instead of driving down to Miami. I placed my appt online and received a call from Kayla the following day confirming the appt. She was very nice. My appt was with Gina. She did exactly what I asked which was dye my roots as close to my natural hair color as possible, cut and dry. She did a great job. The girl that washed by hair was very good too. Overall this is a very nice salon, with nice people that do a great job. I would recommend and I am definitely going back.

The only salon I trust with me daughters hair!!! The stylist are just simply fantastic! Very comforting and down to earth environment.

Came in today for the first time, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I was lucky enough to have been randomly booked to get my hair cut by John. John was great, he listened to me when i explained my special needs due to an allergy i have to hair dye. He did an amazing job on my hair cut and even made an exception to do my blowdry, when I booked online i didn’t book the blowdry. And even though he was super busy him and his wife did a tag team job on my hair. It came out awesome! The price was also very fair for the service i received. I’ll be back in a few weeks to do my color! Very excited.

Had a great first experience. My mother and I went for haircuts and color consultations. Deborah had enough time and fixed her box dye job and gave her a great short cut. I had Gina and she was great. Very friendly and knew what she was doing. Usually I’m very nervous going to salons because I walk out distressed and unsatisfied but not this time. I love my new style and can’t wait to go back next week for my color. All the employees and very nice and welcoming and made me excited to come back and be a regular client. Awesome job RPS!

I am very specific on who cuts my hair and how I like my haircut.
I have been going to John for years now and I have yet to be dissatisfied with a haircut. He truly understands what I want and how to give me exactly what I want.
The atmosphere at rock paper scissors is also very fun and energetic. Everyone is so nice and caring.
I go to school in Orlando and always have to wait for when I come home to visit to get a haircut because it’s that good. I wish I could give more stars than just 5 because it’s that good!

Before I even walked in, the salon’s name struck delightful cords internally. I mean honestly, how clever is the name «Rock Paper Scissors» for an establishment that revolves around scissor artistry…

That kind of melodic pleasantry made it easy for me to drop in when considering locales for my next haircut. Call me particular, but I’ll acknowledge that I’m a customer who needs a salon who can deliver savvyness with both scissors and clippers.
More importantly, is the communication between stylist and customer as to what the desired look I’m going for shall be. This comes down to articulation and understanding, of which both owners John & Deborah have superseded with flying colors…
The environment of the salon is very comfortable, recognized with the husband and wife combination of personalities that sets the tone for what I’d call, «the perfect salon» …
Whether its a beverage or a snack, a good shampooing or entertaining conversation, Rock Paper Scissors Salon exceeds my expectations in customer service…
The quality of their craft is sought out by many since I see posts and pictures of weddings and fashion shows where the owners themselves lead a team of stylists to ensure their brand, Rock Paper Scissors, maintains a brand that falls no short of guaranteed satisfaction everytime.
Their supporting staff is always smiling and seems happy to be at work. I don’t know about you, but if I’m enjoying what I do, I’m not ever working a day in my life.
