HORRIBLE!!!
Won’t return a phone call or email, but they don’t hesitate to solicit.

Called 9:30 last night (Fri night) to say they couldn’t come at 8 am in the morning (Sat morning). Isn’t professional either way to reschedule when I have planned my day around appt. for days, but they can’t even come at all today as he only works half a day and already has an appt at 5. And I leave town tomorrow so no I didn’t want to reschedule. The Other Reviews expect one fake one… noted this lack of professionalism and not showing up was issue… I should have listened.

DO NOT hire TERMINIX!!! after inspection i was told i needed to tent the house and fumigate. I also paid for contact spraying for my attic to delay the tenting because I had a newborn. well I have been calling for the past 2 weeks to schedule my fumigation and I have yet to get a call back or an appointment! not to mention they already cashed my check for services NOT rendered. they do not give you the local office number and only the central 1800 number and no one ever knows anything. they keep you on hold while the central location calls the local office and then they say ‘I left a message for the local office and they will return your call in 24 – 48 hrs”. I have heard this about 7 times!!! and no one ever returns my call. everytime you call the 1800number, you are on the phone for easily 40mintues for NOTHING! they don’t ever solve your problem and just tell you the local office will call you back. its ridiculous! I have spoken to 3 supervisors too and NOTHING gets solved. After all this headache, I asked for a refund because again they cashed my check BEFORE doing the job or even having the job scheduled. so now I have been waiting almost 1 week for someone from the local office to call me back and approve the refund!!! SAVE your money and go with a better company!

As a Terminix customer for the past 15 years and watching service down hill. We recently had some swarming and Terminix did everything not to re-​tent the house after 10 years. They wanted to treat areas little by little — count the endless appointments that you have to sit and wait! Not to mention the rude behavior we experienced. Anyway, then they re-​tented — did a half-​a$$ job — broken a statue base; broke a sprinkler pipe (???); and randomly covered plants with the tent which didn’t need to be covered. And by the way, 10 years ago when they did it — you know — when they WANT a customer — they did a great job — in fact we didn’t see a bug in our house for months! Well, after this time — we still saw bugs walking around.
Anyway, thought i’d share — i really liked Terminix UNTIL i actually needed them! Shows the true customer service!

I tried to cancel the contract. I get conflicting contradictory information depending on what undertrained staffer I speak with.
They do not convey their contract terms; they charge for service not requested; they do not cancel when requested; they do not observe customer requests.

They have gotten better.
Had to stay through my contract, but the service has been better the past year.

I paid a year advance on a yearly Terminix service. They NEVER contacted me by saying my contract was up, instead they charged me for a service I thought was still included. When I called to inquire, they said they can only credit the new charge if I renew ANOTHER yearly contract with them. BTW: beware they end your contract at the end of the previous month you signed. So if you paid 6.10.12, contract ends 5.31.12.
Do not fall for their gimmicks and whatever you do, do not sign for a yearly contract. They are a rip off.
