History

Established in 1990.

It started as a hobby as I self-​taught myself how to swing dance after finishing my pro-​baseball career. I became good enough to teach and perform and started booking night clubs and venues bringing in bands and teaching dance lessons. It took off from there and I started to branch out to all other events through word of mouth, referrals, contacts and some advertising. I stopped doing the clubs by the end of the 90’s and moved into private events, weddings, corporate, etc. and by this time had pretty much any contact/​vendor you can think of by seeing/​meeting them at various events to establish my Full Service Entertainment, Music, Dance & Event/​Wedding Planning Company that it is today.

I started my company over 20 yrs ago starting as a professional swing dancer and built it into a Full Service One-​Stop shop company providing any/​all vendors for weddings, private parties, special & teen events, birthdays, festivals and more.

Working with Todd Elliot has been THE best experience I have had in working with a vendor for the past 3 years here at Lucky Strike Entertainment. As the event manager for Kids Parties here in the Los Angeles area, I have some of the most scrutinizing clients/​guests and the audience is hard to please!
Todd has handled everything from rental assistance to the TOPS in character/​actors for our events. He is able to handle our last minute requests with grace and the entertainers are always professional, on-​time, and exactly what was ordered.

He really did an amazing job at my son’s recent Bar Mitzvah. We had a very large and rowdy group of 13 year olds and he managed to keep them entertained and under control. We had «Bob’s Yer Uncle» at our wine fundraiser this last month, and they were fantastic! Kudos to Todd for meeting our budget, working with us on a great playlist, and having the band keep up the energy the whole evening. His communication was top-​notch. The whole crowd didn’t want them to ever end so they could keep dancing. Many thanks to Todd and the band for doing a fantastic job.

Well, I have to say… his gigs are flawless! He has the smoothest party nights we have ever encountered. We have been throwing our office parties for 22 years and have used several different event planners in the past. But once we found Todd Elliot, we have never needed to seek out anyone different. We have used him for the past 11 years. He is always coming up with new fun gimmicks each year so every party is different, fresh and new. He always returns calls, emails immediately. His prices are competitive. He can make it work financially every time for us.

Absolutely the WORST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER… DONT THINK about hiring TODD ElIiOT to run an event for you.
If you like grainy unusable photos then this is your man…
After sending me low-​definition photos that were unusable he refused to refund any of the monies I paid…
Oh and DO NOT pay this man up front, you will regret it.

Todd is a true professional. We were planning our wedding and he spent a great deal of time consulting with us. We had many questions and he was there to help sort everything out. He’s super responsive, which can be rare with event planners, and he’s proactive. Although we ultimately didn’t end up using Todd (due to family politics and logistics :-/​), I highly recommend him for any event.

It is getting that time of the year that we will be dancing and enjoying, again for around 10 years now, a private party that Todd Elliot Entertainment, will be the main atraction. We, all of us at the company where my husband works, are counting the days, until this event booked at Friendly Hills Country Club.

Dear Todd, From our entire family, I want to thank you whole heartedly for helping to facilitate and make our family event, and festivities so wonderful! From the beginnings… (the early planning stage) the venue location — to the ceremony, the experience working with you was a delight. I can comfortably speak for our family, friends, acquaintances and business associates that we all had a blast! Thanks to you and your culinary knowledge we couldn’t have been happier with the food selection and warm catering staff. We also really enjoyed Todd Elliot’s mc’ing, helping with the games & dancing as well as the onsite coordination. As is evident from our event video, the dance floor was jammed packed from beginning to end — kudos to DJ Jon and the rest of your team. I can imagine it’s not easy balancing between the shifting generational music tastes but I witnessed the most senior folks boogying just as hard as the teen crowd — I’m not certain how you pulled that one off, but you did and it was a blast!!!
We are looking forward to many more festive events and sure hope that Todd Elliot Entertainment will be ready to set the stage once again!

I want to thank Todd for a great event. I found him to be an extremely hard working person, everything we asked for was taken care of. He was super fast in returning phone calls and we never felt like he was rushing to get off the phone like some others we had dealt with. I’ve been consulting in the meeting planning/​conference industry for many years. Any time and every time a client wants a fun party to close out the conference, I call upon Todd for any/​all entertainment. Throughout the years he has provided me with a variety of fun acts, music, dancers, DJ’s that have made the party memorable. I put on a big festival event at my college last week and hired caricature artists through Elliot Entertainment. The artists provided were very professional and cordial. Overall they made excellent drawings and were awesome to work with!
Todd is a really easy person to work with. He’s quick with the emails and tries hard to make sure everything is organized and thought-​out well in advance of the actual event. The fact that he was so on top of things helped a lot.
Even though I only used the caricature artists, I’m sure the other types of entertainment they provide are just as high quality. I would definitely recommend Elliot Entertainment to everyone!

I got married almost 6 years ago. Sadly, my marriage did not work out, but my wedding day was one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, days of my entire life, and I have Todd’s great services to thank for A LOT of it. I used him for my DJ, who was top notch and played every request of my guests, for my photographer, who took wonderful shots and was SO easy to work with, for my videographer, and even for a harpist who got a TON of compliments from my guests (the harpist was Todd’s recommendation, by the way, and I am really happy he suggested her, as I would have never thought of this). Todd could not have been MORE reliable and prompt with returning phone calls and making arrangements, and his pricing was very fair and even a bit lower than every other vendor I consulted. I ALWAYS recommend his company to any of my friends who are having a big party and will continue to do so.
