I’m going to do something I never do. Pan this place. I wandered in solely because of the banner that reads, «Award winning food». I should have known better when I entered the empty bar and smelled the stale cigarette smoke. But I like to at least give a place a chance, so I ordered a charbroiled hamburger and the«award winning» rib sampler.(Don’t want to commit to $ 15 on a sketchy place like this, and I’m glad I didn’t) My food came out quickly, within 5 minutes. The charbroiled burger was a frozen pre-formed patty like you would get at Wal-Mart or Aldi’s. This, when there’s a MEATMARKET just across the street! Couldn’t even make the patty?! The much touted ribs, were meh. They had a rub, and the sauce was nice and tangy, but you could tell they had been sitting for a long while. Best thing I can say about the food is that it was warm, and cooked all the way through. Being the only one in the bar, service was not an issue. Bartender lady was nice. If you’re just looking for a place to drink bud light and watch tv shows about shooting stuff, this is your place. If you want to eat, I’d recommend the meat market across the street as they do hot stuff and sandwiches as well. Im writing this the next morning, and my stomach is still a little queasy from this«award winning» food.
