A disaster. I went in, ordered my ice cream and checked in on Unilocal.First of all, I asked for a like it and the girl made me a love it. Second, I told the girl that per my Unilocal check in that I’d be getting a free waffle cone for my friends ice cream. She agreed. But when my friend got his ice cream it was in a regular cup. I had to ask her again to put this in a waffle cone. Third, she charged me for the cone, I checked the receipt and there it was. I was annoyed that she was so inattentive to us. Because of principal, I got my $ 1.09 back. Unfortunately, I can’t take back going there. The whole visit was a disaster and it was the last time I choose to be a patron there.

On February 8^th, I stopped in & was craving something but I couldn’t figure out what. I asked the associate named Julie for a recommendation. She asked the right questions (craving fruity, desserty, plain, etc.). I ended up getting a lottle of Bday Cake & Coffee flavor mixed, having told me it was like coffee cake. I even ask for something salty & suggested peanut butter! Once we got the ice cream, she suggested pecans. Though I chose for almonds instead, the suggestion of nuts with cake was absolutely perfect! If you can’t decide what flavors, toppings or even sizes, look out for Julie! Give her enough information and her recommendation will surely follow. I’m glad I stopped in!

Who doesn’t love Cold Stone Creamery? It is my worst enemy when I want to lose weight. We walked past and could not resist the temptation and therefore, we walked in and got out with a chocolate cup in our hand. The portion is huge and their ice cream somehow is much denser than others I have had.
If you are looking for a sweet treat, cold stone won’t disappoint! Just don’t think about the calories :)

Last night I went to the Vacaville Coldstone and got my daughter a child’s size ice cream with strawberry AND sweet cream. Tonight I came in to the one in Pleasant Hill and the lady behind the counter says «we no longer have child’s size.» I said fine I’ll get the small size with the 2 ice creams, she says «we can’t do 2 different ice cream flavors unless you get the Medium size.» So since when? Was there a big meeting today and the decision was made? Bad business to someone who frequents a lot as you can see.

Going to this location of cold stone having seen all these bad reviews, I was pretty nervous! But the staff really came through! Everyone was very friendly and The guy who made our orders was very nice and did a great job making delicious ice creams for us! I had also checked in on Unilocal so I got the cones for free! Will def go again!

One employee and 25 customers in line on a Sunday at 3:38 p.m., 10÷18÷15. Really??? 5 people have given up and left. Bad idea management.
Haven’t had one positive experience at this location.
Zack, the lone employee mention his 3 o’clock replacement thought their shift started at 4:00. So one employee again.
Zack should be commended for keeping his cool.

They would NOT honor the free waffle bowl offer on the Unilocal website!!! It may not seem like much but DO NOT offer what you not willing to honor!!!

Out of way to many things and to top it off only had one person working when we went in which early afternoon seems less than ideal. Overall I wasn’t impressed and also felt that the coffee ice cream lacked flavor.

This cold stone is never to busy and the people who work there are really fast and attentive to what you want. My boyfriend and I have never had a bad experience here.

Quality of ice cream and their signature mixes are great but the portion size is not what is being advertised. Order one size down from what you really would like because you will be over paying otherwise.

With the popularity of frozen yogurt stores now, ice cream shops like cold stone are harder to find in Pleasant Hill. Cold stone does a good job with variety (cakes, ice cream, sundaes, toppings). Standard scoops can get mix-​ins — better than toppings because they’re not all just sitting on top! There’s usually enough seating at this location.

Good customer service, ice cream tasted similar to those served any other chain stores

Our experience was TERRIBLE I would ever go to this location again.
We special ordered a cake, in person. We filled out the form with all the choices & details about the cake. We spoke to a staff member who handled the form, and also a manager to make sure they understood our nut-​allergy issues for the cake preparation. They assured us that the cake would be ready in 24 hours. We said we’d pick it up in 48 hours just before my son’s Birthday party.
We paid in advance ($ 55), as required by them.
When arriving to pick up the cake, there was no trace of the order or the cake, the staff person had no idea about it. He called the manager several times but never got a call back.
We had no cake for my son’s birthday. Due to his allergy we could not just go buy a cake somewhere else. I was LIVID.
My parents returned to the store twice after that to discuss, but never got a manager reponse or any sort of apology, much less an attempt to reconcile the situation.
This was OBSCENE. At a minimum all management should be replaced.

Ok so I saw the 60+ reviews with the 2-​star rating, but I figured it’s ice cream … How can you possibly mess that up ?! Well, this Cold Stone gets one star for proving that yes, yes you can mess up ice cream :(My mocha ice cream was so runny, half of it was melted already when they handed it to me. Also, don’t bother checking in to use their «free waffle cone» offer on Unilocal… They won’t honor it since there’s no barcode.

Went to Coldstone tonight after dinner for a treat. Special weeknight fun! Googled it first and it said open til 10 pm. Haphazardly written sign on the door that says will reopen tomorrow. What? Are you out of ice cream? Not cool Coldstone. Not cool.

After playing at the park, 6 of us wanted to come here to take advantage of Buy One Get One promo from the email I got. We were all excited until the server said we can’t give you that. I tried showing him the email but he was rude and insisted, «I need to have it.» What kind of institution requires paper coupons nowadays? With all the technology, promos gift cards, coupons are all a tap away. Move forward and not backwards in time, Cold Stone! Also hire people who want to give good service, not people who hates being there, breathing hard as he waits for people to order. I’m not coming back here! Baskin Robbins has always been our favorite, but we just had to use our giftcards here.

Will i come home to see the family an we went to have ice cream it was fun day i love coming here with the family we have lot of fun trying out each other ice cream an i miss mom cooking so it home for weekend an mom an baby sister are happy to see me ok i have my BD cake an some other ice cream cake make here for all my family BD just love all the ice cream they have here will have a good night be safe out they injoy the rest of your weekend lol

Good ice cream but terrible service. Not enought people working and had to wait a long time. They took a guy out of line to sell a cake and had to wait.
Second time this happened.
Try somewhere else for service

Stopped by ColdStone after receiving a gift card from my Aunt. I was surprised, but impressed to see they offer more products/​variety since the last time I was here. They offer ice cream sandwich 4 packs for $ 12.99, seems kinda pricey when they are many options for fresh ice cream sandwiches with your choice of cookie and ice cream at $ 2.50 in the area. Another new item, was the hot dessert options that combine with your choice of ice cream, which seemed like a fun diner concept. Place seemed very clean inside.
