I have been playing music professionally since 1990 and I’ve been teaching for the last seven years and I feel I have developled a very sucessful teaching style. I like for my students to have fun and enjoy the process of learning to play their instrument. I offer a relaxed teaching style. If you feel we are going to fast I’m more then happy for you to set the pace.

I offer my students the opportunity to preform live at a local establisment. I find that offer such platform really motivates the students in a positve way. And it also great fun for the friends and family of the student!

Research has proven that kids who play an instrument tend to excel academically, even scoring higher on standardized tests.

Hello! My name is Jeff Eyman. I’m a guitar instructor and recording engineer with over 20 years of music experience and have taught for the last five years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in digital media with a focus on audio engineering, and obtained my degree in 2007 from California State University– Dominguez Hills. I teach children (all ages) as well as adults in acoustic and/​or electric guitar lessons.

I have performed for over 20 years, playing guitar in several professional bands throughout the bay area including the Memphis Pipelayers, Honey Chile, South County Country Band, The Vinyl Junkies (an acoustic duo for hire) and The Mind Readers (a rock favorite in the east bay). I studied guitar with Mark Abarhamain of Jefferson Airplane/​Starship, Steve Sage instructor at Diablo Valley College and local guitar hero and guitar virtuoso Carl Verheyen.
