I really wanted to enjoy my experience with you guys. I even overlooked the fact that you sold me a floor model dishwasher with no hardware and attempted to deliver a stack-​able washer dryer without the stack kit. Even after all that I still recommended you to my folks… bad decision. My folks bought a Whirlpool fridge and dryer and they were both defective, the fridge was replaced, but there was no offer to reimbursement the for the $ 150+ of spoiled food. They decided to just return the dryer and go to Airport Home Appliance instead, which is where i’ll be going for my upcoming kitchen remodel.
I know ship happens and you can’t directly blame the salesmen for defective goods coming from a warehouse, but stand behind your product and make things right.

I remember my first experience at Friedmans Appliance back in 2005, when we first bought our house, to be a positive experience because I remember shelling out close to $ 20k on appliances to replace all the old ones that the previous owners left behind or took with them.
Although, I do recall the delivery guys delivering our oven and somehow managed to break the glass door upon deliver so we had to wait another week for them to order a replacement – since the one I ordered was not a regular stock item.
My most recent experience was not so positive because I went in to look for a new washer since the one we’d purchased back in 2005 had given up on us. I walked in at about 6:30 PM on a Tuesday night and the store was empty, but there were about 6 or 7 people working at the desk and no one was on the sales floor to greet me nor the lady who walked in after me. After glancing around for a good 15 minutes without any service, I decided to walk out.
I looked up the item I saw in their store and noticed that it was cheaper at Home Depot, so I guess I’ll be heading there for my next appliance purchase.

After deciding to switch out my old white kitchen appliances for stainless steel, my husband & I visited Friedman’s Appliance Store in Pleasant Hill. We ended up with a terrific salesman (Saul Abitbol) who gave us some great advice! Not only was the point of sale very easy, but the delivery & installation went very smooth! I’ll never buy my appliances anywhere but Friedman’s!

Vincent Gil at Friedmans Appliance wins our personal gold star. He was knowledgeable, professional and was the very best salesperson for our house remodel project. We can truly say he went «the extra mile» for us. He not only assisted us in selections that are perfect for our project as well as our pocketbook, but he even personally delivered several items to our door in order to assist us in perfectly timing appliance installation. I bought a refrigerator today over the phone from Freidmans Appliance in Pleasant Hill. I would like to recommend Raj. He was so patient with me. He read off the dimensions of more than one refridgerator until I found the perfect one. Rag is one of the best salesman I have ever worked with. Ask for him. He’s a great guy.

I recently purchased an oven set from Neel Patel at Friedman appliance. My wall area is very small and the ovens have to multi-​task. Neel showed me several options based on my needs. I decided on GE Monogram and I could not be more pleased.
Jaime, their installation person came within a few days and did a wonderful job reconstructing the area for the new ovens after carefully removing the old ones.
I have purchased a refrigerator from Friedman’s in the past and am still happy with it.
I highly recommend them — the service is elegant — not rushed or pushy. They care about providing you with the best options for your specific needs.
I am a designer and recommend them regularly to clients.

Got quick, efficient help from Rothin M. after KitchenAid spent 10 months dragging their feet about replacing a defective French door fridge. Had no idea the retailer could be such a great advocate when there are warranty issues. Wish I had contacted Friedman’s sooner.

This company really is the best when it comes to purchasing appliances. We worked with James Plitt and he ordered the new LG fridge and within the week it was installed and running perfectly. The installation team were thoughtful and respectful of the house, measuring and making sure everything fit like a glove. They took the time to check everything out, level doors and check water lines. I started of with another company and they delivered a damaged fridge, returned it and then reordered with James and felt taken care of from the beginning of the process. Not only is the company outstanding but their salesperson, James Plitt is as well and the delivery team are top notch. Thank you all for making this process so smooth.

I am writing an update to my earlier review. Once reading my bad review, the company contacted me and offered to refund my installation fee for the stove top. They felt bad for the situation. Since I have done business with the in the past, and things were fine, I am updating my review to give them a higher rating. I still cannot give 5 stars because they don’t honestly deserve in this situation. i am grateful that they offered to remedy the situation but it still happened.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with their appliances however. They sell top of the line appliances and they do have a really beautiful showroom. The contract the installations out and I understand they really cannot control the third party installers.
It was just an unfortunate situation.

Great experience! Just bought a Whirlpool washing machine to replace my 12 year old limping along F&P. Amazing how the new generation of washing machines work! Actually (and weirdly) make doing laundry fun. OK I’m 4 loads in after a week without a washing machine, so clearly in the honeymoon phase, but cannot believe how the new machines work so much more quickly and the clothes are cleaner and dryer! Everything is drying faster than before. If you are hesitating about buying a new washing machine, drop everything and run to Friedman’s. Huge showroom, lots of selection. Michael Brown took great care of me, found the best value for my budget, had it quickly delivered, and I now have clean work out clothes. Whew!

While researching kitchen appliances I had the good fortune to go to Friedmans in Pleasant Hill where I met Darrell Clay, an incredibly knowledgeable associate. He spent the time I needed to understand what appliances would suite me and my needs, not just sell me appliances.
Darrell is the definition of «customer service» and Friedmans is lucky to have him!

I had already done my shopping online for the washing machine I wanted to buy, so I was calling around trying to find the best price and Friedmans had the best price, was the kindest and nicest people I dealt with. Super happy with them all around. Will definitely buy from them again.

Just had a wonderful experience buying a washer/​dryer laundry center at Friedman’s Appliance in Pleasant Hill. Worth the drive from Oakland for sure. First I checked the website, then talked to Pedro Smith on the phone, then we went to store to look around. He greeted us right at the door and was really great – showed us lots and lots of different options, listened carefully to what we needed, offered other ideas for us to consider without being pushy, knew the pros and cons of each unit and generally just made the whole experience great. We haven’t had it delivered yet, but am expecting that part of the process will be equally smooth and effortless. Skip the big box stores. The prices are the same or better, and the people there really know what they are talking about. Plus, you can support local businesses who create real jobs for our community!

We were very pleased with the service at Friedmans when we recently purchased a new dishwasher and refrigerator.
Almost an overwhelming number of options, but A.J. Jaral was very helpful as we narrowed down our decision. He is a knowledgeable pro … not pushy.
I was surprised that the prices were competitive with other local stores. We have had some issues with a recent appliance purchase from Sears. Glad that we could find a good deal at Friedmans. We will be back!

Bought a complete set here, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and fridge. Rothin M. got us a great deal, even price matched the fridge when we found it cheaper a few days later. There was a minor hiccup with the delivery, but Rothin made it right pretty quickly.
Delivery guys did a great job moving everything in and hauling everything away too. Would definitely buy from again.

The delivery guys were awesome, Jordan & I think it was George were first class, they couldn’t have been more professional and nice. The salesman, Rothin, was very helpful, patient and courteous. Many choices to look at in their spacious showroom!
We bought a new Whirlpool 4-​door stainless steel model WRX988SIBM00. The fridge looks great. We couldn’t be happier with Friedman’s service!!!

What can I say that has not already been said? This place is awesome. Their selection is to die for and prices are extremely fair. The customer service is over the top, I always ask for Iggy who knows appliances as if he were born to sell them. I will continue to be a loyal customer and send all my real estate clients as this is not just another large chain but a family establishment that makes you feel at home.

This review is for Al at Friedman’s. I ordered all my appliances from them and I was pretty upset when my dryer did not work and I am having issues with my oven not working. All companies can make mistakes, it happens. but the way Al handled it was excellent. He was not defensive and immediately called me to resolve the issues. We played a bit of phone tag but he was persistent in calling to exchange my defective dryer. So far it looks like it’s heating so I am thankful to not have to hang dry clothes anymore. Thank you Al for fixing my dryer. Five stars to the customer service received by Al!!!

Got our GE Gas Appliance here a week before thanks giving week. it was a rainy day and it was raining for the whole week. we where in the market for a gas appliance but we wanted a particular GE model with convection oven and white in color to match our other appliances. Home Depot had a model GE model for a certain sale price. However, we have to pay installation, removal of existing appliance, and Installation Kit which all added up to $ 80 dollars on top of the appliance price (delivery was free).
I knew in Friedmans they installed for free, so I called the store and requested Neel Patel (associate) to price match. Neel told me that the model is not in production and that they have a newer model and since they didn’t have the exact piece he can give me additional discount from the price of the piece i was looking. Neel was very knowledgeable about the appliance and also about other options. Neel took his time to show us other options and agreed that GE is a great choice for our budget range.
We worked out a price and in a week the day after thanksgiving we got the appliance delivered on time and in good quality. we also got 5 year warranty for $ 100. the price we paid for the appliance was reasonably less than the best online price available and is the best price as of to date. The model we got was a GE free standing 5 burner with gas convection oven. The stove works great.
Besides the best price we also got free installation, free installation kit, free move of our old electrical appliance from Kitchen to garage. This saved us another $ 80 compared to Home Depot.
Support your local business store from the general box stores like Home Depot. you can get a great deal if you have done your research and get an awesome sales associate line Neel Patel. Ask for Neel when you go there. He is great to do business with.
