Business Owner

Hunter R. Miley is the President and Managing Broker/​Owner of Total Property Solutions, Inc.(TPS), based in Pleasant Hill, CA. He has been in the Real Estate Business since 1992. He also carries a General «B» Contractors license and several Specialty Licenses. Hunter is a member in good standing with National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Contra Costa Association of Realtors and the National Association of Residential Property Managers.

His career in real estate started on the construction side of things after 17 years in the restaurant business. His drive to succeed advanced him up the ranks in record time. He eventually started buying houses, remodeling them, refinancing and cashing out, then doing it all over again. He built his own portfolioof rental properties before entering into the management of other people’s assets.

From this property owner’s perspective, the service I received from TPS was awful. TPS is so focused on maintaining its collection of tenants that they seemed to forget that I’m the one with the capital asset that allows then to stay in business. From unfulfilled promises of web-​enabled services to — and this is what I find entirely exasperating — a staff member telling me that WE were being unfair in our expectations because SHE had too many properties to cover, I was left convinced that I would never rent with them again. So I haven’t. And I’m much happier.

We have had so many issues in the home we are currently renting and nothing has been done in a timely manner and no one ever gets back to you. First when we came to view the home there was dead cockroaches in every room. The garage floor was covered in dead cockroaches, you could not take a single step without stepping on one. We had a jungle in our front and backyard that took about two weeks to get taken care off. Then we had a tub with no hot water. That took about a week for someone to repair. We had faulty wiring which would not allow the use of out washer and dryer, that took about two weeks for them to repair, perhaps more. There was also a broken down fence, that took months Currently we have a broken a/​c unit, they said a new one had recently been installed. Someone came out took at it and said they would return on Saturday. Well nobody came, I called the office and they were closed. Two weeks went by, I never heard anything. I called and left a message a week ago and have yet to hear back. I have two small children and it gets to be over 90 degrees inside the home.

From start to finish Total Property Solutions was professional and dependable during the updating/​remodeling of both my guest bath and master bathroom, as well as the tile floor install in the kitchen. Throughout the process the office staff continued to give me updates as well as forward photos to me to keep me apprised of the work. I am extremely happy with the results and I recommend them without reservation. Hunter, the owner, takes pride in his business and it is apparent by the quality work from his employees.

Total property solutions remodeled my kitchen and did a granitecrete procedure on my driveway and front porch… I give them five stars for quality and professionalism. I Highly recommend them to anybody looking to spruce up their home. My home is beautiful thanks to TPS.
