Before Dr. Dan Johnson decided to follow in his father’s footsteps in becoming a dentist, he mulled over an assortment of possibilities: a building contractor, lawyer, and even a priest. He says he always kept these professions in mind as he developed his career. For over 25 years, Dr. Johnson has been a practicing dentist, as well as a business owner. «From computer problems to plumbing to electrical work, they are all part of dentistry when you are a sole proprietor,» says Johnson. «your job can take every second of your time when you are your own boss.» Dentistry as been in the family for over 60 years. His father was a dentist for 44 years; three of which they practiced together. Between his patients, his practice, his staff, and his family, Johnson says he is thankful for the life he has been blessed with.
