Received four bids and selected Art and his team to remodel our master bathroom. Prior to them starting we decided to have them simultaneously remodel our second bathroom. (funny how these projects snowball :) We kinda blindsided them with that decision but they were very accommodating in completing one bathroom before the other so that we had «conveniences».
During the master bath project we had setbacks that involved unforeseen dry rot, inadequate tile materials, etc. They seamlessly (to us) took care of every issue that came up. There were of course some additional charges because the scope of work increased from the original bid. I felt very vulnerable as they could have charged me anything for the additional work. I was very pleased that the additional charges were more than fair. There were no additional charges for things like changing tile patterns, re-​positioning switches, and generally making sure everything looked finished. I think they are so seasoned that their bid anticipated homeowners will change their minds and ask for additional touches as the project progresses.
They have very positive «can do» attitude and they also cleaned up every day. Art and team, specifically Vitaly were a pleasure to do business with. We’ll use them again.

This year we decided to take the plunge and remodel the kitchen and the main bathroom. The task of selecting a reliable contractor is much like anticipating a trip to the dentist! However, we decided to move forward and selected five contractors to interview for the job. We tossed out the high and low bidders, leaving three contractors to interview.
We selected AAA Construction and Design because Art listened to what we envisioned for the kitchen and bathroom. He was on time for the initial appointment, took the measurements, and provided the most reasonable estimate of the three bidders. We were impressed with his knowledge, so we asked him to also bid on the family room and entryway.
Art and his crew arrived on time every day, worked continually through the day, and did a good job of cleaning up at the end of the day. His crew was so good, that we asked Art to bid on other areas of the home, turning this into a «whole house» remodel. His crew did very high quality work and they were very thorough in making sure we were satisfied with the quality and progress of their work. We highly recommend AAA Construction and Design for any remodeling job.

A Royal Rip Off, Shoddy Work, and Terrible Customer Service
We contracted with AAA Construction to do a simple bathroom remodel, which turned into an absolute nightmare, ending in thousands of dollars of extra expense, having to tear out and redo much of what they did, and needing to take them to court. I would give NO stars if that were an option.
They put a worker on the job, Serge, who was very difficult to communicate with, not only for the language barrier, but also for his attitude. I even let go of several details I was thinking of doing, because it was just so much trouble to communicate.
Two other contractors who were on the property for other reasons, (one, who was installing the counters, the other measuring for the glass shower door) looked at the job in process and warned me things were being done improperly.
When we asked Serge about it, he got very angry and walked off the job on the spot, never to return, leaving our bathroom torn up, unfinished, with no toilet, sinks, the tile unfinished, no lights, a mess of tiles everywhere, and a big pile of garbage in the garage.
I had two follow up calls with Andrey, one of the owners of AAA, in which he denied that anything could possibly be wrong, yet NEVER came out to look at what we were concerned about. Only after the walk-​out did I discover that Andrey was only the sales guy, and that Art, the actual foreman with knowledge about how to do things properly had NEVER set foot on the job the whole time.
We sought three other bids to finish what they left hanging. All were from licensed contractors and each independently of each other said they would not take the job unless they could rip out and redo the shower as it had been done incorrectly and they couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t leak. One said the tiling was «atrocious.»
Now that we have someone else actually finishing the job, they continue to find more things that were wrong and have to be ripped out and done over. Shoddy work throughout. Unfortunately, AAA got paid for all the hours they worked.
We now have to pay $ 4000 to rip out redo what AAA did and over $ 3000 to finish the rest of the work they abandoned, a total of $ 7000.
We have written several letters and emails asking AAA to make this right, since they had already gotten paid. No response whatsoever. We are planning to take them to small claims court. I would warn anybody against working with them. It seems like they are more interested in money than making things right.

After interviewing 5 contractors for a bathroom remodel, we decided on AAA Construction. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and with the remodel. Art and his team did a fantastic job. They helped us with recommendations on tile design, room layout etc. They were very professional, were onsite when they said they would be, cleaned up afterwards etc.
I would highly recommend them. As a testament to their work, my wife is so impressed with them, we are now having them do a second bathroom, as it now looks «old and out dated.»

We recently had Art (AAA Construction) complete our Master bathroom and walk-​in closet remodel, and could not be happier with both the finished result and also the overall stress-​free experience.
Firstly, Art is a great guy, always upbeat and has a ‘of course you can have that’ attitude. Throughout the process, Art provided a very calming approach to the construction project and nothing was a problem. He was helpful and insightful with our wants and needs, from design to materials, and has a great network of equally capable quality professionals.
As a previous referrer had mentioned, Art was the only contractor to actually provide a menu, with individual prices, of options for the work. We were able to tailor the remodel, based upon budget and priorities. Even as the process unfolded and new ideas were considered, Art provided us wiggle room to change on the go.
Art’s right-​hand-​man, Eugene, was also wonderful and provided guidance and expert opinion on many of our queries and suggestions. Eugene guided us on several key design decisions, changing our minds to follow his suggestions, which saved us from our own misguided plans.
Art’s tile man, Sergei, is also an incredible tradesman. The quality of his work far exceeded our wildest expectations. The guy is a perfectionist. His cuts and design work is artistry.
Our project was completed around the Christmas holidays, and although the timing provided some challenges with sourcing materials, Art ensured the project was completed, without any undue delay on his team’s part.
The end result of our project far exceeded our dreams.
The only words of advice are (and this is spelt out in the contract and estimates) that the estimates are for labor only, unless specifically noted, so all basic materials from tile grout to paint to light switches, are extra. This is only relevant if you’re comparing price quotes, but as far as workmanship and the overall experience, doubt you’ll find anyone that will provide the personal service, personality, and calmness that Art and his team provides.

Art and his team at AAA Construction installed recessed lighting in two rooms and ceiling fans in five. We found Art to be very competent, honest, and timely. He advised us on different options and gave accurate cost estimates. Overall he was very easy to work with and provided us with professional results. We’d certainly recommend Art and his team to others and plan to call for larger projects in the future.

Art has remodeled almost our entire home in the past 4 years. Bathrooms, kitchen, floors, and fixtures. We have always had a great experience working with Art. He is extremely professional and has worked with us to make sure that we stayed on budget and got the best quality products. I completely trust his opinion and he has a great eye for design. This past summer we purchased a home that had to be completely remodeled as it was mostly in original condition of 45 years old. We had several estimates from different construction companies and AAA Construction & Design was competitively priced and any time we had a question in the bidding process, there was always a quick response.
We chose AAA Construction, Art helped us to redesign three bathrooms which all turned out amazing. They are beautiful and the tile was set very nicely. AAA installed canned lighting all over the house where it never existed before, they relocated walls and a laundry room, and installed new flooring. He provided great design ideas.
AAA Construction also finished in the estimated time that we initially agreed to and his team worked hard and very thorough.
We finally moved into our renovated home and enjoying the home. If anything needs more attention, AAA comes right back out to address it.

We had our bathroom remodeled and it came out outstanding. Everyone that sees it loves it. We had a few people come to look at it and decided on AAA construction. Art and Andrey were extremely helpful with material selection and design.
We then had them do our crown molding which once more came out beautiful.

Of all the companies I called to provide estimates for an addition and fire place rebuild, a couple never showed up, a couple never followed up with a written estimate. One of the big companies even sent me an unsolicited estimate without ever coming out to my home, not sure what the story is behind that.
Of the companies that did show up, only Art went up on the roof to inspect and evaluate the chimney, roof, and gutters. He also took pictures with his digital camera to show me the current condition. A couple of days later, I received a clearly outlined estimate via email, which I accepted a week later after doing my due diligence by looking up state licenses, and any online reviews. The before and after pictures on his site of past work were also helpful in my decision to go with AAA.
Art’s crew showed up early and stayed late the first day of work and for the next couple of days Art called to keep me updated on the progress. The finished work is spectacular! I would definitely recommend AAA to my family, friends and anyone reading!!!

After doing research and getting numerous bids over the past few months I just about had it with the overpriced and unprofessional contractors, and was ready to take the plunge. AAA construction was one of the recommendations my friend gave me to call to repair my bathroom that was in dire need of a face lift. Not only was I pleased with how professional their staff was and the exceptional work that they did in a short amount of time but the price was on the lower end of the other quote’s that I have gotten. We hired AAA about 4 years ago the first time to do our Kitchen, 3 bathrooms, floors, recessed lighting and crown moldings. They did such a great job that it inspired my neighbors who hired them for a Kitchen remodel as well. Then 2 years ago we rehired them to do a stamped concrete patio.
