We are visiting from PA and needed some help with my husband’s skin issues. Not knowing a dr in this area, we looked on Unilocal and found Dr Anthony. He saw us that day. He was prompt and efficient. We were very pleased and would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Dean Anthony has been my dermatologist for the past three years and I could not be happier! On my last visit he went way beyond to treat another issue I was having at the same time. He could of easily said go see your primary Doctor but instead said let’s take of this the right way! Gave me a lab slip, antibiotics and I was on my way to recovery! Followed up personally to see how I was doing. I NEVER have to wait to see him. Always on time and his entire staff are always so pleasant and helpful! I will soon be taking my daughter in to see him. See you soon!

Very quick and easy to set up an appointment. Met with Dr. Anthony and he quickly diagnosed my condition and prescribed an effective medication. I really appreciated his explanations and quick diagnosis. A true professional. Thank you, Dr. Anthony! Highly recommend.

There seems to be a *new member* working the front desk. I was only 5 minutes late and she said «well, we may have to reschedule you to come back another time, we have an surgery/​procedure that just walked in before you…»
Turns out it was a little stunt this new staffer plays on you when you arrive late even if only 5 minutes. I am really hoping Dr. Anthony does actually speak with this person about this little rouse of hers, VERY annoying and hoping that Dr. Anthony hasn’t lost any *loyal patients* in the interim.

5 stars for the staffs work in the front and behind the desk. They are so helpful, and sweet! And Dr. Anthony is an experience and knowledge one.

In reading these reviews (I always peruse the negative ones so I can try to figure if some people just like to complain, or if they’re genuine. I couple of really low ones are just complainers) My recent experience (first time I’ve been back in 10 yrs) was very efficient and spot on. I got right in, had minimal paperwork, (took me 1 minute to update) and when he prescribed a very expensive cream, (I discovered when I went to fill it) I called back in for an alternative medicine and they referred me to a site that offers medicines at a fraction of CVS’s price. Who does this? Awesome service. Nice guy. Make sure and see that all not-​recommended views are 5 stars too. Not sure why they hide them…

I had a lesion on my face for my whole life, and it was always either misdiagnosed as a strawberry birthmark, or in the case of one terrible dermatologist I visited as a teenager, just not diagnosed at all.
Dr. Anthony listed off two different things it could be the very first day I saw him and had me in the biopsy chair on my first visit. Then when the pathologist misread what it was, Dr. Anthony called me back personally to correct the diagnosis and even made sure his receptionist followed up with me to make sure I was scheduling to have it removed. Additionally, he was very gentle and had excellent bedside manner, and always called me, the patient, his first priority.
If I had any complaints at all it would be that he rattled off the latin doctor-​speak terms faster than I could understand him, but eventually when I got my diagnosis I did have time to write it down.
I am so pleased with the care I received from Dr. Anthony and will see him again should any other concerns arise.

The doctor knows my insurance sucks, so he actually went around the corner to research which treatment options would be the most affordable out of pocket, without being asked. I’ve never had a doctor do that for me before.

No complaints here. Dr. Anthony is knowledgeable and always answered any questions I had. The office staff is spectacular. No problems with appointments, seen right away, and most efficient. Thanks!

I was refered to a dermatologist by my primary Dr., but when I called to make an appt. they were a month and a half out. This told me, that the Dr. was more concerned with Spa treatment dermatology. I found Dr. Anthony’s on line, called, and was seen right away. My first impression was his front office, Grant! A lovely man, who is so personable! He had my new patient paperwork ready to go! I’m thrilled with Dr. Anthony! He took care of my concerns, is very knowledgable, and he explained the minor procedure in detail, so I wasn’t nervous at all! He didn’t keep me waiting, as my experience with other Dr.‘s, and he was quick and thorough!

I appreciate that Dr. Anthony’s staff was fast in scheduling my visit and checking me in as a first time patient. As a fair skinned blonde, I’m very aware of my risks with sun exposure and scheduled the routine visit to look over my moles and freckles. Dr. Anthony did a careful inspection of my scalp but otherwise the visit felt very rushed. I started with all my clothes on (which is the first inspection that ever happened like this) so I didn’t feel like every angle of my body was being observed in the way I needed. At the end, he wrote in his notebook precautionary items (ie sunscreen protection) as he was telling me, so it felt as if he was fulfilling his script rather than advising me for my safety. I have no doubt he’s a great doctor, but for a sensitive subject I needed more attention and personalization.

Needed a new dermatologist in network for United Healthcare. Saw the Unilocal reviews and thought I would try this office. I went in today and saw Dr. Anthony within 5 minutes of my arrival even though I was early. Just a little bit of paperwork for a new patient and all very reasonable. Dr. Anthony was in right away and got down to business. Pleasant man and stayed on task – asked me about the things I had listed as my reasons for coming in – all in order and explained each. Then he gave a little more info on the background of my issue – I am showering in hot water and using too much stuff on my acne. Very basic and simple. I did get one medication ordered and will return in a month for followup. I liked his laid back style and he didn’t automatically zap or cut anything off! Liked the whole experience.

I’ve visited Dr. Anthony on several occasions. He’s always been polite and direct. Although I wouldn’t say that he goes out of his way to look for any problems beyond what you made the appointment for, he is thorough with his examinations. Of all the visits I’ve made, I’ve never had to wait longer than a few minutes to be seen by the doctor.

I have seen Dr. Anthony for 4 years. I am a redhead (so was he), and I appreciate his concern and understanding of and for fair skin. He is knowledgeable, doesnt ruffle easily, is always on time and has consistently spent enough time with me answering all my questions and concerns. I have always felt he had enough time for me and his staff is very warm and comforting.

Unilocal reviews failed me on this referral. I did not have a good visit with Dr. Anthony and will be continuing my Dermatologist search for someone who has the time for me. I was in his office and spent more time filling out his paperwork than with the doctor, who seemed preoccupied and in a rush. He obviously didn’t even bother to read my paperwork since one of the first questions «his» form asks is if I am interested in being checked for skin cancer, which I checked YES. Well, that didn’t happen at this visit nor was it brought up. I don’t plan on returning to his office to be checked since he doesn’t have the time for me or for my skin.

Dr. Anthony treats both my daughter and I. After seeing several dermatologists over the years, including a real quack that is in the bunkers bordered by Stanley, Murietta, and Fenton in Livermore who wanted to charge me $ 3K for dermabrasion (which would have been exactly the wrong treatment), Dr. Anthony immediately identified the proper course of treatment. Three days later the results were dramatic. Thanks, Dr. Anthony! I highly recommend him. Very professional, personable, low key, and direct.

I went in to see the doctor for a couple of skin concerns I had. The office was very nice and professional. I was a new patient, and my paperwork was awaiting me when I arrived. I was seen immediately by the doctor (no middle man taking my blood pressure or anything — I did have a 9:10 AM appt though). The doctor was very friendly, knew right away what conditions were affecting me and treated them there on the spot. Overall, a good experience.
