Expressions Dance & Arts of Pleasanton

This is a wonderful dance studio. My daughter did 2 years of ballet here and we have many friends that send their children to this studio. My daughter loved both dance instructors that she had at Expressions. Their last recital in Spring of 2015 had some really cute dances for the little dancers and they let many of the older dancers put together their own performances for the recital, including someone singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow. They really showcase the talents of their dancers.

Excellent studio. I visited several other studios in the area and felt that Expressions was the best fit for my daughter. We have not been disappointed. Sandy, Wendy and all the dance teachers are the best and very welcoming. This studio is family friendly, provides great instruction and just the right amount of competitive spirit for my daughter. My daughter started dancing in junior high, and has thrived at Expressions Dance and Arts. Her dance teacher Wendy, is a great instructor and mentor and I have seen my daughter’s dance skills improve dramatically and just as important, her confidence and self-​esteem. I highly recommend Expressions Dance and Arts.

We have now completed a school-year’s worth of dance lessons with Expressions, and it was a positive experience all around.
–Ms. Wendy, the dance teacher, is quite obviously a professional dancer who has a natural talent for working with children.
–Sandy, the owner of Expressions, started the company after years and years of her daughters dancing at other establishments. What she brings to the table is a desire to fix the problems she has encountered along the way. I found her to be highly responsive to any little concern or suggestion that I had. She is highly organized, easy to reach over email, and she is often at the studio during classes so it’s easy to chat in person.
The classes are priced comparable to other local classes. The parking around the studio is ample (even with all the SUV/​mini vans we’re all driving). And one especially nice thing about the location is that it is a short walk over to one of the play grounds in the Sports Park. (So people dragging younger siblings along have something to do during the 40 or so minutes of class.)
If you are looking for a dance class for your child in Pleasanton, I would recommend Expressions.

What a great, nurturing, dance studio. My niece has really come out of shell and is loving every minute of it.
