Alan helped us prune 2 trees and bushes in our back yard. One tree was overrun with dead ivy. He cleared out that tree and now it is beautiful. Great job!

Alan was a no show for an estimate. I even called him a few weeks later (today) to give him a chance to show up this time. Instead of saying that he’s sorry about the no show — his response was «we are all busy and you need to be patient» !!!

Alan did a great job to trim two trees in front of my house today. Strongly recommend Alan due to: 1. He is a professional tree service guy, not a traditional gardener. He knows how to handle the tree trim/​cut correctly. 2. He has professional stump grinding tools. 3. He trim the tree very carefully and even take care for very small branches. 4. Since he owns the business, the price is also very reasonable. 5. He has liability insurance.

Alan & his helper did a fantastic job in removing several large trees. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Very competitive price, extremely professional, quick service, left everything neat and clean.

Alan did a great job pruning 7 trees at our home-​a photinia; redbud; Japanese maple; weeping cherry; 2 crêpe myrtles; and, 2 birch trees. Alan made the job look easy but I’m sure that must come with his years of experience. He was nice enough not only to allow me to watch what he was doing, but to also explain why he took some branches off but left others, so that if I wanted to, I could tackle this job myself in the future. Something tells me that I’ll be calling Alan instead! I would highly recommend Fast Response Tree Service!

As other reviewer said Alan’s quote is super competitive indeed.
He knows a lot about trees, he advised us to kill a little tree which was planted by previous owner because when it grow bigger it will harm the basement of the house. – which was very helpful because we knows nothing about plants. They did some little extra job for free which we didn’t even ask for, we are happy about the results and highly recommend them to everyone!

I called Fast Response for Stump grinding service from their ad in Craigslist. Alan, the owner, answered the phone and was able to provide me with an estimate just from the description of the job. He was able to schedule the job at a time that worked for me. On the day of the job, he called to say he was in terrible traffic and would be late. No problemo. I really appreciated the call. When the got to my house, Alan and Dan swung into action, and in a jiffy had the job DONE. Where there once was a stump was now a big hole, and a very happy customer. I would use Fast Response again in a heartbeat. In fact, while the job was going on, my neighbor wandered over and asked Alan to look at a job at his house, which is now scheduled for next week.

Alan and his crew were a pleasure to deal with. He gave the most competitive quote for the job. He arrived on time and completed the job on time. Not once did I feel that I needed to give him or his crew any guidance. The tree cutting, fence removal, fence replacement, stump grinding, etc, were done with utmost care and professionalism.

Wow, how is it possible that I didn’t leave a review for Alan?!? If you look over my other reviews, you’ll see I got solar installed on our house 2.5 years ago (LOVE IT).
Well, one of the things we had to do was get our trees trimmed to keep them from blocking the $$ generating Sun.
I called a bunch of people and got quotes and information from a handful of tree specialists. I found Alan to be the perfect combination of value (good price), friendliness, responsibility, and quality of work!
I also really liked that Alan is an I.S.A Certified Arborist! A few of the guys that friends recommended seemed to have questionable experience and training.
