Worked with Kris to list my home in Pleasanton. Wasn’t sure what to expect for price or process, Kris just took over and suggested improvements, dialed in the house and we ended up getting 5 offers, 4 well above asking price — closing on one 40k above asking. Compared to other homes listed around the same time, I felt my home was presented the best with Kris staging, adding fresh flowers and all the little things that make an impact to potential buyers.

Kris is amazing. She worked with us over an extensive period of time to find a wonderful house in a location that we love. She worked hard to negotiate a great deal for us in our home purchase and followed through long after the close of escrow to make sure all of the details of the sale happened as they should. Kris also manged the sale of our home. We got offers after our first open house and sold the house for a great price. The sale went so smoothly. I can’t recommend Kris and Tyler enough — they are by far the most professional and dedicated people to work with for the purchase or sale of a home.

When it came time to sell, we sought out our previous realtor but found she had left to move to Southern California. So I went on the hunt, found Kris Moxley on the internet, and engaged her. My husband researched agents in the area and narrowed down our agent, Tyler Moxley as our buyer’s agent based on the positive Unilocal reviews. We were looking for our first time buyer home in the Tri-​Valley around Pleasanton and Dublin area. At our first meeting at his office we brought in a list of our needs vs wants, briefed him on what we were looking for, a pretty wide range because quite honestly we had not narrowed down exactly what we wanted ourselves. As naïve first time buyers we were approaching the home buying experience looking for a «deal». We were not in a rush, we started scoping out the communities in late 2011 to try to narrow down our favorites.
By the time we narrowed down our favorites, we found ourselves in a midst of a bidding war market when we were ready to buy in early 2012. Low inventory, low interest mortgage rates, demand was high for entry level 2 – 3 bedroom homes, and competing in a market with many all cash buyers (investors). Anything decent that came up on the market was quickly «pending» in a matter of 2 weeks or less from listing date. We were looking for a «deal» and attempted to bid below asking prices despite Tyler’s coaching, but of course, we were then outbidded with multiple offers on the properties. Tyler was very professional and coached us throughout the process. With his expertise and learning through the bidding process, we ended up finding a home we absolutely LOVE in Dublin. Throughout the process Tyler was very patient with us and we searched for a home for about 6 months. Never once had we felt pressured and we didn’t have to sign any sort of contract for him to represent us in advance as our buyer’s agent to commit to purchasing a home. Tyler is extremely knowledgeable of the current market and down to the granular details of the communities, developers, layouts of each models, and down to what is in store for city planning. We appreciated the high tech digital offer system which made placing an offer quick and simple which is advantageous to the bidder, no paper/​pen/​meetings! We were also able to count on Tyler being responsive, he showed us properties to fit around our work schedules as soon as a unit was listed. His network of referred inspectors and title companies are a top notch group that made this entire process seamless.

Being a short-​sale transaction, we expect some complications during the process but it’s been easy (closed within 2 months) with the professional help from Tyler. I just want to express my thanks to Tyler for willing to help me out when I contacted him even though I was working with another realtor. Kris made the sale of our home so easy. Her advertising and marketing strategies were top notch. I just closed on my first home and it was a real pleasure to work with Tyler Moxley from the first house i saw until finally closing last week. My situation wasn’t the most straightforward either. We worked to find the right home for 8 months. That’s right — 8 months. Realtors don’t get a single cent until they close a deal so you’d think that they would start pressuring you into making decisions when you’re not ready, but that was never the case with Tyler. He was always extremely professional and always acted in my best interest — not just another realtor trying to make a quick sale and collect commission. Tyler was always available on short notice and would accomodate showings around my work schedule.
In the current market full of short sales and foreclosures, there are many complications added to purchasing a home. You have to deal with banks, multiple lienholders, wait for approvals, etc., which can be a headache, and if your realtor doesn’t know how to deal with these added complications, things can get messy real fast. Tyler is very experienced in dealing with these transactions and was able to handle everything we encountered throughout the purchasing process. There were multiple instances when sellers would try to make me pay for things that I shouldn’t have to, and Tyler went to bat for me every time and made things right. As I said earlier, my situation wasn’t the most straightforward — first-​time homebuyer with FHA financing trying to buy a foreclosed condo. Tyler made it happen!
