Although there have been quite a few dentists since I first started getting dental care at New Day Dental; I have always been pleased with my treatments. The office staff is always friendly and take care of my needs. Today I saw Dr. Evangelista and was very impressed with how meticulous he was and the time he took to do my crown and cleaning with minimal discomfort. I highly recommend Dr. Evangelista.

New Day Dental has highly qualified staff. The staff is very pleasant. Dana is a very knowledgeable RDA. Dr. Ayman and Dr. E are top notch DDS. My first experience with this office was wonderful. Dr. Ayman put me at ease when he performed my exam. Once all was said and done Daisy and Vicky help me out at the front desk. These to ladies are so NICE! When I entered the business I was greeted with nothing, but warm SMILES! You can tell that everyone at New Day Dental are more than co-​workers. You get the family feel when you walk in I’m truly happy and blessed to have found a dental office as this.

AAA/​ALL STAR office what can I say, I hate going to the dentist but Dr. Ayman is absolutely the best. He is very detailed and cares about his patients. He is very knowledgeable and he stays current on all the new developments in his field. Daisy, Vicky and Dana are absolutely top notch.

New Day Dental is the best, most professional dentist office I have ever been to. Before my appointment I was very nervous about seeing a new dentist. However, I soon found I had no reason to be. Daisy greeted me and even offered me a beverage while I was filling out paperwork, which is unusual for a dental office. This is an example of their amazing customer service. Dana, a dental assistant, took x-​rays, and put me at ease with friendly conversation. Dr. Ayman was very kind, and professional. It was great to talk to someone who moved here from the same area I grew up in. As my teeth are sensitive and I have a low pain tolerance it was wonderful to have a cleaning that was so gentle and thorough.
Both Dr. Ayman and Victoria, the dental hygienist, were very kind and answered all of my questions. (I had a lot of them and they were very patient).
Before I left Daisy patiently answered all of my questions regarding further treatment and payment options. She even told me about a plan that will save me a good deal of money. Thank you all so much! I have been raving about my experience to my friends and highly recommend New Day Dental!

My husband and I were patients of Dr. Wishart for over 25 years and we were happy to drive from Danville to Pleasanton for our twice yearly cleaning and checkups. When Dr. Wishart retired we wanted to stay with New Day Dental but were very disappointed with the revolving door of doctors and especially all the work they told us both we needed! We were told we needed multiple crowns and had to have existing fillings redone. We did have much of the recommended work done, but the recommendations for additional work never seemed to end. We have double dental coverage so money was not the issue, the huge issue was that Dr. Wishart NEVER recommended any of this work and now all of the sudden he leaves and BOTH my husband and I need all this work. Sounds fishy if you ask me!
We decided to change dentists, and after my recent appointment with the new dentist, he recommended NOTHING! Stay away! Also, my insurance company issued me a check for over-​payment of $ 500 and instead of mailing it to me they sent it to New Day Dental. I had to call multiple times to get my check, I have doubts they would have sent it without my calling!

Victoria was fantastic! She explained everything she was doing. Was thorough in cleaning and made sure to be careful of my sensitive areas. Feels great to have clean teeth

Very friendly and welcoming office. The staff was great especially the assistant Dana. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Would definately come back again.

I recommend going to new day dental, the receptionist Daisy and Vikki, totally awesome! They welcome you all the time. My experience here was great everytime I have an appointment Dr. Ayman and the assistance Dana and Donna always make you feel comfortable when you are about to get your teeth work up. Victoria clean your teeth and always recommend what need to be done. All around great staff!

HONESTLY, I can’t say enough about VICTORIA. She is genuinely the most thorough hygienist I’ve been to and continue to see. There is no detail left untouched. All plague removed. It’s been 6 years and I continue to appreciate her consistent quality work. This is the most important part of maintenance and thus this role is so significant. I like knowing I am working with only the best.

I’ve been coming to New Day Dental for 21 years! I saw Victoria today, who did my cleaning. She’s awesome and so friendly. I always feel comfortable during my treatment and all of the staff are very experienced and provide great care! Check them out if you need a new dentist office.

Purchased a Groupon for a cleaning and check up there. Was greated very kindly By Daisy and then again by the woman I spoke on the phone with Vicky. They plowed through my paperwork very quickly which i appreciated since i was there on my lunch break. The doctor and Hygienist were equally as nice and professional. The were very efficient and to the point something else i appreciated. I will for sure be going back there again for all my dental needs and would recommend then whoever else asked.

Victoria, my hygienist for last 13 years is great. Her experience shows in her professionalism.

I have been coming to new day dental for about 20 years. The practice has changed ownership in the past few years but the quality of service has not changed. It’s still great.
The new dentists are nice and friendly and are very willing to get to know you and all about you.Dr. Fontain and Dr. Aynine are super friendly and willing to be helpful in any way.
When you walk in Vicki or Daisy greats you with a big hello. You usually are taken right away but if not there is free coffee and snacks.
Dana is the friendliest Dental assistant ever and Victoria has been cleaning my teeth for years and they are in great shape. I hope you will like this practice like I do.

I decided to go here after reading Unilocal reviews and I was super happy that I did! The moment I walked in, Vikki and front desk staff welcomed me and it did not feel like I had walked in to a dentist but rather some nice modern lobby. Victoria who helped me with cleaning of my teeth had 30 years of experience and it clearly reflected in her professionalism and her work. I was super happy with work she did! The dentist dr. Ayman was also great and very friendly.
All in all a great experience and I would recommend this place to everyone who wants quality, professional, friendly and prompt service!

Things have changed quite a bit here in the past year or so. I do not trust the new dentist on staff. He told me I needed fillings… for preventative measures… but nothing is wrong with my teeth. Um… no.
Also, I have had issues with billing, when according to my insurance Explanation of Benefits, I should not be getting charged.
I would no longer recommend this place for anything other than a simple cleaning, as the hygienists are great. I would recommend a second opinion for anything more.

I’ve been going to New Day Dental for close to four years now and they always treat me right. I’ve been fortunate enough to only need to get cleanings but my doctors have always been great. They’re always so personable but very thorough with their work. They’re very reasonable with cancellations and really accommodate your work schedule should you need to reschedule. Vikki and Daisy are also the nicest and most helpful ladies you could ever hope to see! New Day Dental will be my dentist for a long long time.

I have to say before I write this that I had really high hopes for this place. There were a lot of good reviews, so I called and made an appointment to get a checkup and a cleaning.
My cleaning was definitely 5 stars. I forget the DHs name (Victoria maybe?) She was real gentle and sweet (and prepped me for the invisalign offer I was about to get)
Dr ayman was personable, made a effort to get to know me on an individual level, real professional, but a little pushy.
I told them I had a wisdom molar causing slight pain but I didn’t want to book anything until after my vacation. I left for vacation 10 days later and having oral surgery before that did not sound like the best idea. I felt pressured to book it for the following week because according to them they could go 2 – 3 months with no openings for this, and how I would be so miserable if I ran a low grade fever or had something happen while on Vacation.
Its a good thing I didn’t do it because I came home to a bill finding out that they ARE NOT IN NETWORK for me, even though being told otherwise. I had even sent them a referral and I felt terrible because I told her they were in network for us.
Now, they did cancel the extra charges since they didn’t want me to feel as if they deceived me, but now i’m trying to get the X-​rays that were taken so I can schedule my surgery with someone else, and IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE.
First off, they emailed me SOMEONE ELSES XRAYS. scary to think that they are so careless with peoples personal medical records. Its a HIPPA violation, and i’m extremely upset about this.
i then replied and let them know that THOSE WERENT MY RECORDS, so they email me the correct ones but didn’t send me all the xrays they took.
I called to request the Pano they took, and now they’re telling me i have to wait for someone else t pull them– because NO ONE ELSE IN THE OFFICE KNOWS HOW TO SEND THEM OR TRANSFER THEM OVER.
I asked to speak to the manager (Daisy) but apparently she wont be back until tomorrow either.
Overall I would avoid this place at all costs.
Not worth them being careless with your personal information (hopefully the HIPPA complaint i submitted helps them change things around)

If you are told you have multiple URGENT dental issues that will cost you an excessive amount of money after a routine cleaning with Doctor Ayman I recommend you get a second opinion ASAP!
I am writing this review of my personal experience not to bash New Day Dental or its employees. However, because of my experience I have to question the integrity & ethics of Dr. Ayman. As a patient you should be able to trust the dentist you are seeing and not have to get second & third opinions on their recommendations.
Details of my Experience:
Yesterday I went to New Day Dental for the first time for a teeth cleaning, I was referred to New Day Dental by a very close friend who has gone there for a while but who has not ever had Dr. Ayman as her dentist.
With the information I have today, my appointment yesterday was even worse than I thought when I was leaving the office. (Note: I am obviously not a Dentist and admittedly do not have any expertise in the field). This is simply my experience with New Day Dental and specifically Dr. Ayman.
After my teeth cleaning (by Victoria who was nice), Dr. Ayman came in to do a check and talk with me. He put up my x-​rays and told me the Dentist who did my fillings (my fillings are about a year old and I have had no symptoms or issues) made a grave mistake in opting for fillings instead of porcelain crowns, the integrity of a majority of the teeth he filled was highly compromised and very soon this would lead to cracking, breaking, nerve damage, and I can end up having to have root canals AND crowns if I do not address this immediately by replacing 4 – 5 fillings with crowns (like literally he said IMEEDIATELY («this needs to be done yesterday») and hovered around reception when I was leaving to ensure my crown appointment was made ASAP… but more on that piece later).
During the appointment I told Dr. Ayman about the small piece I thought I felt come off while eating a month ago and he said it was a big hole/​gap that needed to be addressed «yesterday», and with a crown. The conversation with him lasted a good 15 min, just focused on the need for crowns and the terrible things that would happen if I did not get the fillings replaced with crowns asap.
The receptionist then gave me an estimated bill for 1 crown, my out of pocket expense for the 1 crown would be approx. $ 750 – 800 and that’s with the great dental plan coverage I have through work & secondary coverage through my dad! Based on his strong view that I needed 4 – 5 crowns, I would be paying THOUSANDS of dollars out of my own pocket to get this all done!
Obviously this was a lot for me to process, I was genuinely stressed & worried even though I had just done the fillings less than a year ago. But, having no dental background and limited experience I knew no better, believed what he said, and thought it was more than likely the correct & necessary course of action. After we finished discussing & Dr. Ayman left the room I did my Unilocal review (5 stars) for a Sonicare toothbrush :-/​
The receptionist made an appointment for early Feb. for me to come in for the crowns. I was hesitant to even make the appointment but Dr. Ayman hovered the reception area the entire time and asked me why I could not come before February for the crown to be done since they open early and close late on some days.
The next thing I did was call the previous dentist in San Francisco who did my fillings, he told me he does not agree with this dentist, to «run» to get a second opinion, and that if crowns (vs. fillings) were in my best interest he would have made a hell of a lot more money off at me at the time but that his goal was to do the best job FOR me, not what made him the most money. He said overall he felt Dr. Ayman’s recommendation was overly aggressive, definitely not an emergency, and just unnecessary since I was having no problems
My co-​worker recommended a dentist close to our work whom she has seen for many years and really likes, I just crossed my fingers his office could fit me and the appointment would bring clarity, not confusion.
This morning I had my appointment with the new Dentist in Redwood City (again, he came highly recommended). I had New Day send over all my x-​rays and stuff from yesterday to the new office. The new dentist also did a few additional x-​rays of his own, throughly examined me, and said my fillings were fine (He said my former dentist did an excellent job)!! He actually said it is saddening how people in his field could say something to a patient, like what was said to me yesterday (again, I was not only told I needed crowns but that this was an URGENT matter). Re: the piece that came off – very minor, he fixed it on the spot w/​o a shot!
This experience was SO stressful and is not something I wish for anyone to experience! I am just grateful to the two great dentists (Dr. Nogueiro in San Francisco & Dr. Cohen [Rubinchik & Cohen] in RwC) who worked through this situation with me.

I’ve been coming to New Day Dental for as long as I can remember. Everyone here is friendly and goes the extra mile to make sure your teeth/​gums/​jaw remain healthy.
In the last couple years, I’ve been seeing Megan to have my teeth cleaned. She is by far one of the best people I have ever had clean my teeth. I’m not a huge fan of the dentist because I don’t like anything to do with the mouth, but Megan always makes me feel comfortable and helps take my mind off of the fact that I have sharp objects poking around my mouth. Megan is gentle, and she always gets the job done. My teeth and gums feel clean and healthy every time. She is so sweet and I always feel like I’m talking to a good friend when I see her. She even remembers the names of people I’ve only brought up once… six months prior to said appointment.
I highly recommend this facility, especially to those who find the dentist scary or uncomfortable to go to. And if you get the chance to come here, request Megan to clean your teeth! Thanks for an awesome experience, guys!
