Once in a while, I come here for lunch. Really convenient for me because its a block from work. Great food(kinda pricy), wonderful staff and a clean restaurant. The crew knows how to treat their customers right.

Been here a few times, take out, and the services was good. Today I went in and sat down, services was fast, good and when I was looking at the menu while sitting on the table with my food I front of me. An older lady which I think is the owner thought my food was not correct, so she checked up on me and my friend to make sure everything is good. Good customer service. Will go again, and have already told all my coworkers about this place.

Remarkably poor customer service. Not very well prepared breakfast items. Scrambled eggs were awful.

Cute restaurant, decent food, the worst service. The food is extremely overpriced. I paid $ 7 dollars for a sandwich the size of my palm. Not to mention that the waitress got my order wrong two times. Desserts on the other hand were heavenly. Not worth the price, but still delicious none the less.

Met somebody here for a business lunch the other day. I liked my sandwich, plenty of meat and hearty portion of bacon. I also liked the selection of drinks that they had. As far as meeting with somebody to talk about business… It is definitely on the casual side. Tables are small enough so that even though there were a lot of people, I didn’t feel like I was yelling to be heard. If I was meeting somebody close by, I would have no problem going back.

Good food, friendly faces, fast service. Very consistent in quality. That sums it up. I’ve been here at least a dozen times and have tried most things on their menu already. The ladies working here are always so happy, and it makes my day. The food here is consistently good, nothing fancy. The thanksgiving turkey and the grilled eggplant sandwiches are my personal favorites. The lunch crowd does build around 12:30 every day. So get here a little earlier if you need a table.

Had the paradise club salad. Looked and sounded great on the menu. But alas, it had no dressing, the turkey was dry, and I ended up drinking a lot of water to try to get the food down. It was pretty busy and it is hard to find table, so go early during the lunch hour. Also, would suggest not going with large groups, as it is hard to put tables together for a large party. Pricing reasonable.

One of the biggest rip-offs you’ll see. They actually have different prices for hot and cold sandwiches. They will charge extra for tomato on a hot sandwich but it’s included as «free» on cold sandwiches. There is an older woman who never smiles who seems to be in charge. Here’s another example: The menu changes again when you order the same sandwich whether it’s hot or cold. You can order the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich which comes with Pepper jack cheese but if you order the same sandwich from the grill it won’t have pepper jack cheese(it will be another type of cheese) go figure. Most of the girls are nice but don’t go near this place since you might get the other woman who doesn’t care one bit about the customer. Today they lost my business and I spend about $ 300 a month for lunch there.

I worked across the street for over a year so you can imagine how many quick lunches(and breakfasts) I grabbed here. The food, menu, and quality were consistent over that span of time. You can also see the owner there everyday with his daughter, and they have very little turnover there which really promotes their family type atmosphere. I will say that when Cindy joined the team all my coworkers and I would rave about how she’s such a ray of sunshine on our workday, so we started to visit her almost daily hah. I’ve eaten almost one of everything there, and they accommodated all my substitutions. They items are all okay. Nothing that’s going to make you go out of your way to go there if it’s not convenient. They also have a s’mores bar that is so delicious and terrible for you at the same time. The only star that comes off for me is I thought it was a tad overpriced for some of the menu items. Lunch ends up around $ 10 on average. Unfortunately I switched jobs to the South Bay so I won’t be visiting again most likely, but I will have fond memories of this place. Thank you!

I LOVE this place, my office get’s to-go from there at least once a week. So fresh and their bread is amazing, especially the focaccia! I suggest if you’re getting a sandwich, ask for the bread toasted. And if, if you’re picking up a larger to-go order, double check your bag. Sometimes a side, or something small, might have been forgotten. Other than that, this pace is the best! Oh, and try the oatmeal chocolate chunk cookie, it’s seriously AMAZING!

Great menu options and yummy food. Food is ready quickly and the servers are friendly. Tastes like a home cooked meal. My favorite items are the tuna melt and chicken taco salad. They have a pretty good system for take out items. I call ahead and the food is ready in 5 mins. Can get crowded during lunch time so plan accordingly.

The 4 stars are for customer service, environment, and extensive menu choices. This is a mom&pop type of lunch/breakfast spot in the Hacienda business park area; and was introduced to me by a co-worker who’s been a patron to their establishment for well over 10+ years. They always have 2 wonderful, smiling ladies that honestly make you feel right at home. It takes me back to an elementary bake sale — very wholesome, all American, and welcoming. This is probably Sweet and Savory’s greatest feature. They have a really great extensive menu for both breakfast and lunch, specializing in deli style sandwiches, with daily specials and fresh pastries and baked goods. Fresh ingredients and made to order — really great! They are missing one star, because I’ve always found the flavor to be a little bland for my taste and a little expensive — but to be expected to compete with your typical chain restaurants. Check it out! =)

Really great lunch spot if you work in Pleasanton. Everything is reasonably priced and fresh. The specials are always good and the cookies are awesome!

It’s a sandwich… joy. Not super impressive. Kinda crowded, not exactly a service place. You get in line, order and pay for your food, they give you a number, bring you your food when it’s ready. Good lunch place, quick, fast, no questions. Good cookies.

The company I work for(pretty much down the street) order breakfast from here for all of us! We had the breakfast burritos(veggie, ham, various flavours) before, and they were amazing. We also had a scrambled dish. I think it was Chris and Kalli’s Scramble with bacon, and it’s delicious! I have not physically been to the restuarant yet, so I’m going to withhold a star on the rating until I visit. :) Tldr; Tried various dishes, very tasty!

OK, I’ve been coming here for four years now; a lot more frequently in the past six months since I moved to Pleasanton. I’m not sure if they took my original remarks to heart, or they’ve just mellowed with age, or I’ve just learned the ground rules, but the staff here couldn’t be nicer. This really is an undiscovered gem, especially for breakfast. Free wifi, plenty of space, not too noisy, very good food and respectable coffee. And let me reiterate, they really are nice, friendly folks that work here.

I have ordered breakfast items numerous times from sweet and savory. From the vegetarian breakfast burrito, the yummy scramble, eggs, bacon and toast. Now lunch has been good in the past(chili with a side salad, pesto chicken sandwich with a side of fruit and even a warm sandwich). However, today was a little disappointing as I ordered a turkey club only to find mealy tomatoes, only a few pieces of dry turkey and bacon crumbles. Now if I were having a cob salad or a baked potato, the crumbles would be fine. As I ate my turkey and bacon crumble sandwich, most of the crumble was raining down onto my plate. I don’t make it a habit of using a spoon to eat my sandwich, in this case I needed to make an exception. The salad I got on the side had the same mealy tomatoes and I didn’t get the dressing I specifically requested(had balsamic instead of ranch). I’m all about giving 2 and sometimes 3rd and 4th chances. I’m hoping my next order is not as disappointing as this one was. Until next time.

This place is good if you want café type food. I get lunch to go here at least once a week on my lunch breaks. They have really good salads but they never put enough dressing so I always ask for extra. Their baked potatoes and sandwiches are also really good. It gets busy around lunch time so I suggest you order to go!
