I had a previous disc injury that my spine dr had thought I had aggravated, and recommended me to Dr. Walsh. After taking x-​rays, he determined it was a sprain in my back. After talking he adjusted my back, and i came back the next day for another adjustment. After just those 2 sessions, I feel WAY better! 2 days ago, i couldn’t walk upright, and every movement was torture for my lower back. Now, I can walk upright, I’m not in as much pain, and best of all, I FINALLY was able to sleep through the night without the pain waking me up. It’s been 4 weeks since I’ve had such a luxury! I can’t say enough how happy I am that I visited Dr. Walsh!

Please don’t be like me! I always thought Chiropractors were Quacks. Not only that, I suffered endlessly from back and joint pain, but refused to tell my doctors because I didn’t want to have a pre-​existing condition that my medical insurance might not pay one day when it was really bad.
Along comes Dr. Rob! Without going through the entire story, I’ve got to tell you that I have suffered from lower back and sciatic pain for most of 35 years. Additionally I have had joint pain in my knees, elbows and wrists.
Within a few months of seeing Dr. Rob my back pain subsided and my joints feel like new again! This isn’t magic, this is a man that knows his business (or bodies as the case may be).
I know exactly how I injured my back 40 + years ago, but the rest of my aches and pains I just explained away by the wear and tear of old age. Dr. Rob proved me wrong!
Dr. Rob is especially good with athletes, both young and old. So whether it’s an old war wound or a recent injury, give Rob a shot. I ‘m sure that you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the results. After years of back pain, my wife encouraged me to see a chiropractor. I was very skeptical about going to a nonconventional doctor. I was amazed how fast the results were and that’s why I recommend Dr. Tara. If you’re in pain and want real relief and not be on pain medication by a conventional doctor Then go to doctor Tara! Chris at the front desk really makes you feel at home and worked with my busy schedule.

I have been receiving Chiropractic care for years in my previous city of San Diego and was nervous about putting my care into a new doctor’s hands. That being said, I was so lucky to meet and receive care from DR BRYAN IGNACIO here in Pleasanton. Dr. Ignacio carefully evaluated my condition and level of pain (which tends to be chronic from being a full time hairdresser). He treats each visit individually and strategically, with the goal of long term, overall wellness. I leave each office visit feeling refreshed and ready to tackle my crazy life challenges. I agree with the other reviews giving Walsh 5 stars. I first went to Walsh Chiropractic many years ago when I severely injured my neck. It was so bad I couldn’t even lie down on a table. After a month or two of treatment I was able to backpack in the woods again and ride my bike. I am a martial artist and often have odd, non-​typical injuries. One visit, Tara noticed my right ankle didn’t seem aligned and I had mentioned something had happened. It had felt weak for about six months but I hadn’t thought to ask her to look at it. She gave it a tug, it aligned in place and my balance and strength rushed back.
This week I did something screwy to my lower back after a long weekend on the motorcycle. Hopefully between Rob and Tara they can figure it out.
One thing I will say is I moved to Lafayette and I’m further from Pleasanton. I tried a chiropractor closer to me but they just didn’t have the same technique and instinct for neck adjustments like Tara does. Also, IMO, Rob’s technique for thoracic adjustments is by far the best. I once read that once you find a good Chiropractor, even if you have a long commute to them it’s usually worth it and I agree with whoever wrote that. It’s worth it for me to make the drive.
I think it’s worth noting that both of the doctors are very much into sports and very active in the Chiropractic community. Tara and Rob are professionals that really care about the health of the patient and their approach to Chiropractic is very specific to your pain/​back/​joints and physiology.
I recommend Walsh Chiropractic to anyone seeking care for back pain, headaches and other related issues.

After a car accident left me with constant back pain, I finally gave in and went to a chiropractor. This was after physical therapy, medication, and stretching did nothing for 3-​months.
Rob Walsh provided instant relief to a pain I had felt constantly since the crash. I am now a believer. This guys knows what he’s doing. Highly recommended.

Very knowledgeable! I would definately refer my friends. Even though I go in usually just for a back and neck adjustment, when I dislocated my shoulder Dr. Tara helped get everything back in shape. Yay!

I can recommend Walsh Chiropractic without hesitation. I was in a car accident and received care here through my recovery of at least one year. Now I go to get tuned up when needed. I have been able to return to the activities I love as a result of the adjustments to get better aligned. I am cycling, skiing, hiking, and trail running again after my accident. I have also had custom orthotics made here. These are terrific and far better than any over the counter brand! I highly recommend them for casual or serious athletes. Dr. Rob used to be a team chiropractor for the Raiders. Dr. Rob and Dr. Tara are both active and athletic. Dr. Rob has special sports certification. He works with athletes of all kinds and is active in the local soccer leagues. This is a terrific office with two talented Doctor’s who are passionate about what they do. I can’t think of the last time a took an Advil! :)

I was referred to Walsh Chiropractic by my boss… back in October, I was in a car accident and had major whiplash.
Dr. Tara is wonderful, she helped get my neck and back in tip top shape! I can turn my head again!
Even after the end of my five month treatment, I plan to come back for periodic adjustments.
I am now a true believer of Chiropractic Care!

I agree with the previous reviewer who said that at Walsh Chiropractic, you are treated as a person and not just a patient.
The quality of care is excellent, and over the past few years Dr. Walsh has helped me with: back, neck, shoulder, wrist and foot problems. (Yes, I was a mess!) She works not only on the usual back and neck issues, but also on extremities (hands, feet, wrists, etc.), which is a specialty many other chiropractors don’t offer.
She’s not only done muscle stim, ultrasound and adjustments but also encouraged me to stretch and do theraband exercises (that she took the time to show me); this is the kind of holistic care that is all too rare nowadays.
She also fitted me for orthotics; she actually cast my feet in plaster rather than having me step into a «foam imprint» box and the difference in the way the orthotics fit is amazing. (I’ve had mine for 2+ years now and they are still going strong.)
I get the sense that she keeps up on the latest advancements and is always looking to help her patients achieve wellness.
I’m not big on doctors of any kind, but Dr. Tara Walsh has a great bedside (tableside?) manner and is truly the best chiropractor I’ve gone to. (I’ve gone to several.)
It’s worth the drive, wherever you might be!

Want a friendly chiropractor that takes an interest in you as a person, not just a patient? Then come visit Dr. Rob or Dr. Tara. I have been going here since 2002 now on a referral from my brother. They are great. Dr. Rob gives firmer (stronger) adjustments while Dr. Tara has a more gentle touch – depending on what your needs might be. I regularly see Dr. Tara, but when she is not available or if I need a more firm adjustment, I’ll see Dr. Rob. As I said, they are both good.
The treatments begin with the heat or ice treatment with the electrode therapy on your muscles. This is really good for loosening up your tight areas in the shoulders, middle back or low back. It takes some getting used to and might be painful to some, but it works. Then they take you in for an adjustment. Ah, the best part! A little massage action from the vibrating massager, then the crackin’ begins.
These two are good. They have a holistic approach to their practice and use other methods to help with your problems. I’ve had ankle and knee problems from running and every time Dr. Tara has advice and help for me. I’ve been able to stay healthy and keep my body in check with preventative maintenance visits. Now that I’m attempting to run a ½ marathon this year, she’s probably going to hear a lot from me!
