Specialties
Houses Olympic standard Men’s and Women’s artistic gymnastics equipment in accordance with USA Gymnastics standards.
Padded floor and equipment areas ensure safety for our gymnasts. Two uniquely designed foam pits allow students to safely practice, vault, tumbling, rings, high bar, and uneven bar skills.
Programs for both boys and girls ages 2 and up. Caring and knowledgeable instructors. Strong, award-wining competitive girls, boys and Xcel teams and college scholarship recipient graduates.
We believe children learn best when they enjoy what they are doing. That’s why we nurture both the physical and mental growth of our gymnasts, and we place emphasis on developing foundation skills to safely prepare and build confidence in achieving advanced skills.
History
Established in 2004.
15,000 square foot gymnastics facility
WCOGA opened its doors November of 2004 with the goal to develop a gymnastics program to fit the desires and needs of all athletes from ages 2 years and above. Since that time, we have provided gymnastics training to over 1000 aspiring gymnasts. As a result, we now have one of the most successful competitive teams in California, and our boy’s team was recently ranked within the top 10 in the country.
Meet the Business Owner
Vince M.
Business Owner
Vince Miller, who has a BA degree in Child Development, is one of the founding members of WCOGA. He has been designated Northern California Boys Gymnastics Association (NCBGA) coach of the year numerous times since 1990. In his coaching career, he has coached many successful gymnasts; including national event and all-around champions. His graduates have also gone on to receive college scholarships in gymnastics, most recently at Stanford University and West Point.
Miller also has an extensive judging experience. Vince is the past chairman of the NCBGA. Vince Miller who has produced over 100 state champions, 56 regional champions, and national champions. He is regarded as one of the best coaches in the country and currently serves as a Junior National Olympic Coach. He has been awarded Northern California Coach of the Year for the following years: 1990, 1993, 1995, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
