History
Established in 2015.
After many years of planning and prepping, owners Stef & Bill finally opened our doors in Pleasantville, NY in April of 2015. Stefan has been involved in the cycling industry for the last 15 years, working for local stores and racing downhill and cross country mountain bikes. Drawing inspiration from different enthusiast oriented outdoor sports retailers, Stefan has created a retail and service environment that is unlike many of his high-pressure sales-driven competitors.
«Our goal was to create a place where cyclists of all ages, abilities and cycling disciplines felt welcome and wanted to hang out when they’re not out riding. Many stores immediately pressure customers to buy equipment they don’t need or won’t work best for them. I’m a big believer in educating people, providing knowledgeable guidance, and then letting my customers make the choices they feel best about. You’ll never ride a bike that was ‘sold’ to you, but you will treasure the bike that’s the perfect fit for you.»

Business Owner
A Westchester native, Stefan grew up racing at NORBA Downhill and XC mountain bike events. Working as a mechanic then manager throughout his high-school and college years, Stefan is extremely skilled as both a mechanic, rider and is able to draw on his education in Engineering & Physics to help educate his customers in ways traditional bicycle enthusiasts can’t.
«I’ve never been a fan of places that you walk into and are immediately accosted by sales staff or where you can barely walk through a dirty, cluttered sales floor. The best bike shops I’ve worked at and been to have all let their passion and knowledge speak for themselves. Pretty much any bike-shop bike these days is great, and what I think you’re really looking for in a shop is a place you feel comfortable, and one where you can tell they care about you and your bike because it’s just what they do. When people walk into ‘ride.’ they will quickly be able to tell they have found their cycling home.»
