History

Established in 1994.

We purchased Denny’s Paint & Lighting in 1994 located in Stevens Point Wisconsin. In 2006 I decided to move and change the name of the to Home Team Décor. We moved to Plover RD in Plover Wisconsin. In 2008 we bought our own building! I have been in the home business my whole adult life. Products have changed over the years, we pride ourselves on staying up on the changes good and bad.

I purchased a home decorating business in 1994. Before 1994 I stayed home with my 4 children, ran a dairy farm/​hobby farm with my husband while I worked partime at various retail locations. After working at Denny’s Paint & Lighting for a few years the business owner was ready to retire. I purchased the business and the journey began. I started with 1 part time employee. I moved up to 1 full time and 2 partime employee. 2003 Moved the business to Plover and changed the name to Home Team Décor. We needed to move to get closer to the large home building centers in our area. At that time I had 1 great full time person and 1 part time person. My husband decided to join me in 2005 after installing window treatments for us for years. In 2008 we purchased a building next door to our rented location. In the changing home industry we have added services and cut back on inventory. We have become a full service store. Decorating to application. Since 2007 it has just been myself and my husband.
