At Alura Business Solutions we bring a professional, leading edge IT perspective to small and mid-​sized businesses. That was our business model when we began a decade ago, and it continues to be our exclusive business. What we’ve found over hundreds of client engagements is that smaller companies rely on information technology just as heavily as major corporations do, but their IT systems rarely perform at the same level. We remedy that situation affordably.

What we’ve learned is that most small to mid-​sized businesses aren’t even aware that sophisticated IT/​Technology solutions are available to them. When they find out, the entire equation changes. We sit down with a company’s management and review their current situation, including technology, as well as needs and objectives. Then we recommend a custom solution leveraging existing technology as successfully as possible. As a consulting company, we are measured on how well, and how efficiently, we help our clients achieve their objectives. In most cases we establish ongoing working relationships in order to ensure continued improvement.

Established in 2005.

In 2002, Alura CEO Jason Derstine had a vision of creating high-​quality and customized IT solutions for small to mid-​sized businesses in the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania area and surrounding regions. Since that vision came to fruition in 2005, Derstine’s organization has helped hundreds of businesses with designing, integrating, maintaining and upgrading a vast array of IT systems.

The result of Alura Business Solutions’ commitment to efficient and effective managed IT services is a wide variety of advantages. Some of these advantages involve enhanced security, increased productivity across the board and exceptional operational reliability.

Business Owner

Jason Derstine is a proud Temple University graduate in 2006, and a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He started Alura Business Solutions while attending Temple University and ever since then the business has sustained a healthy 20−25% growth each year.

Jason started his career as an intern doing network engineering in Jenkintown. After that, he worked his way through technical support and network administration until he decided to launch Alura Business Solutions, and the rest is history.

Alura Business Solutions was built from the ground up while Jason attended college and he has and will always work to develop new productive relationships with both his clientele and the community. He grew Alura from one employee to over 10 in less than seven years with a revenue exceeding $ 2 million.

To this day, Jason maintains a customer service rating and client retention rate of over 98%.
