Agio Spa Di Reposo

I’ve been going to this spa for services the past 6 months. The spa is beautiful. The ambiance is very ZEN. The staff treat you like a VIP the moment you walk in the door.
I recommend Spa Agio to everyone. Kelly gives the best facials and body treatments. No hard sell on products. I bought products at the spa and i love them — Sanistas. Karen is the best masseuse.
It’s so convenient for me because I live downtown.

Very very nice spa! Had the water immersion and massage package. Got 20 mins of relaxing lavender scented therapy tub time, which i enjoyed, but i must say i wish that the tub was infinitely quieter as it made it a little hard to lose myself…
I enjoyed my massage… heavenly…except for the fact that my masseuse didn’t lock the table until after I managed to slide away…
While these mishaps may be enough to keep some away, I actually still managed to leave there with my body feeling relaxed and that was the goal. Good job.

Kerri was a wonderful hostess, and you can tell she takes pride in her shop. The atmosphere was very nice. I was promptly shown in by Lauren to start with a hot water foot bath. The scrub & paraffin wax were very nice, as was the rub on the toes and bottom of my feet. There was absolutely no rub/​massage above the lower ankle (it was billed as «lower leg» and the gentleman next to me was getting that service). Additionally, there was still plenty of dry skin on my feet and calculus/​cracked skin on my heels (I didn’t check until after I was already at home several hours later). This was my first pedicure, but after running it by some of the ladies in my family it sounds like I didn’t get the best results.
All in all, I think this was VERY overpriced at $ 65 (+ a $ 15 tip) for what I received. Buyer beware…

80 minute massage with Karen last month was simply divine. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!

I hate this place. Seriously. I walk out with a black bag every time i enter in there!!! Ok, admittedly the Decleor line is like the most awesome fabulous thing on the planet, and I do get a lot of compliments on my ever changing nails.
I’ve had massages here, facials, pedicure, haircut, and waxing. I used to reside nearby, but since i moved i now travel 45min to have Kelly wax my… um… yes… Kelly is super quick at waxing anything! I trust her that much. I have never had an issue with any of the services. In fact I keep saying I’ll go in for a body treatment and then forget to make time for myself.
The atmosphere is serene and calm. The service exceptional. The product lines are all fabulous (of course I’m totally all about Decleor). Go ahead… treat yourself… and/​or someone else. You won’t regret it.

When I spa I want it all. Head to toe pampering, professional, relaxing, «please don’t make me leave» type thing. Haven’t experienced that here.
Facial:
Post pregnancy and childbirth, my skin was a mess. My pores looked as if they were ready to give birth, clogged and screaming for relief. The facial I got was heavy on extractions, which I wanted, so I’m not going to comment on those. The esthetician wanted to chat the whole time and tell me all about her personal life — family, new relationship, blah-​blah-​blah. I had told her upon meeting that I was a new mom forever craving quiet and relaxation. I even said, if I fall asleep, that’s good, right? It’s hard to fully relax with someone chirping in your ear. Plus, it honestly wasn’t professional. She had to leave at least twice to go get things that weren’t in the room. While in the room I could constantly hear noises in the hallway. Again — difficult to relax. The only areas I saw were the waiting room, locker area, relaxation room and treatment room. First time visit, so a tour of the place would have been nice. There were some empty promises made — to show me how to do extractions at home in a safe way. Not done. A sample of a few products would be provided. Not done. Something else was promised but I don’t remember because I was trying to tune out and relax.
Locker Room/​Shower Area:
I’m a size 2, small gal, who was given an XL robe. Granted, the jacket I wore there was a L (juniors) so if they looked at that tag, an XL may have been chosen to allow some room. However, the person who selected the robe for me was clearly larger than I and I don’t think she would have given herself a robe larger than a M/​L. The locker area is small and cramped, in my opinion. While at the lockers, a person could open the door to the hallway exposing you. There were some smaller baskets that I wasn’t sure if they were for waste, or dirty towels. Not enough bathroom and shower facilities and the door to the relaxation room didn’t close all the way. Also, it was clear that some people had stored wet/​dirty shoes in the lockers. Took me a few tries to find an empty one sans mud puddle in the bottom.
Relaxation room:
Also small. A couple was in there «snuggling» when I walked in. Awkward. Felt like I was a third wheel on their romantic outing and could hear everything they talked about. The lighting in the snack area was awkward and employees kept coming in to rinse things in the sink.
Bottom line — based on other reviews I either hit an «off» day, or I have higher spa expectations.

Kerri runs a gorgeous spa! I have been here several times and still can’t get over how fabulously this spa is run. I’ve been to many other spas who try to be on the same level, but none prevail. This is my go to place if I need full relaxation. Chrissy is the best masseuse I’ve ever had! I often come here for an 80 minute Swedish massage, but I’ve also gotten a facial here and there as well.
Needless to say, being a poor college student and submitting myself to this type of lavish luxury can be difficult. BUT, I do anyway because this place is fantastic!
If you’ve never been to this spa and you’re looking for some serious pampering, come to this one! They are awesome and continue to be so give them a shot. :) You won’t be disappointed!

If you are looking for a girls’ spa day, a little me time, or a romantic date, you can get all the pampering you need at Agio. I started going here for my facials and occasional massages when it used to be Spa Julianna. Now as Agio Spa, I am glad to say that the excellent costumer service, relaxing atmosphere, and top-​knotch facial and massage services remain untouched. Here are the details:
Facial and Massages: Sonya Dakar facials, and the Decelor line are both amazing. I prefer Decelor over Sonya Dakar because of the aromatherapy oils it contains– skin smells and feels amazing! But, both are high quality facials! They take their time, get to know your skin, and ask you questions so the facial can be best catered to your needs. I have also enjoyed both deep-​tissue and swedish massages.
Service and Atmosphere: Excellent. The locker/​shower room is clean, spacious, and smells nice. The waiting room has a fire place, tea/​water, and snacks as you wait. And, they are timely with their services-​Always on time.
It is pricey so you need to be able to spend. But, when you are looking to be pampered, in my opinion, you only want the best. Enjoy!
** I have never gotten my hair cut there so I can’t speak for their salon services.

Kerri is absolutely amazing. She runs a gorgeous spa. Never have I felt so warmly welcomed, despite the glam atmosphere it is a truly down to earth place at its heart. There is a kindness here, a real genuineness that honestly makes me a bit teary. They are opened Mondays with a full staff to service your every want and need. To find a gorgeous spa like this open on a Monday is tough in this town, other spas I contacted are open but do not offer all their menu of treatments for some odd reason.
My sister and I swung in to celebrate my big birthday and to chill us out from some pressing personal stress. She rarely gets a chance to come into town and this was extremely last minute. Both of us have been busy as hell, battling a whirlwind of life changes and constant crises on very little sleep. We needed some serious help to relax and unwind.
I have been a complete mess, I can’t find time to Unilocal for goodness sakes, I love to freaking Unilocal,I miss my Unilocal!I have been reduced to contacting places in the middle of the night to get appointments. Sad but true. I have very limited time to sort out my scheduling and I’ve been sleeping when most businesses are doing their thing. I’m really cranky and often sleep deprived, life is just tough for me right now on many levels. This is not an issue for anyone at Spa Agio though, they GET IT. They return calls promptly and are extremely flexible, a rarity and a feature of this haven that is very much appreciated.
Kerri called me back personally first thing when they opened and had really thought out what we needed, scheduling us a private retreat of awesomeness. Her recommendations were perfect and she arranged it so painlessly, I felt nurtured and cared for before I even set foot in the place. I knew from the second I spoke to her that this was the place for us.
The spa is just peaceful. We entered, had our coats whisked away and were given a short form to fill out. By the time they escorted us back to the changing area, they had hung up robes in our exact sizes (I am assuming they looked on our coats) and also had some slippers waiting for us. They even had my size robe for me, a rarity as a lot of spas assume no one is bigger than a extra large. I always bring my own robe but here it is totally not necessary, even for a plus sized chick like me. There were showers for warming up the muscles and lockers to store your stuff. After you are finished you pass through a door leading to the relaxation room.
The relaxation room here had a variety of teas, icy orange filled water and some lovely snacks. We settled into oversized plush chairs in front of the fire and had a couple minutes to breathe. Alexis and Dina took us back to the treatment areas from there to our day of bliss.
We started with manicures. A well lit area with no nasty smells of chemicals. We quite enjoyed our top of the line renditions. Scrubbed, smoothed, massaged, parafined, etc. My hands and arms have never been so soft. I went in with jacked up cuticles and ragged broken nails and came out with perfection! The perfect shape, precise polish and just really lovely.
We moved on to the most incredible pedicures we have ever had. Done on a reclined massage table with heated neck wraps in a private room for two. It was so relaxing. We were side by side getting blissful. I have never been so damn comfy during a pedicure. No awkward leg lifting or need to do a damned thing, I just was utter jello and totally cozy, its like you’re getting treatments in the softest warmest bed. They do long, long skilled massages. Warm parafin was just ahhhh. It was like a reflexology massage and pedicure rolled into one. I felt so amazing afterwards, totally refreshed. My toes and feet are gorgeous!!!
Everyone here is so friendly, warm and charming. My sister and I felt like treasured family. Kerri took time out of her day to give us a grand tour, gave us some lovely goody bags and even just chatted with us happily for a bit. Alexis and Dina were quite personable and seemed to know just when to chat a little and joke and when to let us zone out. For the first time we each felt like we got equally excellent work done as well. So often you go to a spa and feel like one person got the better experience somehow. Not this time. These ladies are both are super talented at what they do. We absolutely loved them. I would be eager to have either again, it would be so hard to pick.
I know they are not the cheapest spa in town, I don’t care. I can say without a doubt it was worth every penny and I am usually cheap as hell. For a rather small difference in price you get soooo much more here! It is comparable to the more glam markets, we even preferred it to our Chicago spa! Luxury and true happiness within a no judgement zone, we felt like we were right at home. I am in love. Give it a whirl and you will not be sorry a bit. Go big or go home or as my niece says «no regrets». We are already planning the next trip. Trio massages, hmmm.

I won a spring pedicure from a local radio station and this was the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had!
First things first– parking is not so great. I’m not familiar with downtown Plymouth and there is no lot or garage for the spa’s use. So I parked on the street and was worried about it.
The building is clean, bright, and open. The nail services area is closed off by a window paned door. The receptionist helped me navigate through spring/​summer construction and was very friendly when I arrived. The nail tech also was very friendly, patient and knowledgable.
The seasons pedicure package has a specialty drink, scrub and lotion that all match the particular season and spring’s was pink lemonade. I picked a nail color that didnt look so great out of the bottle so she let me pick another color to take home so that was nice. I was lucky to be the only appointment at the time so it was quiet which was great.
Overall I was very pleased with the service and spa. To be honest it’s more upscale than my pocketbook can handle! But if I ever had a chance to go back I would in a heartbeat.

I love their standard pedicure which is both highly relaxing and produces nice results. The environment is peaceful and private. Definitely not the frenetic space you often find in salons. This is a first class day spa. I am glad they are right nearby in Plymouth. I hope to book a massage sometime too!

Spa Agio is a wonderful slice of heaven that gives you pure bliss. The setting is beautiful, quiet, and serene with convenient parking; the staff are tremendous in each of their specialties, and uniformly considerate and pleasant. I go there regularly for anti-​aging facials, shellac manicures, pedicures, waxing, and massages and they hands down have been the best. They really are a gem for the entire metro area and I’m so grateful that they are a part of my life!

Tremendous service — went *way* above and beyond what I would expect — highly recommend.

World Class Spa–
Can’t say enough good things about Spa Agio. The atmosphere is relaxing, warm and friendly. The staff are extremely accommodating and the services are of the highest quality. If you have never tried a Spa, then you need to start here.
Ok, there has to be some opportunity– would be nice if lockers had hooks inside them for your shirt.

Heaven in Plymouth? I booked the Restore half-​day package which includes an aromatherapy massage, Vichy exfoliation shower, and a facial. The staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed (especially with the Vichy shower which I’ve never had before) and the services are top notch. The quiet room is comfortable and the spa provides ice water infused with fruit, a number of different hot teas, and various little snacks such as cookies or granola bars. I was not rushed between services and was given time to use the restroom or relax briefly in the quiet room with a beverage and a magazine. I’m so happy a great spa has returned to this location!

Love Spa Agio!
I’ve been for a facial and a trio massage. Loved both and would repeat both. In fact, I plan to slowly work my way through the entire menu as time and by budget allows.
The facial was as good as any facial that I’ve ever had. High end producted that were targeted to my skin type.
The trio massage was absolutely inspired. It was a massage of the hands, feet and head.
The best thing about Agio is that the staff is so friendly and open to quesions. After my first visit they answered several questions about their list of services and even gave me a quick tour. They are also are very knowledgable about the products they sell. I found their attitude to be extermely relaxing.
The worst thing is the changing room. It is a little cramped with doors that open on both ends, so I was always a little paranoid that someone would be opening a door.
