Pretty unhappy with the service I was given. I didn’t like the attitude Paul gave me on the phone. I was already stressed from being locked out in the cold. I hope he works on listening to his customers and what they say.

I tried to fix my garage entry door lock my self but couldn’t.Paul came within 1 hour of my call and put on a new one .He knows what he is doing, he is prompt, reasonable and local. and avery pleasant guy to do business with. I highly recomend him, Arnie W

He didnt finish the job.
Paul seemed like a good guy. He actually tried to save us money every step of the way. He was fast and responsive at first, but then he got upset when I gave him a 4-​Star review. Afterward, he showed up unannounced one workday morning and was upset that it wasn’t a good time. He never returned later calls or came back to finish the job. His planning and communication could be better.

Paul was great. We needed a few keys for our rv. I might add they are hard to find. Well Paul went on line and told us were to order them. He said they are blanks but, come back and he will key the blanks for us, at no charge. We came back with the blanks, and true to his word he did not charge us for his work.
He is a nice guy too. Thank you Paul.

I recently had the need for a reputable locksmith for some projects around my home. In checking reviews (here on Unilocal and elsewhere) I found Associated Key & Lock.
I was very pleased with the service I received; pricing was excellent; great communication.
In reading the previous reviews, I was uncomfortable with the review written on 9÷27÷14. It appears that Associated Key & Lock did exactly what the person requested with the information provided and when there was an issue, he wasn’t happy with the result.
If you don’t tell your doctor all your symptoms — they’re not mind readers. This pertains to any business. I’d rather my doctor tell me ‘I don’t know — let me refer you to someone else for follow-​up’ and I wouldn’t fault the doctor for the fee they charged me.
My experience was flawless and I would recommend Paul and his company to anyone — business or residential — in the future.

I brought an Andersen door lock in and asked him if he could rekey it. He rekeyed it and charged me. When I went home and put it back in the door, it didn’t work. I brought it back to him and he said that it didn’t work because there was a broken part, and because he wasn’t very familiar with Andersen locks he hadn’t noticed it was broken when he rekeyed it, but he didn’t offer a refund. A competent locksmith would have noticed it had a broken part and either not rekeyed it or offered to repair it. He didn’t offer me a refund, he just said «I can’t help you».
