Computer & Printer Repair

Im Going to recommend you avoid this company. I will explain the short version. I contacted them well over a month ago to have a wide format printer looked at. When the tech showed up I was very disappointed in is knowledge of my printer. I had to tell the tech how to get into the settings I think i knew more about this printer than he did. Any way i gave him a shot to see if he could figure out what was going on with it. After playing around on his tablet for about 5 minutes and playing with the printer for about 5 Minutes he says its a main board problem and he would get me a price on it Monday morning. I said ok no problem and wrote him a check for the service Call $ 199 which i think is ridiculous for the 10 minutes he spent here. So over the weekend I started doing my own research to try and figure out if the tech was right or not. Well after about 2 Hours of research there is a common problem with the firmware. So i decided to try and do a firmware update. Well what do you know problem fixed. At this point I was very unhappy with the tech. So i decided to call and ask for my money back for the service call. After trying to contact the owner multiple times with no luck I wrote a review that said basically the same thing this one did. Well magically he called. He was very rude and told me that it is very unprofessional to write a bad review. I explained to him that i had bad service and was getting ripped off. So yes i wrote a bad review. After arguing with him for about 15 Minutes he said he would have my refund in the mail the next day. But he said this with one condition to remove my Bad review. I decided that if he was going to do the right thing I would gladly take the review down. So just for reference the next day is going on 3 weeks ago now and still no check. Which is why im going to go ahead and put the review back up. Maybe it will motivate him to do the right thing and send me my refund. Any way I would stay away from these people if they dont know how to fix your machine they are just going to sell you random things to make their money.

My friends’ printer/​fax went on the blink right before I got there and they liked it well enough to get it fixed rather than buying a new one. We were out running errands and dropped it off. It took over a week and cost two or three times what they thought it would but in the end they got it back and were satisfied with the way it now works. I guess that’s what’s important.
